Howdens - Wellingborough Opiniões

staff friendliness, product knowledge, competitive pricing, they did what they promised to do.

Always enjoy the service and ‘banter’ in the wboro branch and the latest gimmick, ‘PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT’ is great, love the ‘wig’

Always seem to have what I need in stock at reasonable prices with helpful and polite staff.
On this occasion, I went into the branch, asked for the cooker I needed, checked with the sales person it had what I needed all included and took the item with me.

Everything arrived on time ,all there and in sound condition

We had decided to have a new kitchen but because Howdens don’t sell to the public we didn’t know how to go about it. However we made a ‘phone call to Howdens, Wellingborough, and were given the names of tradespeople we could approach with a brief overview of each of their specialities. We chose Chris (Webb Interiors U.K. Ltd.) We were then put through to one of the designers (Jo) who explained the next steps and it all went smoothly. Chris was happy to take on the job. A design appointment was made at home and Jo came out and we chose cabinets, appliances etc. She put together a computer graphic of what the kitchen would look like the same day. Chris provided an estimate for the kitchen which we accepted. We then had an appointment in the showroom to see samples of cabinets, worktops, accessories etc. and make sure we were happy with our choices followed by another one at home with both Chris and Jo to ensure measurements were correct.
Our kitchen was started on 14 Nov 2022 and completed on 13 December 2022. We had chosen quartz worktops and these had to be templated so there was a delay between the template being carried out and the actual fitting (we were told it could take 10 days and it did) but the project was managed by Chris with electrics and gas carried out to the highest standards by tradespeople he had brought in at exactly the right time. Everything else he did himself and made a fabulous kitchen for us. The cabinets we chose were Clerkenwell gloss slate grey. They seem to be good quality and we are delighted with the end result. One cabinet was damaged on arrival but Howdens replaced it immediately.
I can highly recommend Howdens and Webb Interiors UK Ltd. Apart from living in a mess for 4+ weeks the whole process for us has been completely stress free.

Staff are very friendly and extremely efficient 😊

Good service as normal

In general the service was good I found the delivery a bit on the expensive side around £30 for a depot that was in my home town less than 1.5 miles away

I had my kitchen designed and when it come to be fitted was completely the wrong measurements and design .. no up stand was put in to support the work tops , cupboards on wall was wrong as meant to be sermetical . Wall cabinet out by 200mm

Water meter tight and hard to get a proper reading off because of small cabinet

No base end panel was provided for in-between integrated appliances. Quartz needs supporting over a certain length. Confirmed by worktop installer.

200mm base unit set back not to measurements on drawing ( see CAD plan)

No filler panel on 200mm cupboard to right of washing machine. Cupboard installed against wall instead of having filler.
Also spoke to managers which keep avoiding my complaint and haven't acknowledged my emails. Then when offered compensation of minimum which was insulting coming from a well established kitchen company

A very positive professional experience with Dorothy going the extra mile to help with layout.

Product Good Quality staff courteous.
