InvestIN Opiniões

My experience with InvestIN was extremely positive, and the staff played a major role in making it so enjoyable. Everyone was welcoming, approachable, and always willing to answer any questions I had, which helped me feel comfortable and supported throughout the programme. The experience also confirmed that medicine is the career path I want to pursue. By learning about both the rewarding aspects of the profession and the challenges and hardships doctors may face, I gained a more realistic and balanced understanding of what a medical career involves. The hands-on activities made the experience especially valuable, as they allowed me to apply what I had learned in practical situations and gave me a clearer insight into the skills, responsibility, and commitment required in medicine.

In InvestIN, I had the chance to experience the Investment Banking Experience program. With the program my thoughts regarding my future occupation shaped and came in to conclusion. Right now I feel more confident on my future. I also had the chance to create a career path. In the lessons I had the oppurtunity to netwok with many specialists in their field. This helped me get an edge with the help of their insights and teachings. We also made many interactive challenges and experiences with my friends which helped me with understanding the topics. Apart from the lessons I had the chance to make many new friends which I believe, will last a long time. I spent a lot of good time with them and had so much fun. I also felt cultured with the help of meeting many people from different societies including the Pal group. Overall, event though most students feel unwell for spending their summer holiday in summer camps while all of their friends go on holiday, I believe at InvestIN we spend better time compared to our friends on holiday, and therefore left feeling unwell for other people having more fun than us, out of the equation

Please do not waste your money on this. Completed it two days ago and I’m still not entirely convinced that it wasn’t a joke? Important to note that I’m not alone in this feeling at all – I met some great people and spoke to an array of international and local students, and not a single person was impressed. We all agreed that the value for money is horrific, I truly cannot stress this enough. Many international students who stayed in the accommodation for extra noted that the staff were incredibly strict, rude, and gave little to no time for exploring London which they found disappointing. I understand the staff’s point of view and safe guarding concerns on that, but even places 30 minutes away were off limits during ‘free time’. The cases and materials lacked depth and details which made mock trials/debates feel like a waste of time, the staff all loved to act sanctimoniously for people who are barely 2 years older than most of us which we obviously found obnoxious. £4000 for two weeks of legal work experience doesn’t sound insanely unreasonable but when you break it up into 10 11am-5pm days with lunches and breaks in between, that’s like 4 hours a day of actual work. £100 an hour is outrageous, it should genuinely be illegal. The only redeeming part is the Level 3 Work Experience certificate you can add for I think around £395? which gives you 8 UCAS points. That’s the sole reason I didn’t cry over wasting so much money on this course. Again, not a completely terrible experience but if I had known what it was truly like, the most I would pay is probably a grand and that’s being extremely generous.

Very enjoyable, immersive, made lots of good friends.

I found this experience incredibly helpful because at first, I wasn't sure whether I wanted to pursue psychology as a career. However, after taking part in this programme, I realised that psychology is something I want to study and pursue in the future.

Everyone involved was amazing. They were always willing to answer questions about university life and their experiences in psychology. They were all so kind, approachable, and supportive, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The psychologists who came to speak were also very insightful. Learning their different fields of work gave me a much better understanding within psychology. I found educational, sports, clinical, and forensic psychology particularly interesting.

The actors in the role-play sessions were excellent, and their performances made the scenarios feel realistic. Overall, this experience made me confirm that this is a career path I would like to pursue.

This was a sort of new experience for me, which is why I think it was so amazing, especially paired up with the value for money and organisation.

There are good professor which lead me to the what’s the actual engineering life is like deeply.

I enjoyed this experience. What stood out to me was how it increased my understanding of the fields of psychology I was most interested in.

Every single activity is constrained by infeasible time scales. It’s unfortunate as staff and facilities are great, but the time constraints makes them worthless.

This experience offers enough about almost every branch of engineering (if you choose it) for someone to be able to decide whether or not they’d enjoy learning and studying that specific type of engineering. However, I would’ve liked to see more days where we have certain task and project to complete.

The experience provides multiple perspectives on the world of engineering and problem solving. Especially important for a younger generation, it takes good confidence to trust a younger generation with professional attention.

It was quite informative and I learned a lot. Tinu was a good lead and she was clear about instructions etc. I think the accommodation food could have been better though.

Honestly the teachers were so strict, during these two weeks we are just trying to have fun and make some experiments they always try to shut us down

Pretty good I would like for social activities to be shorter or better or facultative and we can go back from accommodation alone

The program was amazing and so interesting! Emily and Zaaki were so helpful.

Great staff and brilliant course. Emily and Zaaki made it memorable.

entrepreneur program was very fun and informative! would recommend!! Amy was really good and kept everything well organized!

It’s one of the worst summer schools in the world for it’s price. There is only a few good lessons about finance but other than that they just repeat the same lessons over and over with no benefit and no meaning. You don’t go to a bank and most of the lessons are taught by the teachers from investin. The premium program is a scam, they just do a career and personality test and take photo of your future cv.

Really immersive experience, gave me a complete idea of what it is like to be a doctor, and taught me a lot of skills like blood taking, taking a history, CPR etc…
It would be better if we went to a real hospital instead of a simulation but it was still good. Shoutout to Dr.Obaid Sayed he was the best teacher i have ever had in my life. Shoutout to sabrina too she was really funny.

It was very informative and allowed me to understand more about this career choice. It also allowed me to know more about the difference sectors involved in forensic science and which one I liked best. My favourite part of this experience was the finger print analysis as it was really fun.
