Jake 

bad company, order shakes paid for it but didnt recieve anything. No response on emails, or telephone. Didn’t get my money back.
So now I am starting a lawsuit and hope that I get finaly my money back

I think Jake is a great shake. The issue that I have is the lack of communication. I have written to them a few times asking when the delivery issue will be resolved, and no one has replied.
An update would be appreciated.
Im sure you will lose customers this way.

al jaren een trouwe klant laatste maanden steeds vaker problemen. Laatste maand order incomleet en veel te laat ontvangen. Bellen nummer uit de lucht ..... Mailen kansloos wel reclame sturen maar niet antwoorden.
Helaas op deze manier verlies je trouwe klanten.
Ik kan deze service dan ook niemand aanraden.

I bought the shakes regularly and now I ordered and it’s still processing till June 3th now I’m very frustrated because there is no communication from Jake and I can’t reach them. The least you can do is contact your customer's. Or is there something more to it ?

Bedrag wel afgeschreven maar order niet geleverd.. geen reactie op mail, telefoonnummer op de website niet in gebruik.. Ik ben bang dat ik mijn geld kwijt ben. Erg shady

Bestelling geplaatst, geld afgeschreven en geen levering.
Order blijft hangen op “processing” wel een mail gekregen dat hij is ingepakt.
Geen contact te krijgen met JakeFood. Telefoonnummer van site is niet in gebruik. Wordt niet gereageerd op mails en socials.

I've had a subscription for many years and was always more than pleased with it. However my last order did not arrive, despite the money being taken from my account. Upon calling them, the phone number on the website gives me a 'this number does not exist'. Currently I have no idea what's going on and if I'll get either my money back or my order. What's especially problematic is that my whole diet is based around having a few jakes available.

I'd be happy to resolve this issue but I have currently no way to reach them.

Ordered via their website. Due to a bug in their system the money was deducted, but did not receive an order confirmation. Contacted them via their website, did not get an answer. Opened a Paypal case later, where they confirmed that the order was not processed due to a bug, but still did not refund the money and asked again for my mail address (which is obviously visible on Paypal). Still waiting for my money. Absolute worst customer support.

The shakes are good, but I ordered a subscription to it, I haven't seen it since the first order, and it took almost a month to get to me here in Denmark

Op 28 januari bestelde ik een medium starterspakket en hoewel de inhoud niet helemaal klopte, was ik hier best tevreden mee. De smaken waren ok van zowel de shakes als de bars. En de shakes vullen inderdaad zeer goed. De bars iets minder vind ik.

Op maandag 3 februari deed ik een mix bestelling van 121 Euro. Op de website wordt er beweerd dat de levering 2 a 3 werkdagen duurt en dat zag ik ook bij mijn vorige bestelling MAAR nu ging het dus fout. Mijn voorraad shakes en bars raakte op en ik hoopte dan ook dat de bestelling op tijd binnen zou komen. Ik hield de website in het oog en toen ik zag dat mijn bestelling op woensdag, 5 februari, nog steeds op processing stond, contacteerde ik hen. Diezelfde dag kreeg ik van een medewerker te horen dat mijn bestelling pas maandag kon worden opgestuurd doordat er een product niet voorradig was. Ik kreeg echter ook de optie om die smaak te vervangen door een andere en dan zou mijn bestelling sneller verzonden worden.

Ik koos voor de tweede optie en gaf mijn vervangproducten door. MAAR er gebeurde niets. Op donderdag stuurde ik nogmaals een mailtje om te weten waarom mijn bestelling nog steeds op processing stond. Op vrijdag, 7 februari (en 4 werkdagen na mijn bestelling), kreeg ik te horen dat mijn bestelling aangepast werd.

Nu, zaterdag 8 februari, staat mijn bestelling nog steeds op processing. Mijn vorige voorraad is natuurlijk al op… Ik ben erg teleurgesteld in dit bedrijf.

Their website is downright unusable. I've been trying to mix and match flavors but the website is so bad and slow. I click the add to cart button, no visual feedback and seemingly nothing happens. I go to the cart to see if it was added. It is either not there or it was added but with the wrong amount. I correct the amount, click update cart and the item either disappears completely or no change happens. Plus, a whole bunch of errors about unusable coupons appear at the top of the page. I'm not even using any coupons! Meanwhile every page load excruciatingly slow. I just gave up and didn't buy anything at all.

Are you people even interested in selling your stuff? Do you even want customers?

Ik blijf toch maar terug komen bij deze shakes in combi met de orangefit. Soms vind ik het wel lastig omdat er veel in het Engels staat in de mails. Maar bestellingen altijd keurig op tijd, uitgebreid aanbod en leuke kortingacties. Nu kun je ook zelf samenstellen, heel blij mee om eens wat nieuws te proberen waarbij je niet blijft zitten met 19 shakes die je niet lekker vind. De repen zijn stevig en vult goed, favo is koffiesmaak voor shake en repen.

Jakefood is not a serious company. They are letting out information about, in my case, 400 NOK extra to pay for shipping and tolling. They claim that this information is available under "Terms and conditions". But who reads this...

Better than Huel in most ways. I bought many times from Jakefood. I was a client since perhaps 2015 or so. I indeed had some delivery issues a few times. Also, I did not receive correct order items once due perhaps human natural mistake but why I'm still giving 5 stars is that the company itself is very communicable, have friendly customer service, and always looking how to solve the problem. They go above and beyond, they provided me a compensation and additional items for very late delay. It was a mess in late 2020 and early 2021 due to the covid and UK's leaving EU, therefore delivery was delayed for few months. But the company was willing to compensate everything and really put a lot of effort to follow this up.

Now about the quality. Shakes have a lot of nutritional values. Also, a lot of variety of flavours. Company seams really grow and expands from 2015, they made a lot of new products and favours. Also, they have several types of macro types for ones who need a lot of calories, for those who needs very few calories and for people in the middle. Very balanced, including all essential minerals and vitamins. No GMO shi*.

Taste itself is very relative but for me is OK, as I mentioned there are a lot of different flavours too, some are better than others, just a personal choice. Surely it's not for everyone, and it's obviously not the same taste experience like a fine steak in a restaurant, but for people who need to save time in preparing food or wants to reduce meat exposure it is great if not the best option out here.

However, price went up more than I expected and unfortunately I no longer able to keep buying, therefore I had to switch to Huel. If price wise, Huel and Jakefood would be the same, I would choose Jakefood 100%.

Also, Jakefood lack some more specialised products, for example more protein ratio than normal but less carbs than normal (example from Huel Black 2.0 product).

I still hope to come back and switch to Jakefoods one day, however I highly recommend Jakefood for people who want to save time in preparing food and okay to drink on the go, you get protein from peas, carbs from oats and fat from oils with essential vitamins and minerals.

The taste is absolutely outrageously bad. The vitamin bars a have a very bad tast and it’s very hard. And the vanilla shake is the worst I have ever tasted. I can’t even describe the taste. Far from what I expected to be honest!

Snelle levering & altijd netjes op tijd. Gezien de concurrentie mogen de maaltijden wel iets goedkoper worden. Maar over het algemeen erg tevreden over de service en kwaliteit van de shakes.

I ordered the small Starterbox for 19Euro, which gave me a selection of their 3 main products, a shaker, and a tote bag.

The delivery was prompt, the presentation was great, and the price cheap.

Whilst I learned that the taste isn't as good as the product I normally use, and also only comes in vegan, I am still giving the Starterbox 5 stars. Because it allowed me to find out whether or not the product was for me or not, for a very reasonable price.

There's also some informative booklets, about the product, and of course about saving the planet and all that. You know the usual, who doesn't want to save the planet. ;)

The booklet also contains information about their keto shakes, but that is not included in the Starterbox, for a good reason. A keto diet takes full commitment, and takes a while for the desired effect, which is obviously beyond the scope of the Starterbox.

There's really no downside to trying this out, so, 5 stars. :)

I've been ordering Jake for a while now, mainly Vitaminbars, but shakes as well.

Nutrition-wise I'm still loving it: it keeps my hunger away and my body seems to appreciate.

But here's the catch: when they just revisited the bars they tasted sooo good, with the perfect texture and the crunch was delicious, I really devoured them and it was a pleasure. But in the last year or so they changed for the worse. They sometimes are very hard to bite into or, on the contrary, have no texture at all. The crunch still seems to be there, but it's not crunchy anymore, and they even feel smaller.

That's quite sad to me, as I saw them grow and get better, and now the positive trend reversed... I may be looking at other brands in the future.

Fast free delivery, stills my hunger for 4-5 hours after a shake (i use the light variant as im trying to lose some weight). and also the bars actually taste really good!

Amazing products, great service and fast delivery. Nothing to complain about.
