Bought 2 packets of the seedling compost. Absolutely awful quality. The compost was so hydrophobic it was irreversible. No customer support available to help resolve. Needless to say none of the seedlings germinated.

Bought a set of 4 hanging baskets but only 3 arrived . Phoned customer service and was on the phone no longer than 3 minutes and the missing basket arrived next morning . INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I can’t speak more highly of them. Bought a long handled fork and trowel through a joint-tool deal for a very reasonable price but inadvertently broke the steel fork by foolishly trying to lift up a heavy piece of stone buried in the ground. Left a message on the company’s answer phone asking to buy again the replacement fork and was amazed at the company’s generosity when I received an unexpected gift from the company today, free of charge, of both tools.

Avoid the fruit bushes
Ordered a gooseberry bush.
Arrived as tightly wrapped up as an Egyptian mummy and didn't look very healthy.
Eventually some shoots appeared then started disappearing.
Looks like this bush came with sawfly as part of the package.
Found at least two caterpillars munching through the shoots and very unlikely to have come from the garden.
Whether it survives or not is debatable, but definitely won't be buying any more.
The Muscari from a previous order weren't much better. Half appeared and half didn't.
Maybe better luck with the potatoes.
Dates of experience approximate but bulbs last year, the rest, this year.

I am so surprised at the negative reviews on here... First time ordering on this website and ordered 2 packs of seed potatoes... They arrived early next morning by DPD for free !... The potatoes were amazing, such quality.. big and fresh looking.. I shall definitely be ordering from here again....

I ordered some compost and seed potatoes from "Jamieson Brothers", the compost was fine, nicely individually packed in a cardboard box but when i saw my seed potatoes they were sprouting and not looking too healthy at all, first and second earlies very small seed potatoes, not bigger than a chickens egg, and the "Maincrops" were overseeded with very long sprouts and so small. I had to go and find some more which i did at my local garden center, and guess what they were, "Jamieson Brothers" and all nice and firm not wrinkly or soft and larger than the ones they sent me and not over blown and unhealthy. Not what i expected from you "Jamieson Brothers", nope, not good enough

Disappointed. I received an email offering 20 Free packets of seeds. I thought as a previous customer this would be a good offer. However, when trying to redeem this offer I found that the p&p costs were just over £7 !!
An absolute rip off. Will not bother with them again.

Was looking to buy some bags of compost. Jamieson quoted £70 delivery to a UK address! Outrageous rip off. Avoid

Bought an amaryllis for my friend the beginning of December and it's shocking awful bulb never had a problem growing others 😢

I dont know about the negs on here but I can only relate my experience:-
I ordered 2 x 2kg bags of seed potatoes back in early January, no problems at all with their website, I knew back then that they would not be arriving before the end of Jan. They arrived well packed, in excellent condition today (2nd Feb) I am well pleased and will be buying from again.

utterly crap website - ordering system does not work - called to let them know and was told - yeah we know that

I paid for 60 liters bags of compost. with size of bag same as 60 liters. Received 30 liters inside 60 liters bag. Such primitive thieves.
Now I worry about if compost is actually compost or it is just junk inside the bag.

Bought 15 potato grow bags. Easy site to use. Great value items. Delivered within 2 days by excellent APC courier. Unusual to get such good, value for money service from start to finish. I will buy from this company again.

I ordered some aquatic soil from this site because it was much cheaper than any local suppliers. I easily managed to create an account to get a further 10% discount on my first order. I placed the order on a Tuesday and it was delivered on the Friday.

Worst online user experience I've had in a long time. Failed to be able to purchase anything. All they're interested in is signing you up to their spam, nothing else on their site worked.
