Founded in London, Joy has always been about being unique and different. As well as selling principally women’s clothing we also stock a wide range of accessories, homeware and gifts as well; anything that fills the shopping list bringing Love, Life and Laughter to everyone in abundance!
16 years later we launched our own label Louche, which has always been designed by women for women, and fitted and refitted on different body types. We are proud of our fit which is a challenge, as there is no exact fit and measurements to any size in Europe and beyond. However, once you have established your size you will find you will be that size throughout our website, enabling you to shop with confidence. Special consideration is made to fabric selection we always go that extra mile to find the very best quality, feel and finish.
The emphasis on fit encompasses all our styles. Trousers are all made with an element of stretch, shirts often have hidden elastic waistbands and tops always have extra ease. Sweatshirts and jumpers are always cosy, colourful and comfortable. Whilst coats are always a bit of a statement, we tend to leave black coats to others!
We are particularly famous for our dresses which we have a large selection of mini, midi and maxi styles crafted in unique, quirky and ditsy prints, colourful checks and premium quality plains. Did we tell you that 90% of our dresses have pockets?
Our ethos regarding design and manufacture is to produce products that have lasting appeal and anything other than throw-away fashion! When we hear stories of mothers handing down styles to their daughters, it gives us great pleasure and is definitely a direction to true sustainability. We are working our way through the whole sustainable journey which isn’t without its caveats and hope in a year or so to be almost 70% sustainable.

I haven’t received my parcel
I haven’t received my parcel. Was marked as delivery but I never received the coat . I’ve sent an email but I never received answer they completely ignored me. Don’t buy from them anything!

We have issued a refund for your order. We had to investigate this matter with Royal Mail, as according to the records the delivery was made successfully. Unfortunately it seems as if someone else in your building has taken the parcel which should have been received by you.

Lost my package, bad customer service
Ordered a dress in my size that was recently restocked. Paid extra for fast delivery. After 5 days of hearing and receiving nothing, I emailed about where my item was. I received a generic response with a link that I was already given during the despatch email and that they will update me about where my package could be. I still never received such an update and emailed again asking what was happening, especially as I paid extra for speedy delivery. I then received a very paltry response basically explaining that the item was lost in transit and I’ll be given a full refund as an “apology”. The item I ordered is now sold out in my size. Really bad customer service and it’s a shame because it was my first time ordering from them, but I will not be ordering from them again. Really disappointing and frustrating experience.

We're very sorry that you didn't receive your parcel. This was handed over to our couriers and unfortunately it was lost in transit - rather than waiting for a trace on this which could have taken up to 30 days, which would have been inconvenient we immediately issued a refund in full for you. There's little we can do in these situations when a 3rd party has lost an item beyond issuing a refund in full.

Returns Process Not Good
My order value was £37.95 but only got £28.05 back. Most retailers nowadays do free shipping and returns but Joy charged £5.95 for shipping and then another £4 to return.
Needless to say I won’t be buying from Joy again, another regular customer gone I’m afraid Joy!

Hi Aamir,
I'm sorry about your experience. For the shipping charge I can see that you chose the express delivery option. We have free shipping for orders over £75 on our standard delivery service but this doesn't apply to express shipping as that is our one day delivery service. Do due to increased courier fees there is a £3.95 charge for returns which is detailed in the returns slip.

Easy ordering on line. Good quality product.
Easy ordering on line. Delivery made in predicted timescale. Well packaged and no damage to my order. I bought 3 artificial succulent plants set in gravel in glass pots for £10 + p&p. They are just the right size for my kitchen windowsill, good quality and they don't look artificial. Very pleased with my purchase.
