HMV Plymouth - Brilliant Customer Service
My experience with HMV was perfect! I came into the Plymouth store looking for specific items (A 4K Steelbook and a boxset) both of which were not in the store itself. I spoke with a staff member who was a massive help, ordered the items into the store for me and took payment there and then.
It was a bank holiday weekend approaching so he explained to me in advance that there may be a slight delay in the order arriving to the store, and explained the delivery and contact process to me clearly.
I received a confirmation email once it was dispatched, and another a few days later to confirm it had arrived at the store. The staff member who dealt with me was a top bloke very friendly and helpful.

HMV Plymouth offers decent service with timely delivery and helpful staff. Communication is good throughout the order process. The store provides competitive prices, but the overall experience is just average. It's a reliable option, but not extraordinary compared to other options out there.

Pre-order before release date
I ordered a film months before it's official release date and they kept me updated on where it was and when it had arrived when I came a few days later to collect it was quick and simple.
