Used to be great but something dramatically changed as they are horrible now. The pureline brand has had a severe decline in quality and is essentially junk now.
All goes well with Inyo Pools during the sales process, but when you need to return a small, simple item this company simply implodes. I returned my item as instructed, getting the appropriate Return Authorization. I paid for the return shipping as requested by Inyo. The Inyo website says to "please allow 3-5 days for your item to be credited" but today, after several calls, emails, and chats, I was told to expect a MINIMUM of 5 to 7 WEEKS before the warehouse can get to and process my refund of $95. This is wholly acceptable for any company to hold on your money for that length of time. No wonder Inyo is hovering around 3 Stars on Trust Pilot. Next stop: the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission.
We purchased a very expensive Jandy light engine RO 739400 to install while our pool was being re plastered. We installed it in and it was intermittent. Sometimes blinking and sometimes it would light and we couldn’t get it to synch with our other light. Inyo pools did not send the instructions for installation of the light engine but instead sent the instructions for replacement of the whole light with cord. My husband called to get the get the instructions from Inyo Pools and somehow got disconnected. He found the synching instructions on line and it never synched. the last time I tried to synch the lights the light Inyo Pools sent did not even turn on. We’ve had this part for just over 30 days and it can’t be returned after installation. My husband has held electrical licenses in the past and has already replaced these light engines twice with no failure. This part was a supposed to be a Factory replacement and it doesn’t work. It costs over 1000 dollars. Don’t order from this company, they sell defective products and after installation they cannot be returned. We were ripped off by this company and for what it’s worth, I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well.
I called customer service my pool pump stopped working I talked to Dan Pless told him the problem I was only on phone 15 minutes he resolved the problem I had a new pump in 6 days problem solves if you ever need anything anything to do with pools or supplies Dan is the man at Inyo Pools .com thank you Dan and Inyo pool your the best
I purhcased a Hayward 4 wheel pool cleaner; I recevied it on 16 July, went to install on 17 July; this is when I notieced the hose connection input on the 4 wheel cleaner was damaged; could not connect the pool side suction hose to the cleaner. Called INYO customer support, it took some time but did get a live agent; long story short, I was asked to send a series of pictures which I did on 17 July. Radio silence from INYO for several days, finally I called back, and then found extended delays on contacting customer service. When I finally did, they told me they sent all the information to the "warehouse"; after I got the same response on about the thrid call in multiple days, I discovered INYO was submitting a claim to the manufacture; Hayward. So what I had to do was to order another pool cleaner from a different source: AMAZON (at least with AMAZON returns are farily simple). Yesterday, 23 July INYO finally emailed me sending me a return lable and told me a replacement was on the way. Bottomline for me: never again with INYO; also anyone considering purchasing from INYO, check their "Hassle-free" return policy on thier web site: MUST READ!!!
As a tradesman of 48 years I would not trust or recommend InyoPools dot com. Main reason is their salesperson was not honest from the start, and later learned moral priniciples of this business was more about excuses than attempt to resolute. You may asked the question can one's do better in price and quality? Absolutely, price should not be the main fact in your decision making. When any item cost greater than $500. smart choice is focus upon moral principles of whom you're communication within. Just remember you can replace price, but you cannot replace another's time and pride. No matter what type of business you're in, people depend upon your integrity. Be upfront with others then you do not to make up excuses and hide from truths. Profit does not only keep one's in business, but moral principles plays a huge role. Don't go into a business if you must hide from truths to make sales.
Dan was patient and answered all my questions. He was friendly and explained my options.
Excellent support from Preston. He was patient, clear and answered all of my questions. I had what I thought was a complex problem and he simplified it and explained how to install the correct shaft seal for my pump. Amazon had the same motor for less, but because of Preston's support I bought it from Inyopools,
OVER A MONTH OF THIS
I explained to them that a motor was faulty. I provided them the photos that they asked for. I proved that the motor was hooked up properly. They will not refund me my money for a faulty motor. In fact they gaslit me and kept trying to gaslight me into checking different things until the warranty expired which is exactly what I told them that they would attempt to do, and then they did it. I literally had to upscale images and circle things in order to show them how wrong they were. I wouldn't be surprised if you're not even talking to a real person and instead you are being given a bunch of selected texts that they recycle over and over using chatbots.
I will never use them again. I could understand if they responded and said no we are not going to refund you your money but they chose to be nefarious in order to get out of saying anything whatsoever and made me do more work costing me more money in the long term in order to get them photos and take apart the pump and all of this.
Never ever ever ever use this company.
They do not back up their warranty and blow you off. I do not recommend shopping here. So inyo pool wants more information. Here you go this is the email I sent to you guys. It’s been well over a month. Nobody’s replied. I’ve called in multiple times. I just decided to write you guys off like you wrote me off.

I purchased this beautiful liner from your company in April of last year. Over time, I began to notice the water level gradually going down. At first, I assumed it was just due to heat and evaporation, but even during the colder months, the water continued to drop.
To investigate further, I recently drained the pool to check beneath the liner—something I was reluctant to do, as refilling it is quite expensive. Upon inspection, I suspect there may be an issue with the liner itself.
I’m hoping this situation falls under the warranty coverage. I’ve attached some photos for your review.

I sent this email twice to two different representatives even asked to provide me shipping address so they can figure out why the liner is leaking after several emails and phone calls. I’ve decided that this is not the place to do business ever again.

I purchased a pool pump and was wrong one. Ordered and paid for another one and received a return merch number. We sent the motor at our expense which is fair and told would get refund. After email almost a month ago that refund credit is in process we never received our credit. I e mailed and they responded that isolated problem and will process refund. Still no refund. Contacted again yesterday and now NOT EVEN a response
I can’t tell you how impressed I was with my last interaction with Tyler (support rep at Inyo pool. I had a broker pool pump motor which was old. He patiently walk me through the best replacement part and also offer replacement video to watch. I am all about customer service and they certainly know how to be extremely helpful and friendly.

Update: They reconsidered and we came to an agreement. They agreed to take back what I purchased if I bought an entire system. So it cost me alot more (over triple), but at least I am not stuck with parts I can't use. Now I just have to wait for the refund.
I asked questions before purchasing. An email I received stated "They are designed to fit and perform exactly like the original parts." when referring to a Pureline non-OEM PCB for my salt system. The product page for the item I purchased states "Our PC Board is a compatible replacement for your original Hayward Goldline Aquarite PC board." I installed the parts only to find out they were not compatible with my existing salt cell that the original Hayward had no problem with. Inyo Pools said they could not take the parts back because they had been installed. Their solution was to sell me a new salt sell for over $420 in addition to the $282 I already spent on parts they told me would work. I feel this was deliberate deception on the part of Inyo Pools. They never asked me what kind of salt cell was in my system and never warned me that some salt cells wouldn't work. And they certainly never told me they would not accept returns for wrong products. They could have taken them back and sold them as an open box item and made a lifelong customer out of me. I would have even considered paying a restocking fee. Instead they created a very unhappy customers who feels swindled!
My service rep Eric did a great job. I had bought a new board (my was outdtated) and new salt cell several months ago. After a few emails, Eric figured out I had bought the wrong salt cell for my system and I am past the return date. I had asked if there was anything they could do, hoping for a discount on the correct cell. Needless to say, Eric went way above my expectations and got the correct cell sent out the next day. I will definately be contacting them on my next purchase. Best customer service I have experienced in years.
I ordered a new pool heater on Monday and it was delivered on Thursday. I live in south Alabama and I can’t get over the expedited service. It was shipped out of Albany New York. That’s 4 days.

I had a great experience with this company. The motor on my pools super pump burned out after 12 years and none of the local pool stores in NY could find the proper replacement. I called this company (located in FL) and spoke with Tyler. He was very knowledgeable about Hayward pumps and was able to identify the correct replacement, which was a century pump (the company that originally made Hayward pumps). He reassured me this was the correct pump and I could return if not correct. I placed the order for the pump. Tyler let me know that the part would be shipped from CT so the ship time may be pretty quick (which saved me $ in avoiding expedited shipping costs). To my surprise, the pump arrived the next day. It was an exact match and the installation was smooth. My pool is up and running again. Thank you INYO pools! I have bookmarked your site and it is now my “go to” for any future issues I may have with my pools filtration system.
