I have a Jared account. I just attempted to make a payment over the phone and I had to jump through many hoops and then eventually talk to an automated person because there’s no physical person to talk to. It took me almost an hour to make a payment on my Jared credit card when six months ago I could login and make a payment and be done in 30 seconds. Because of this and speaking to a member at a store, I am no longer pleased with this company and advise other people to shop at another jewelry store. As they do not stand behind their credit cards.

I purchased a very nice ring online. After I purchased, I had a few quetions so I called customer service. They could not provide any details about the piece, such as the width of the piece, gold weight, and things like that. There was no expectation that these things would be memorized; there is an expectation that they have access to the information. I was on the phone for almost an hour for them to read back to me the information on the site. I did finally get the information I wanted, but not because they provided it.
Conversely, in the 24-48 hours I saw the piece I bought increase in price and then decrease by about 160.00. I did not have any problem having them adjust the price to the lower price.
I probably won't go back just because I prefer more knowledgeable sales people.
I should have listened to the bad reviews.
When I originally purchased a beautiful piece of jewelry, I loved my sales associate! She was informative, helpful, and not pushy at all. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and I left feeling confident and excited about my purchase.
At the time, I specifically asked if there were any sales, and she assured me there weren’t... but...she also said that if a sale did occur within 30 days of my purchase, Jared would honor it BASED ON THE PRICE I PAID. I rewent over that information with her. I felt reassured and truly appreciated her honesty.
Fast forward....Jared’s did run a sale during my 30-day window: a 20% off promotion. When I inquired about applying it to my purchase, I was first told it didn’t apply to my piece. Then, another representative said it did...but not at the price I paid. I reminded them that my original associate had told me they would honor the sale off the price I actually paid, not some new price, but this promise was ignored. I was told I got a better deal when I originally purchased it than the current promo they are running. UMMMMmmmm... what ??? That is not what the original sales rep and I discussed.
I left feeling disappointed and misled. What started as an amazing experience, so positive that I recommended Jared’s to friends, ended with me feeling frustrated and grossed out by the company. I went from wanting to purchase all my jewelry from Jared’s to never again. Oh, and I found out they are also with Kay jewelrs so I will not do them as well.

DO NOT DO IT. If you enjoy being lied to and having your time wasted and money held hostage, this is the place for you.
As a business owner I cannot understand how a company can operate like this and have any type of success.
Tried to cancel an order shortly after placing it. They have a policy of after 60 minutes nothing can be done. Associate told me it was told late although it took them 4 more days to ship. I was told I could return it seamlessly for a refund once it arrives.
The return portal on the website does not work. I am told my case needs to be escalated, and than within 24-48 hours I will be emailed a return label. One week in and not a peep from this higher tier my "case" was escalated to. I have spent hours on their chat service having my time wasted and being given the run around trying to comply obtain a return label. They all give the same scripted answers. One agent even told me she emailed me a label outright, which never happened. I am not sure if these people are bots or what but this company will outright lie to you and tell you anything to get you off the phone/chat. Basically do anything to keep your money and not follow their own policies.
At this point I have filed a complaint with the BBB and hopefully they will sort it out. Although, after reading the reviews I am not so sure this company even cares about how terrible they look. I should have read the reviews first.
Bought a gold diamond paw print…
Bought a gold diamond paw print necklace for my daughter's birthday and never got it. i purchased this neckless on March 10, 2026, and it is now March 28 the day of my daughter's birthday and still no gift. The necklace was purchased through jared.com. I will never buy from them again. Customer service is VERY RUDE they have not helped me at all with this necklace. I keep getting told that a case manager has not been assigned as of yet and they cannot do anything until one has been assigned. I was told it could take up to 14 days before one is assigned. They said there was an expiate placed on it so that a case manager would pick it up and I have not heard anything from anyone as of yet. The only thing I have left to do is hire an attorney and I will if this matter is not resolved.
Extremely unprofessional PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
Extremely unprofessional, I bought an online Omega watch that was modified, so it’s now worth nothing. I paid $5,500 plus tax. I called Jared, and after a long wait, they suggested To called a local Jared and what a nightmare! No mgr. Will talk to me since it was over 30! a period. I'm ready to sue them if they refuse to give my money back.

I would not give them even one star. I ordered a necklace for my wife on Jan 31st 2026. It was showing that it will be delivered around 3-5th February but still did not start the delivery yet.
When I talked to the customer care chat, they keep transferring me to one person to another. They got my money for the necklace plus expedited delivery and not delivering the necklace.
This is just a scam. I will recommend everyone to not buy anything from them online. I have seen bad reviews for stores also.
Worst experience
Worst experience. Bought 250$ earrings in 14k gold. The post dropped off of one out of nowhere soon after purchase. I asked customer service if I could get a repair or if there was a solution and they said no. No respect for their customers. Very flimsy jewelry. Do NOT invest.
Gift lost during shipping - unsatisfactory resolution
I am extremely disappointed with my experience ordering a necklace from Jared online. The necklace was scheduled to arrive on December 9, but it never did. UPS tracking showed it stuck at a processing facility, I called Jared and an investigation was opened. I was told in writing that once the investigation concluded, I would be contacted to decide the next steps. That never happened.
Once the investigation concluded, Jared refunded the money to my credit card without contacting me, even though I wanted a replacement, not a refund. To make matters worse, the refund could take up to 10 business days. After refusing to resolve the issue in a timely manner, I am now forced to wait even longer for a refund to process.
The correct response to this situation was for Jared to issue an immediate replacement once my concern was made. This was between Jared and UPS, not me.
After over a month of trying to fix this, my girlfriend is left without a Christmas gift.
The lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability has been incredibly frustrating. Jared failed to deliver the item, failed to manage the resolution properly, and failed to honor their own written commitments. As a result, Jared has lost a repeat customer.
I would not recommend ordering jewelry online from this company if you expect reliability or clear communication when something goes wrong.

I purchased a necklace with an infinity pendant with an opal for my daughters graduation. When it arrived it had three knots in the chain but my daughter really wanted to wear it to graduation. We never complained. Two weeks later she was wearing it and the clasp broke and she lost the pendant. I called Jared and was passed around to multiple people all telling me they couldn't do anything. I thought that because they have a name for themselves that they would stand by their product but the definitely did not. My daughter is crushed because it was something sentimental to her that she thought she would have forever. I spent less than 100$ on it, I was shocked that they were so callous. Maybe if I had spent more they might have taken it seriously but they definitely didn't care about my situation. I will never use Jared again and I recommend if you are buying something for someone you love, go elsewhere.
I had a nice thick .925 necklace 24"…
I had a nice thick .925 necklace 24" long in my cart waiting on my military disabilty check to hit. That day silver starts to rise. By noon the next day when my disabilty check hit the bank Jared had risen the price 400x what it was. Yes it sucks for me and its just good business since to do that. But man that was a kick in the mulit. I am a long time customer of Jared and I only missed it for 12 hours.
Do not go with the in-house financing
Do not go with the in-house financing. The group the work with is terrible and really hard to work out the concerns you may have. If you are late one minute their late change is highway robbery and in our case was more then the monthly payment.

Maren, is absolutely wonderful at the Jared's, Bridge Street location in Huntsville. She is always friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and is an expert in her field. She takes great care of her customers and makes us feel like family. Thanks for being so wonderful!!

Too bad there are no negative numbers for the initial rating. I just left the Jared store in Newport News, VA and I just have to share my experience.
I was buzzed into the store and greeted warmly by an associate. I shared with her that I needed to purchase a screw on back for my earring. She informed me that their process was they take my earring in for repair, replace the post and screw back. I told her I was not interested in that. Then I asked her to measure the post for me. She brought me back a ruler to measure the length. I told her I wanted her to measure the diameter of the post. She looked confused and asked another associate to come over. She too told me of their process to which I replied, I am not interested in that as I am leaving town in two days. I asked her to measure the diameter of the post for me. She took my earring walked around the corner. Immediately came back to the counter and told me again about the process and added that the thread pattern must match. I held out my hand for my earring, thanked them. The associate in a very condescending rude manner told me to have a better day.
I understand why so many reviews were about poor customer service!

I ordered my sister a ring for Christmas and my brother in law ordered her the matching ear rings. The ring arrived first and it was the WRONG ring all together and to top that off it had the wrong birth stones in it!! The ring also had a tag hanging from it that said made in China. I paid $600 for this ring on sale for black Friday and when I tell you it was beyond hideous I mean it. I wish I could upload pics of just how ugly this thing was. To top that off the ear rings came in a few days later. The birth stones should've been light blue and dark green (to match the ring but remember it was wrong) the ear rings had PINK birth stones!!!!!! I took the ring back to Jareds store and they were super nice, the initial agents I spoke to on the phone were also nice. However after the case was escalated and it took over a week for the "supervisors" to contact me back by email they made no effort to fix the situation. I even bought the extended warranty on both pieces THANK GOD bc I probably wouldn't have even been able to return the horrible looking ring that screamed "I was bought in a quarter machine at a Chinese buffet!!!"

This is the worst company you can buy jewelry from. Customer service is horrible and there communication is no good. The e-commerce department is horrible! I do not recommend!

Ordered necklace and tried to cancel it after 20:00 minutes but would not let me so I called them at 8:00am they told me I would have to go to a store and return the item never seen bad customer service like this from any other company

Inexperienced young lady
Nov. 30, 2025, husband and I went to Columbia, SC location to buy 1 carat diamonds ear rings. A sweet young lady met us at the door and immediately showed us what they had. I questioned the discrepancy between 2 pairs that I was looking at: one was priced at $1600 and the other at $5400. So, not noticing a big difference in quality, I chose the lower priced ones. Once they totaled it up and gave us the bottom line, the young lady came over to us to explain that the one we chose was actually a lab grown diamond which is not what we wanted. She was completely upset over the mistake. So, long story short we found a real diamond set for $2600! Well, then the chaos began. Manager comes over and after 30 minutes or so of him getting the pricing wrong showing the difference we owed since we had already paid $1663. I had to do the math for him as he was completely over charging us by $400. It was the most untrustworthy experience I’ve ever encountered. I guess I should have just walked out and gone somewhere else, but I came home with the ear rings and am hoping I didn’t make a huge mistake by dealing with them!
