This company scams your money! Stay away! They couldn’t deliver what was described on Klook but wouldn’t refund me just within mins after I paid. They just scam you and take your money without shame!!!!

Do not listen or pay attention to these negative reviews!

I have now used IX Rentals twice and both times have been fantastic.

Not only are Adam and the team all gentleman and a genuine pleasure to deal with, but the cars are all in mint condition and real head turners.

Any questions were happily answered, the booking process is extremely easy and as a returning customer, the trust was there on both sides, and I didn’t need to pay a deposit to make the booking.

My damage deposit was returned immediately after returning the vehicle.

There are a lot of unscrupulous and untrustworthy supercar rental companies, but this is definitely not one of them!

I LOVE STEAL- i mean renting cars. I don't mean I steal cars. Its just this companies prices make me feel like I'm stealing!

The experience I’ve had with IX rentals has been nothing short of an absolute headache. Initially, myself and my brother enquired for the same car, a Maybach GLS, providing the dates by an initial enquiry by email (in the first screenshot you can see the listing ID mentioned). We said we needed this by Monday.

After sorting through cost and deposit amounts, I was then told to send very personal information (which is understandable given the car I was renting) and from then on, didn’t receive a response for 4 days. I felt very uncomfortable knowing that I had sent all this information off and didn’t receive any update or communications- it made me feel like I was about to be scammed. After a lot of chasing up, he did eventually reply and say it would be confirmed for Monday morning (the day of the prom so I couldn’t even sort any alternative out if this didn’t work out). When Monday came around, he was unreachable. Myself and my brother called and messaged multiple times to no response. He then called back at around 4pm saying he doesn’t have the car and only has a RR instead (costing more). He then, willingly, which I appreciate, offered to drop it off (the fellow who dropped and owned the car was Miz). When Miz arrived, he demanded a higher deposit (which wasn’t communicated by IX rentals) which caused more hassle and a bit of an embarrassment as I was left having to run around to sort money- you can also see from the screenshots that I wanted to sort payment out earlier- Miz then came asking for cash or transfer which was never agreed upon- I wouldn’t have been happy with this method if IX rentals had responded to any of my calls or messages from Wednesday to Saturday. This outrageous behaviour was then extended upon deposit return, when IX rentals tried to charge me £31 for card charges- why should I have to pay for something that you failed to sort out? They did eventually refund it, but it was a hassle. Finally, if you do have any issues during rental, don’t count on IX rentals to sort it out. I never got a response about the CarPlay- I didn’t even have Miz’s direct contact information (the car, which was also £1350 for the day, wasn’t even washed. The buttons inside were sticky too?) This place definitely edges on the dodgy side- there was no contract and the deposit was returned to a different card. Only giving 2 star as Miz was an sound guy.

Absolutely avoid IXRental – they rented out my stolen Lamborghini LP740 without my permission.

IXRental took possession of my Lamborghini LP740 without my consent, knowing full well they did not have the owner’s (my) authorization. They proceeded to rent out a stolen vehicle for profit. Even after I discovered what was happening and informed them that the car had been stolen, they continued renting it out.

It wasn’t until the police seized the car that IXRental finally contacted me – not to apologize, but to demand £8,000 in so-called “repairs”, claiming I should pay for their “losses.” At no point did I authorize them to repair or even touch my car.

When I refused to pay, they threatened me, saying they had installed a ghost immobiliser and that the car would never start again unless I paid. After over two months, the police finally returned the car to me – and I found that no maintenance or repairs had ever been done as claimed. The car had not been serviced for over a year, tires were unchanged, and multiple new scratches and damages were visible.

When I asked IXRental what work had been done on my vehicle, they refused to speak with me, citing my refusal to pay.

I am sharing my experience to warn others: this company is not only untrustworthy, but has also been involved in renting stolen property, and showed no accountability or transparency. I have kept all evidence and documentation and will take further legal steps if necessary.

Stay far away from IXRental.

It has been several months since my hire and my deposit has not been returned. It has been excuse after excuse, please do not trust this company.

I recently was looking to rent a car and came across IXRENTAL, I must say from beginning to end Adam and Frank were not only knowledgeable but very easy to communicate with, when it came to collecting the vehicle it was clear new and drove like a dream, I would thoroughly recommend IXRENTAL and will be using them again.
