InvestIN Opiniões

I wasn’t entirely sure if I wanted to be a doctor before attending the future doctor weekend programme, but afterwards I was 100% sure I wanted to. It was amazing, enlightening, and fun.

It was very inclusive and in detail as to what will be required from a medical school and what the life of a full-fledged doctor will be like

My son attended the Journalism course as he’s keen to become a journalist and makes his own videos. There were a few problems with the course, but after discussing them with the course directors, matters were resolved and my son had a fabulous 1-1 session with a journalist. Thank you for all your help.

It gave me a clear idea of what to expect in the future and gave great advice and resources towards universities. This was also an opportunity to find people with similar or the same goals as me.

They taught me a lot of things. It was interesting and engaging.

My son attended a Young Psychologist course in London and loved it. A lot of very useful content, met a lot of like minded peers and overall learnt so much more about the Psychology profession and now has a clearer idea of how he sees his own career pathway.

Great experience, kind staff and peers, freedom of lunchtime activities, great atmosphere. I learned so much and would recommend to other people/ come back again.

The seminar was interactive as the speakers interacted with the audience and answered all our questions and queries. There were PowerPoints used which are still available to access now and I that is useful for future reference. Overall, the experience was useful and enjoyable.

Lovely people running the day along with professionals who were really helpful.
I learnt a lot on this day and it was a really useful insight into careers in architecture and design.

I really liked the interactivity of the sessions, and communicating with those around me on such cool ideas was really fun.

The information provided and the immersed experience in different engineering practices really helped shape my perspective on what industry I would like to work in the future.

I sent my daughter on the Young Engineer Summer Experience. While it isn’t cheap of course, I have no regrets whatsoever. She came home full of confidence about her future which is not always easy with a girl wanting to go into a STEM career. Her favourite part was going to the airfield to investigate the planes, which was great because she wants to do Mechanical Engineering at Imperial so she’s going to talk about that on her application form. Some of the experiences she got just sounded out of this world, but more than that she was so complimentary about the staff – both the engineers and the organisers. She stayed at their university halls and made lots of new friends. I stayed in touch with her regularly for the first couple of days but after that she didn’t seem to have time for me! I’m so grateful to everyone involved and would highly recommend this to other parents.

while I did enjoy participating in the young doctor summer internship, I feel that the entire experience was very overpriced and not very useful. Many of the sessions included such as the UCAT and BMAT session mostly contained information I could've found within a 5 minute google search apart from the time spent going through only 5 actual question examples. Now at medical school, I don't feel it really benefitted my application at all as the only time i used it was for 2 lines of my personal statement and I still got in. I had a much better experience and took more out of a free work experience I found online through medic mentor that didn't cost £1500 and was a lot more useful. save your money and spend it on something else!

Having worked with InvestIN for several years on Finance sessions, I am extremely confident in their ability to offer rewarding and potentially career shaping experiences for young students.

On a personal note, I truly enjoy presenting to a large group of students – not only to polish my public speaking skills but to also give back and satiate curious minds on all things Investment Banking.

The programmes are always extremely hands-on and provide an unparalleled insight into the industry – I would highly recommend attending!

Having attended the Young Banker programme myself in 2016, the opportunity to come back and work as an Industry Professional has been fantastic! What I have been most impressed by is the way the programmes can cater for students of all interest levels, whether they are just curious of the industry, through to them being truly passionate and looking to break in to the industry.

A very well organised con job. The organisers promise a lot in terms of speakers but in the actual event they cleverly replace them with less illustrious speakers and sometimes none at all. Actual events are nothing like what their promotional pitch portrays. To create the optics of being well liked some of their reviews with 4 or 5 stars are posted by people who appear to have self interest in promoting them. Any feedback and grievance is stonewalled. Avoid and save your money.

I did the InvestIN Programmes in 2014 & 2016 as a student and am now a frequent guest speaker. The programmes were both fantastic experiences which helped me greatly in entering a career in Investment Banking. It is a pleasure to return as a guest speaker and I aim to help as many students as possible in achieving their dream career.

I have been the Programme Director on the Young Filmmaker Programme with InvestIN for more than 3 years now, and have found it a consistently interesting and rewarding role. My role has been to guide the students through the course, running several of the workshops and activities from Cinematography to Editing, and giving the students advice on their different career aspirations. For me, it is a fantastic opportunity to engage with inspiring young people and support the next generation with their career choices. I think what makes InvestIN truly unique is their commitment to interactive, hands-on experiences which gives a real insight into each career- and it’s been fantastic to be a part of that. I would wholeheartedly recommend InvestIN and their programmes to any student looking to dive into an industry and gain invaluable knowledge and experience.
