These ladies are best.
It was best experience they made me feel so comfortable and welcome.
The atmosphere was so chill and calm.
Didn’t take long for my confidence to kick in. Ended up with the most stunning pictures.
My favourite had pride of place in my bed room over the bed 😍

I had a shoot with these amazing ladies a few weeks ago. They were so lovely and made me feel so welcome and at ease I even forgot at one point I had next to nothing on!! Johanna is such a skilled photographer she really knows how to draw attention away from what you don't like and turn it into something you love. The photos were just beautiful and I had a really difficult time choosing which ones to keep. If anyone is thinking about doing a shoot just give these amazing ladies a ring, one of the best things I've ever done 😍

Wow! I never thought I'd find myself doing something like this! I entered the competition feeling like I could maybe get the chance to see the new me after a fair amount of weight loss, but didn't honestly expect to win! But wow am I so grateful I did! The team are fabulous and become your biggest cheerleaders. Leading up to each stage of this amazing experience I became insanely nervous and was sure I would bottle it, but Ange and Joanna were so reassuring and built my confidence to do something I never thought I'd be able to do! I've always had great difficulty seeing myself in a positive way or believing compliments, I hide myself away as much as possible, but when the time came for my reveal, I was shocked and proud! I didn't think I could look like that! The emotion that took over me was unlike anything I have ever experienced, and for the first time in my life I have started like myself. For anyone who may be thinking they don't have the confidence or know how, just go for it, the lovely ladies will put your mind at ease and support you the entire journey! Best experience ever!

This year has been a really important one for me, I’ve been trying to love myself and throw myself into new experiences. The main thing I’ve struggled with is loving my body and feeling confident. This shoot has been the best thing for me!

The whole team made me feel so comfortable, and it was so much fun! I couldn’t help dancing along to the playlist as we were posing.

Honestly I’m so proud of myself for getting these done, it’s made me appreciate myself and my body so much more. And I couldn’t have done it without the wonderful team from Johanna Elizabeth, they made every step a joy and so easy right from the beginning. If you are nervous then please do not worry or hesitate, it’s a space full of love and empowerment.

Every time I feel anxious or forget the confidence inside I just look at these pictures. This experience has truly changed the way I look at myself, thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing, I was so nervous when I originally bucked up the courage to get my photos taken but so happy that I have done it would recommend going as it was so much fun and Jo was very calming and we had such a laugh that I relaxed instantly 😊

I wish there were more stars!! I entered this competition on a whim after my husband got sent to prison for domestic abuse….when i had the call and email to say id won, i was still apprehensive. This by far is the most, fun, empowering, emotional experience I've ever done. Every day my confidence has come back even more. This shoot is far better than any therapy or medication, I’ve had to endure. The staff are amazing from my consultation, make up, photo shoot….they're all amazing and i felt like a princess and most importantly….valued…i am someone. I personally want to thank everyone for all their hard work and their welcomeness, understanding and non judgmental attitude in my own personal journey. Xxx

Had the most incredible experience from start to finish with the amazing team at Johanna Elizabeth! Made me feel comfortable, welcomed and confident in myself. The team were always on hand to answer any questions in the lead up to my shoot and then on the day made sure my nerves were soothed and that I could be ready to have the most stunning photos taken. Would recommend these ladies to anyone who would listen!

This was my second shoot with Jo and it was just as amazing as I remembered! The atmosphere is both comforting and electric from the moment you step in the door! The whole team are so friendly and they all make the experience what it is. I honestly couldn’t recommend it more and I proudly display the stunning and empowering pictures all around my house! I can’t wait to do another shoot with these amazing ladies!!

I don’t normally write reviews but I really have to shout about how amazing the team at Johanna Elizabeth were for me!!! During my photoshoot they helped me feel a sense of confidence and beauty in my own body. I wasn’t sure I could pose correctly or look as incredible as other shoots Ive seen, but everyone was so warm and lovely that I quickly felt at home. I love my photos and would happily do it again in a heartbeat.

It was an incredible experience I will treasure for the rest of my life, thank you ladies 😭💛

Jo & Ange really made this a special day, from make up to the photo shoot and the photo reveal, it was so comfortable, relaxed and fun, I highly recommed this to all women it really promotes body confidence and makes you feel empowered

I don't know where to start! I came across Johanna Elizabeth at a really low point in my life. I'd just experienced a break up from a toxic relationship and had lost all my self esteem and confidence. I thought I'd never recover. Then I saw that JE was running a completion to win a shoot, and I signed up without thinking much of it and then forgot about it. When Ange emailed to tell me I'd won, I was pleased but also incredibly nervous. FROM THE GET GO, THESE WOMEN WERE MY BIGGEST CHEERLEADERS! they hyped me up, they kept in touch every step of the way, they made sure I had every bit of their help and encouragement. The Skype call to chat introduce themselves and answer any questions was a lovely touch. And to have their pinterest board available to draw inspiration from and see other women absolutely killing it at their shoots was brilliant.
The day of the shoot I was nervous again but my nerves vanished quickly and I was made to feed badass, sexy and completely comfortable surrounded by the team. Jo was amazing at making me feel comfortable in my skin. The shoot never felt rushed, we took our time and I felt pampered. I didn't expect to have as many photos taken as there was, which shows Jo really takes the time to get the perfect shot.
I have never liked a photo of myself before, I can always zoom in on something about myself that I hate. When I had my first call with Ange I told her I was worried I'd be the first one of her clients to not like their photos. Ange vehemently promised that I would love them, she asked me to trust her. I'm so pleased I did! She was right. I loved every single one of them! On reveal day I was blown away. I bought each and every photo.
I am so so pleased I went ahead with the shoot during a difficult time in my life, because I can look back at them now and see them as the beginning of a new, healthier, stronger chapter of my life. Johanna and her team are the epitome of women supporting women. I am so thankful I met them!

I was very lucky to win a shoot with Jo and the team in May and from consultation to the reveal session it exceeded my expectations.

The team were all amazing at making me feel relaxed and maintaining my excitement! We were laughing the whole way through and just having normal chats which really helped the process. I came out of the shoot feeling so confident and empowered. I've recommended it to all of my friends and I'll continue to recommend it to anyone who needs a confidence boost. An amazing experience provided by an amazing team. They completely understood the ‘who’ and the ‘why’ behind the person i am in front of the camera which meant that my pictures have topped the spot! I was stunned when i saw the pictures (and also grateful for the workout i got from posing!). Every effort is made to ensure you feel safe and secure and i absolutely was able to relax and just have fun. Really empowering environment and experience! If anything i love my body even more :)

Did my shoot last week with Jo and I'm so glad I did! She was so encouraging and comforting.

Decided that turning 30 was a good reason to do one because when I'm 40 will i think 'I wish I did one when I was 30'? Just as I find myself thinking I wish I did one when I was 20 🤣 In other words, just do it!

It is also a surprise gift for my husband and partner of 10 years. I brought his drum sticks along to make it personal

There are no words…I’m still in disbelief that this is really me in these photos! Is that really my bum?! Guess I’m doing all those squats for a reason 😂

The standing black and white image makes my heart sing. When I said I wanted to include my lifting belt in my shoot I got some funny reactions from people but not Jo. I love how powerful I feel when I do Strongwoman and this image gives me that powerful feeling softened with “oh wow is that really me?”

I won my shoot through Instagram and I’m so, so glad I took a chance because this experience was exactly what Jo and the team said it would be. Empowering, beyond belief.

I recently decided to separate from my husband after feeling we had drifted apart over the last few years. I was on holiday with friends in September and saw the opportunity to win a photoshoot on Instagram and decided to enter. I’ve always wanted to do one but been very self conscious of my body for years. I am slowly learning to love myself though. Incredibly I won a shoot and it was the best experience and I would 100% recommend anyone to go for it. Jo and Ange are the loveliest ladies and make you feel so special and comfortable and confident.
I was amazed by my photos and found it so hard to choose which ones to keep!! I never thought I would be so proud of my body 😊

From start to finish, my experience was outstanding. Ang is kind, personable, and welcoming. She will help you get excited, because you can tell she is truly excited for you. Jo is a firecracker, she knows what she's doing, she wants to help women feel sexy, and she delivers. I laughed so much during the shoot - I left on cloud 9. (Also, they know use amazing freelance makeup artists, shout out to Gemma, you're a star.)

To all the plus size women reading this, DO NOT WAIT until you've "lost those few pounds" or "gone down a size" - DO NOT WAIT. Go now. You are already stunning, sexy, worthy, and these people will show you that.
