I recently had the pleasure of working with Dave at Howdens Calne to design my dream kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results!
Dave took the time to understand my vision and guided me through the entire design process with patience.
We had numerous meetings ( on and off site ) to select the perfect units and accessories, and his attention to detail made all the difference.
The quality of the kitchen is outstanding—every element feels well-crafted and thoughtfully designed, which truly elevates the space.
Highlighteing the life-changing Quooker Cube tap, which has become an essential feature in my kitchen. It’s incredibly convenient and has made cooking and entertaining so much easier!

The ordering and delivery process was impressively smooth, especially since it all happened while I was away in Mexico. I appreciated the seamless communication from Dave, with my Kitcehn installer ensuring everything was on track.

I highly recommend Dave and the team at Howdens Calne for anyone looking to create a high-quality, functional kitchen.

Not great, every time I go there they can't really be bothered to be honest, went in and got ignored so went to B&Q, then got told to take a new customer application form for one of my customers as it would be quicker, returned it next morning to be told he'd have to come in and they couldn't go out, they've now lost a house full of doors and a kitchen in the new extension.
Thinking about moving my account !!!!!!!

It all started so well! Just moved into an old house with a Howdens kitchen which was looking a little dated. The built in Fridge and Freezer tended to fall out of the traps when the door was opened and we therefore opted to replace the entire unit. A new freestanding Fridge/Freezer and the built in cupboards replaced with a single double-door floor unit. Howdens (Calne) the nearest and off we popped full of expectation. Saw the signs outside that said customers and trade welcomed and having enquired about buying a new cabinet carcass. Didn't have a trade account but the man behind the counter said wouldn't be a problem we can put through another account. So cabinet chosen - nice because no construction needed .. into the back of the car ... out into the kitchen ... into the gaping hole between the existing cupboards. But needed doors and Lady P rather took a shine to the Sherwood Green (I think - the colour that is!) Cost £755!! a touch expensive but if we were to re-do the kitchen then perhaps. However Lady P fell out of love with the doors and the colour (and I suspect the price) and maybe felt a little pressured to taking everything. Had to wait for the second door ... arrives tomorrow but opted to try and get a refund on the doors - or even a credit note .... but NO! The doors and the carcass are sold as a unit and I could bring everything back and get a credit note - if the cupboards were still in their original packaging! Which given they were already installed couldn't happen! But oddly two of the staff seemed quite happy to provide a refund for the doors - the manager was of a different mind and brought up the issue of "the unit is complete with doors and handles" even though they are sold separately. So I sit here disappointed, feeling a touch scammed and a little lighter in my wallet and a lot wiser in my future dealings with Howdens. Which is a pity. We were about to get a quote to help renovate our Community Hall kitchen but I now feel disinclined to do so and to find an alternative source - even though they, again, installed the original kitchen 3 years go. So not many stars from me and a not very impressed customer. If it goes through a trade account then give me trade price - if not then be upfront and explain!!

This is an update to my review above - and I have to confess to feeling more than a little confused. According to Howdens website I can buy kitchen units without doors, and similarly I can buy doors without cabinets. It also seems I cannot buy units unless I am trade. So in the paraphrased words of Shakespeare "there is something not quite right in the state of Denmark". Below is a copy and paste from their website: Can I just purchase cabinet doors? Absolutely. Perhaps someone in Howdens would like to correct me if I am wrong ... and then I can apologise!! Oddly I never got a receipt from the counter for the items - only the card-reader receipt for the total amount.
Some of you eagle-eyed review readers will notice that the rating has changed from one miserly star all the way up to 3 stars. This was purely on the back of the speed at which Howdens (Calne) reacted to the feedback and the actions they took .It was quick, efficient and hassle-free. Faith has been restored, and whether this was a reaction from the customer-service team at Howdens or perhaps the recognition by Howdens (Calne) that something had gone awry it matters not. What matters I am now in a much more content frame of mind!! and a relatively happy customer. More Importantly Lady P is happy and, if she is happy, so am I.

Hannah was great. That’s what you call customer service. Calne should be the training outlet for all Howden branches … friendly, knowledgeable, professional help. Really enjoyed spending my money! Thank you Hannah

Friendly and efficient service. Very good advice about product range. Products in stock. It's a local depot, so fast and easy access.

Given wrong door and lost hours having to sort out another one. Never any recompense for time to put it right. Staff just sorry and move on. That is not right in my books loosing £140 for me is not easy.

After moving to the area 2 1/2 years ago I’ve used the Calne branch regularly. The staff are always very helpful and go the extra mile. Quality of Howdens kitchens are far better than other companies and if there is a problem it’s sorted straightaway or within a day or two.

Was super happy to see a Howdens branch appear in Calne as I had just moved there myself . Building is kept immaculate and feels very nice to visit . As a long standing customer I am very familiar with the staff that run the place and feel very comfortable visiting . The prices are always very reasonable and the manager will always endeavour to supply me with the best price available. Keep up the good work team and hope the future is bright for all of you .x

The kitchen and appliances are outstanding quality. Even with a couple of hiccups our end. Howdens sorted these with no problem

Calne howdens are my go to branch no only because they're local but also because they're so helpful

I have used Howdens for over 18 years and I have been in to many depots over that time and Howdens Calne are one of the best I have used.
Their customer service is one of the reasons I keep coming back. If there are ever any issues at all, the staff are happy to help.
