Homebase - Newmarket Opiniões 

I was in Store today and I ask one member of staff Lettie I think was her name as they still didnt deliver my parcel from 14 november we cancel them as we waiting long time and I would like to my refund money. I called to costumer service and they said that from last sunday every store can refund the money and if will be any problem I have to give the phone them. This Lady [ Latie ] disnt want to listen to me she start shouting on le so e as well I start swearing and shouting she said that she disnt wont to talk with costumer service and said that I have to leave as he call for police I hope that this lady understand what she done I was the costumer she shouls first listen to me what I want to say .... and I hope that will be some conseqence for her.. They stolen my money and they didnt want to refund. Now I dont have money and my parcel.

Order immediately confirmed & collection details followed straight away. On arrival a member of staff brought the items to us. Good service altogether.

Returned item which was faulty, told by manager it was fine , then refused a refund

Awful - collected lengths of timber from the Newmarket store, and asked for them to be cut down so they could fit in the car. Despite this being an advertised for service, to help people get the timber home, we were told to “get a better car” and left to go on our way. No wonder it’s going out of business. Sort your website out if it isn’t a service you offer, and sort your staff out. There is no reason for rude behaviour of this nature for paying customers. No assistance offered in the slightest.

Paulo and Angela in the paint department at the Newmarket store are amazing. They are so knowledgeable and helpful. Awesome husband and wife team!

Angela was fantastic - approachable, knowledgable, cheerful, friendly & incredibly helpful. She completely understood what my teenage daughter was trying to achieve with paint colours & we left fully kitted to paint the room (no easy task!!) Staff like Angela will definitely see us shopping in Homebase again! Thank you so so much!

I had a mini painting lesson while buying paint - lots of helpful tips . Spent more as a result but Paulo got me thinking about what was actually needed.

Team members were excellent but so many of the products were covered in bird faeces. When we queried this we were told that they were aware of the problem but it was too expensive to remove the pigeons from the store! Staff said being shat on was a regular occurrence. This is disgusting and a hygiene issue.

Jo was really welcoming and was very happy to help us with a rather large paint mixing order! All paint colours were as the colour guide and the paint was mixed quickly while we were able to walk round the store for the rest of our shopping. Thanks so much Jo!

Came to this branch mainly to pick up a picture frame, despite some minor personal matter to begin with.
Was served by a really nice young lady named Amber. A kind, helpful, and professional attitude all the way.
All in all, this Homebase has just about everything you need and I highly recommend

Click and collect order identified quickly and was carried to my car as I was unable to do so. After some thought I decided it was far too big, despite not looking like the image I had ordered. Back into the store where the young staff member at the till dealt with return process and the same young man who carried it out came to the car to collect it.
I dealt wth three young staff members, 3rd was at the help desk and the level of service was outstanding, way above what I have on occasions encountered from mature staff. I hope you the manager will convey my feelings to them they are a credit to themselves and should be nurtured in the business

Amber was awesome

Purchased a fan in June which no longer works - Took back with proof of purchase to be risky told can’t do anything as my purchase bank statement isn’t proof of purchase.
Phoned Bury St Edmunds asked to bring fan in there are a few checks staff do, bank statement is fine as proof and refund or replacement would be given.
Sadly Newmarket was closer however manager lazy and needs to be retrained with the law and Homebase policies.

Sue in the gardening section is an amazing asset to the team. She knows her stuff and was only too happy to assist a total novice with in depth instructions and advice although she obviously had other tasks to be getting on with. Thank you Sue!!! I will try my very best to keep these plants alive with your expert advice :-) (Susannah)

Helpful and knowledgeable staff, go the extra mile. Genuinely dog friendly. Comfortable going in the store alone and as a self learning DIYer with many questions, value their patience and support. Very fast click and collect, almost immediate!

Now have inpost lockers (only a few, hopefully this will increase with demand), which are much needed in Newmarket.

Lots of parking close to the store, so although Blue Badge parking is limited it’s not been an issue for me so far.

All of the staff are great, but the person that stands out for me is Mark. Knowledgeable, practical, helpful, including offering to push my wayward heavy trolley after helping me to decide my purchases and offering to load my car. Newmarket Homebase is my go to store.
