Brilliant. I do recommend the service I got my purchase delivered in 1 working day after purchase. Before I got 25L Balloon sent from Poland and it was delivered broken now i have to argue to get money back here i did pay and i was served extremelyfast and professional packing was perfect. This store have saved my Wine as maceration was already in process. Highly recommended great quality fast delivery. I did ask question customer support and got my answer in 1 hour.

Bought a home brew Kit just last week and was delighted with the package, delivery was fast and hoping to brew my own beer soon.

Went on website, 8/7/26, chose items, that all were listed available, paid money, got confirmation email. Next day email from them, saying 2 beers are out of stock (though still available, on site, up until this morning 15/7. When finally saying out of stock). Instead of emailing me to say, a mistake made, can I chose another 2 beers, they say beer out of stock, rest of items sent, refund in few days. Now I'm 2 beers short, and will have to pay delivery charge again, for mistake on their part. I asked for credit for delivery cost on next order, but fell on deaf ears. Been a customer for the last few yrs, only finally got email yesterday off them, say only refunding beer. They've lost my custom!!!

Ordered a home brewing beer kit and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it arrived. Everything was well packaged and nothing was missing. For the price, you get a lot. It's good value compared to similar kits I looked at before buying. Would recommend.

Was there at their store today, the Gentleman who opened the door explained that they could only sell by online order and do not sell over the counter for insurance reasons anymore. As they do provide directions to their store on their website, I guess you could order and pick it up there. However, the item I was looking for (dry spray malt extract) was not in stock anyways. But: I was given some expired packages for free! He didn‘t even let me buy him a coffee. So: very friendly, very helpful. Thank you very much!

This "shop" is a complete scam. Can get my order for 3 weeks now and they always reply with made up stories. So, I've decided to check Trustpilot and found that I'm not alone. Waiting for a refund via Paypal. Important - do not close Paypal dispute because you'll be not able to open it again. That why they immediately ask you to close it as soon as Paypal reached out to them. Good luck.

Don't touch them with a barge pole. Customer service is non existent won't answer phone or email.and like many others have had to go through PayPal to get a refund

Placed an order yesterday,tried contacting them today no answer,went straight to paypal after looking at the reviews,paypal in the process of giving me a refund.
NOT GOOD WHEN THEY CANT PICK UP THE PHONE!

Similar to others I have paid for product but using PayPal. I have not received the product and PayPal have no record of the transaction despite me receiving an receipt email from Paypal. I have tried email, text and calling but no response, I have raised a case with the competition and consumer protection commission.

Received notification of a refund from PayPal today (15th Aug 2025). I would suggest staying well clear of the hassle I have experienced.

It would appear that fake reviews are subbmitted also

Worst Customer service. It's very interesting the reviews here are either 5 or 1, no middle of the road. I had to open a PayPal dispute to get any traction on my multiple emails that were met with 1 liner scant responses.
I'm so disappointed as I always insist on buying local & being from Galway was really excited to support a Galway company.
But they couldn't give a crap about customer service, so why not give a dismal review.
Lucky ye, who gave the 5 star reviews. That was what I was really hoping for.

Great service, no issues at all. Very nice on the phone too.
I bought 168 euros worth of goods. A new beer brewing fermentation kit, some premium spray malts and yeasts and some beer kits too. One of the kits that comes with the pack wasn't available so I was provided with premium advice on what I could be offered close to my order. They even threw in some sanitiser and carbonation drops for free.

One recommendation I would have for them is to update their supply of beer kits. Seems like alot of out of stock stuff up for sometime. However they may have been cleared out over the Christmas period.

They just don't care, endless promises and endless stories. Avoid at all costs.

Iv had nothing but good experiences with them. They use DPD to deliver and havnt had any package that was late. All items iv purchased are great and the one time I had issues with two brewing kits they resolved the issue in a timely and friendly manner.

Ordered products in October. After 5 weeks and numerous emails I still have not received my purchases. Cannot get any response from company. I would strongly advise avoiding home brew west. They appear to be absolute chancers. I may have to resort to legal action.

I purchased homebrew equipment and also a malt extract kit. I ordered this late in Thursday afternoon and I had by Monday. I always buy from them.

We ordered few times, always quick and good. But last order was damaged, contacted them and after a few mails they told me that a replacement would be sent out. This was 2cweeks ago, another mail sent to ask about my replacement and no response up till now this was the 19th of this month.

I've been ordering from homebrewwest for around a year now and have found them brilliant, great prices and very quick delivery, the one time I had an issue was resolved very quickly, overall I've had great experiences buying from them and would definitely recommend them for anyone getting in to homebrewing.

Great service from the lads , great people to deal with. fresh product at a great price, you'll do well to beat this lads. Good job

Ordering could not be sent within three weeks, the letters do not respond, the response is achieved only through dispute in paypal system. Long invent different stories, eventually returned the money, wasted time.
