Superb range of cars, all indoors out of the rain and snow when we came! We were left to browse at our leisure and James was great at providing us with all the information that we needed about the cars and the warranty. We will definitely be back to buy another car from James when our daughter passes her test.

Initially dealing with James, I was provided with a detailed history file on the Porsche Cayenne enquired about and I felt reassured that the car was of excellent quality and good provenance. It’s nice to be reassured that when spending a lot of money, a dealer is able to provide a very detailed video of the car and walk through of its features, service history etc. The car was delivered to my home last week on a trailer by John who was pleasant. I cannot express enough my recommendation for Hitchfields. Fab service!

We made an appointment to go and view a car today, met by Sam on arrival with the car ready to view. The place is massive with some pretty quality cars....my eyes did wonder for abit at the impressive selection they have. We went for a test drive and knew it was the car for us. My partner doesn't suffer fools or pushy sales people easy so I was glad Sam was nither but he was very informative about the car and products they offer. We put a deposit down, shook hands with Sam and the manager... Happy days. Would highly recommend Hitchfield to friend's and family👍

I have visited some dodgy places in my time but this is another level !!!
Took a 2 hour drive to view a car and when I got there they told me it had been sold. Thank god it had because I would have been better viewing a skip !!! No prep at all. Horrible service , not even offered a drink. Asked to speak to the manager and what an obnoxious man he is. Rude and no idea of customer service. I think I dodged a bullet buying from that place they call a dealership.

WHAT A RIP-OFF COMPANY. The cars I went to see weren't fit for the road they dismantled the engine management light so you couldn't see the faults, there was 2 baldy tyres on and they said they Will be replaced. if that was the case they would of been done straight away due to safety, the owner is full of bull, he thinks he knows it all, by me being a mechanic over 15 years, he tried to give me false information about the car. The service book and paperwork had the previous owners bank details in the pack, what happend to GDPR so it seems that they don't care about your details going to the next owner they just want to sell you an overpriced car with faults they tried selling me a warranty which I asked who's it with when I looked in to the address it was addressed to a nursing home, this proves this company is a fraudulent company. The sales staff didn't have a clue what they were selling I asked how long you been here he said 2 weeks, he said the previous experience staff just walked out because the owner hasn't paid them the right wages and he's been holding money from there commission for the last few months, what type of company do this. doesn't this sum up this company Stay away.

Sold my car to Hitchfields through Motorway. Dealt with fairly by the team and got approx 2k more than WBAC.

Do not buy from these cowboys
They assure you your hefty deposit is refundable and it's not, they are so at it.
They give you all the sales pitch and how they care and would not put you under pressure to buy if you do not like the car, until you pay the deposit.
They must make a lot from keeping deposits.
Avoid them!!

Great experience, just bought I30N, and process was quick with same day finance process pushed by Kris, Sam and Scott was good.

As soon as I spoke to Liam I knew he was the pushy salesman type which doesn’t do it for me, however I liked the car so looked past it. Wish I’d have trusted my gut, nothing but issues with the car since which granted the aftercare within warranty was good to fix these issues, however to make matters worse they also sold me shine protect for a chip on the bonnet when this isn’t something they can properly repair.. if you’re going to sell a product at least know what you’re selling.
Add costs left right and centre, claiming they know they know their cars inside and out so know there’s going to be no issues LOL

Amazingly Brilliant - Found a car I liked and reached out to the branch. From start to finish it has been a joy and stress free. Dealt with Neil who is an absolute gem and from communication to updates and patience he kept me informed and got everything over the line. Brilliant job Neil and I will be back.

Went to view a vehicle for sale.
The staff member was very rude and very pushy.
I felt intimidated.

Made up a reason to try to knock price of car down after winning an auction. Dirty tricks and shameless with it. Avoid

If I could give NO STARS I would! Avoid at all costs. Particularly Kristian! This business has no integrity whatsoever. Very dodgy dealers. Said they offered a free two year warranty as standard on the website and didn't! This is illegal and against trading standards. Informed them of this and it disappeared (although it might be back up now). No mention of not taking credit cards until we arrived. No clear delivery date for collection (just it could be this, that or the other). Wouldn't accept cash on collection. Moved to finance and informed very clearly that it was against the rules of the Close Brothers Finance House to put the name of our son on the V5 if we were financing it. Then said not to worry about it :-/ Not aware of a £300 charge for finance until the very end of the process. Had the experience in March 2024. Taken me this long to recover from the horrendous experience and write the review. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID or deal with them at your peril. Also PLEASE NOTE that the individuals who have given this establishment 5 stars have never written another review! Very suspect.

I live 250 miles away from Hitchfields so it was agreed that my car would be delivered. Having to part with £35,000 before even seeing the car is quite scary however I was put at ease by having a personalised video of the car sent in advance of the purchase which highlighted the condition of the car, which for a car that is 6 years old is in excellent condition with only a few minor blemishes. The vehicle was delivered on a trailer a few days after purchase and I was kept updated with timings on the day, there was a slight delay due to traffic but that is to be expected on such a long journey. Thank you Hitchfields for my wonderful new car!

Fabulous experience with Hitchfields, I travelled up from Cardiff after dealing with Kris on the phone in purchasing my new BMW. When I arrived, it was beautifully presented and a very smooth transaction. I drove away the same day. Would I recommend Hitchfields? Yes, 100%. I'll certainly be back to purchase more cars in the future.

We sold our car on Motorway and this outfit were the highest bidder. They originally agreed to collect the car last Friday, which they cancelled, it was rearranged for Tuesday today. They sent a rude chap to ‘appraise’ the car who told us that we could have ‘at least cleaned the car’, we reminded him that they were meant to come on Friday and the car had been cleaned and waxed then. From the way this chap conducted himself we could tell something was off. We called our contact at Hitchfields who we had agreed the price with, his exact words at the time were that they had bid £16,814 for the car and had seen the pictures we uploaded and told us not to worry as there was a £16,600 reserve on the car. When we tried to get hold of him today there was no answer. When we finally got through we were told he’d left the company, again heightening our suspicions. Not to worry though because the chap I spoke to said he was going to sort it out for us asap.

After about an hour we got a call back, bearing in mind that we were told we didn’t need to worry as there was a £16,600 reserve on the vehicle, they claimed all sorts of nonsense and offered £15,000. Almost £2000 less than their agreed purchase price on Motorway.

We were disgusted. We have sold a car on motorway before and it was a smooth process and we got what we expected.

Having made a significant complaint and admittedly losing my temper, they offered £15,500. Still we were exceptionally angry, I then got a call back from the owner of the business who apparently was on holiday. He regurgitated the same nonsense that his well trained sales lad had given us already.

I imagine they’ll respond to this to say we hadn’t disclosed all the damage, and admittedly we had missed some as there was a small amount on the inside of the door cill. Still disgusted and after some argument I agreed to come down to £15,800 to get the car gone. The owner of this business refused still, even though we were dropping the price by £1000.

After explaining that I’ll take this up with motorway and leave a review letting people know how disgusted we were, he told me that he would do the same for my business, which pretty much says it all about this outfit, and hung up on me.

Please be wary of this place, in our experience they rarely answer the phone, are completely dishonest and have no respect at all for the motorway sales process. I’ve read other reviews, of which many sound positive but our experience was terrible. I’d hate to think that they adopt this sales technique on others as it’s quite frankly disgusting.

BREACH OF DATA PROTECTION/GDPR - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I purchased a Mercedes a-Class from Hitchfields.

- They handed me a pack of documents which included the previous owners V5 logbook – this had their full name and address on it, which is a tremendous breach of GDPR and is very unprofessional. For this reason, I would personally not buy or sell from Hitchfields in case of a leak of my data in the future. The salesman had asked me to post the documents back to Hitchfields and that they would cover the postal expense, which was laughable as no appropriate apology was provided given the seriousness of the fact that the previous owner's name and address was leaked.

- On the release of the car, Hitchfields claimed to provide an interim service. This includes an oil and filter change. Upon running my car back home, an error came up on the dash advising that there was low oil. This meant that I had to return to the dealership (1.5 hours round trip from my home) to get the oil topped up to a level that it should have been in the interim service, costing both time and money in fuel. Nobody claimed accountability for this, and when challenged, i was told that the mechanic's "may have been claiming that they had done the service to cover their backs".

- Upon taking my drivers license, Hitchfields had forgotten to return it, again insecurely storing sensitive data which would be prone to leak/loss.

- Competing dealerships of similar scale will often provide at least an attempt to buff/t-cut any surface level scratches. Hitchfields do not.

- The valet service was poor and many internal spaces were still dirty/crumby from the previous owner
