Great service, great product, great price !

Very helpful good customer service

Initially a very positive start. But from then on we’ve had nothing but issues.
Working in the trade I get that things go wrong but the latest project has slowly been getting worse.

We asked for a later delivery date to allow time for the extension I am building to be finished allowing room then for the kitchen to be stored. A month early and howdens tried to deliver the kitchen. Not a big issue dates changed and kitchen delivered on the correct date.
Delivery date kitchen arrived and all was fine. We then started going through the kitchen items to make sure everything was correct it wasn’t.
Wrong handles delivered no dishwasher and no dishwasher door.
Two weeks later items arrived wrong size dishwasher and door swapped over the same day.
We then started marking out the walls ready for the plumber to run new pipe work we then found our next issue. L shaped kitchen was 200mm big on one side and 50mm too big on the other side.
All these measurements were taken by the howdens kitchen designer. We’ve now had to reduce unit sizes and remove end panels from the kitchen to just about ‘make it work’ for the layout of the room. In an ideal world the whole kitchen would of been returned to howdens and asked for a full refund but with it being so close to kitchen I am now having to ge the kitchen adapted to work for the space rather that the kitchen being designed to perfect for the room from the beginning. After speaking to the kitchen fitter this is something he’s now becoming used to with howdens kitchens and is actually recommending to potential costumers that they go elsewhere.

Jan fro Howdens at Horwich, Bolton attended our home address and measured up our kitchen, and discussed what we were looking for. A week or two later, we attended an appointment at Howdens Horwich and went through the proposed design cad drawings. We made some alterations and chose our products. The process was really easy.
Having been given a price, we made contact with other rival suppliers to get a price from them too. Having found similar products at a lesser price, we negotiated with Jan on the price and subsequently came to an agreement with a slightly discounted rate.
We ordered our kitchen, and now that it’s been fitted, I am absolutely thrilled with it. We had a great fitter who has done work for us in the past. The whole process has been seamless. Super quality products, significantly better than their leading competitor who we had also looked at. Slightly more expensive, but a far superior product. Thanks Jan for all your help.

Cannot recommend Howdens Horwich enough. Jan the kitchen designer, is very experienced, got us over some very difficult hurdles to get two kitchens right. absolutely thrilled. Always responds to telephone calls nothing is ever too much trouble. All the staff are helpful and friendly and that is down to the manager Mick. Well done Howdens Horwich. Superb customer service. Jan also did a wonderful design for my neighbour who no doubt will be putting her own review on.

Great service from Jan from the planning of the kitchen to the expert advice we received. Called into the depot a couple of times & spoke to Jessica & she gave great service too, nothing was too much trouble.
I would highly recommend Howdens at Horwich.

Mike, Jess and the team are always very friendly, helpful and informative of products inc latest offers. Even though they’re not my closest branch, I prefer to go to Howrich for my materials etc

Good quality kitchens at a good price

The staff themselves are brilliant and always try to accommodate where possible, however, when ordering big projects there are always things missing, things missing off the order like extractor fans for kitchens. Sending wrong doors etc. It just adds stress to the job and having to make the trip back to the warehouse, wasting time, and as we all know, time is money in business.

What can I say - the staff were all so helpful and knowledgeable during the ordering process. Offering great advise and suggestions which I would not have thought of.
The finished product is just perfect. Everything I wanted and more. Could not be happier. Thankyou so much and well done to all your team.
