Can’t get £99 they owe us. They’re crooks
We reserved a used Jaguar with a £99 deposit on the used Jaguar website with the car being at John Clark, Dundee on 1 February. When we decided not to purchase the car a few days later, we were told we would be refunded the £99 deposit. It is now 3 June and despite calling 6 times and speaking to several different people including two different sales managers, finance and admin with promises of a refund, we cannot get our money back. Be careful with this franchise. They are crooks.

Despite having problems initially with the brand new car, Neil could not have been more helpful. Credit to their company and their car brands
My salesman was David Cartmill who was very friendly and genuine. He was helpful and provided everything I needed. Car was presented beautifully and I am delighted with it. Showroom is immaculate and all others in the sales team were perfectly professional. It was everything I hoped for from a Jaguar/Range Rover dealership.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a Jaguar F-Pace from Caroline Dunlop at Pentland Jaguar Dundee, and I can confidently say the experience was outstanding from beginning to end.
From our very first interaction, Caroline demonstrated a high level of professionalism, product knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm. She took the time to fully understand what I was looking for in a vehicle and guided me through the available options with clarity and patience. Every question I raised — whether about specifications, finance options, part-exchange, or vehicle features — was answered thoroughly and transparently. At no point did I feel pressured; instead, I felt supported and well-informed, which made the decision-making process both comfortable and enjoyable.
Throughout the purchase, Caroline kept me regularly updated, ensured timelines were clear, and handled all aspects of the transaction efficiently.
What truly stood out was Caroline’s commitment to customer service. She very kindly came in on her day off to complete the vehicle handover. very poor customer service
Sales department had great customer service and very helpful, however the same cannot be said for the service department. I came in with 3 issues to discuss, none required jaguar to part with any money.
I got nothing but unhelpful answers and very poor service, I was made to feel like I burden for simply asking for services I have received without comment from other manufactures service departments. I really got the impression as I had not bought the car direct from them they were just not interested in helping. if you are interested in a jaguar please look elsewhere, very disappointing, I will be taking my business elsewhere in future.

Sadly the car I'd hoped to buy wasn't prepared to the standard I expected and the sale fell through. A week on and our deposit has also still to be returned.

Excellent buying experience
Gavin and Ryan provided an excellent service when I purchased my new car from the Dundee branch. A very smooth buying process from start to finish.
There was one minor issue with the valet carried out on the car but Ryan went over and above to rectify, a 1st class after sales service.

MT22 USE Jaguar Ipace
Vehicle viewed prior to collection very pleasant and welcoming. Car test driven and agreed to purchase highlighting two points of concern (condition of front tyres, driver door sill light).
Collection date delayed owing to V5 matters - this was not considered as a concern.
On collection the two points were not referred to and resulted in an exchange of views with two Pentland members of sales staff. The matter on tyres was fully discussed and conditionally agreed to progress, the driver door sill light had not been repaired - following investigation it was agreed the light would repaired in due course. The later remains outstanding. Setting up the Jaguar remote app could not be completed till the following week, I believe normally done on the day - this was not referred to.
Day of collection was marred by the above matters. Our reception was different to that of viewing the vehicle.

We understand how disappointing it must have been for the concerns you highlighted, particularly the front tyres and driver door sill light, not to have been fully addressed at the time of collection.
We also regret the delay with setting up the Jaguar Remote app and the lack of communication around this, as it is something we would usually ensure is completed on the day. Your feedback clearly shows that our handover process did not run as smoothly as it should, and we sincerely apologise for the frustration caused.
