Never had a problem with HMV online
Never had a problem with HMV online, this also includes their Ebay store as well.
Dispatched within a day, packaged well.
Only gripe is as a collector of blu ray and UHD 4k movies during the HMV promotions, such as buy three for 50 pound, you are not informed whether or not you'll be getting the 'limited' version.
Example I bought 3 for 50, two movies were recent releases the third not so, the newest of the three came without 'slip case/s' or booklet, however the movies were illustrated with the slip cases, the third (to my surprise) came with slip case, poster and booklet.
Still value for money but I was a tad disappointed, I'll still be sticking with HMV because of the great service experiences I've had thus far.

The (almost) perfect hand over
Perfect in almost every way, the only downside being six days from confirmation of despatch to notification of readiness for collection.

Excellent service received
The gentleman (Marcus according to the receipt)who served me made sure I understood the whole process (never ordered in shop for a home delivery before , im old school and like to buy there and then in a shop) and I felt very positive about the whole process . The record arrived 2 days later , protectively wrapped in cardboard . (It's a present for my daughter so I haven't opened it yet) . I will definitely be shopping at the Castleford junction 32 HMV shop again .

Very helpful staff

The people who are employed there are super helpful, efficient and friendly. It is always a pleasure to go into hmv. The dvds I order always arrive within a few days...so good service too.

Had to cancel the order
Had to cancel the order despite ordering well before Christmas. Really annoying because the emails updating were only sent out after two consecutive weekends (only two emails in two weeks, both Monday am) when I could have bought the items I had ordered from someone else. Very frustrating.
