I obviously had to fit it to find this to find out.
Tap returned but found to be acceptable by manufactures as it dribbled for only "up to 20 seconds".

Good service from staff, but let down by the manufacturer and overall outcome
I purchased two Kartell toilet units from HomeSupply for around £500. The customer service team — particularly Mollie — were polite and responsive throughout, and I want to acknowledge that.
However, one of the units arrived with a manufacturing defect: it leaked from the ceramic body after every flush. What followed was weeks of back-and-forth, video evidence requests, and delays — during which I was left without a functioning toilet. By the time the replacement was arranged, I had already paid my plumber twice: once to install the faulty unit, and again to remove it and fit the replacement. Despite this, only a £50 goodwill gesture was offered, which did not come close to covering the additional costs I incurred due to a product that should never have passed quality control.
To make matters worse, during the return process an old pan was mistakenly sent back to the manufacturer. Rather than simply disposing of it — which would have cost them nothing — Kartell shipped it back to my address without my consent, had it signed for by a neighbour, and cited "hygiene regulations" as the reason they couldn't handle it. Those same hygiene concerns apparently didn't prevent them from putting it on a courier van.
HomeSupply's staff did their best within their limits, but as the retailer they were ultimately unable to advocate effectively for a customer who had cooperated fully at every stage. If something goes wrong with a Kartell product, be prepared for a lengthy and frustrating process.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and the inconvenience caused. We do appreciate your kind comments about Mollie and the team and we’re pleased their communication was helpful throughout.
Manufacturing faults can unfortunately occur from time to time, even with products supplied by reputable manufacturers. Once we received the requested evidence confirming the fault, a replacement was arranged and sent within 5 working days, in line with the manufacturer’s policy. We appreciate that the process may have felt frustrating, particularly given the disruption caused, but the evidence requested was necessary so the manufacturer could verify the issue and authorise the replacement.
With regard to the additional plumbing costs, we do understand your frustration. However, the goodwill gesture offered was not intended to cover all third-party labour costs, as these are not something we are able to guarantee or reimburse in full. It was offered as a gesture of apology for the inconvenience caused.
Regarding the incorrectly returned pan, this item was not purchased from HomeSupply and had already been used. For that reason, responsibility for its disposal would not sit with either ourselves or Kartell. We understand this added to your frustration, but we are unable to dispose of a customer’s old sanitaryware on their behalf.
We take feedback like yours seriously, particularly where it highlights the inconvenience caused when a genuine product fault occurs. While parts of the process involve working with the manufacturer, we do recognise our responsibility as the retailer to support our customers as effectively as possible, and we will continue reviewing how we manage these situations going forward.
