Regular communication and updates on what is happening and possible solutions. The deal took a long time to complete and they were always ready to carry out tasks required even at short notice. Aaron was great and is always available to provide updates. When he was not available, someone else from the team followed up to make sure there were no delays.

Had to find out our buyer pulled out of the sale by us calling our sale solicitor last Thursday. Our buyer emailed the sale conveyancer on the 26/27th July to let them know they weren’t going ahead with the sale. Apparently she tried calling on that day but I did not answer, and proceeded to say ‘this is the problem. You don’t answer the phone’ No attempt of emailing us this important news or calling my daughter who is also helping us with our sale as I work irregular hours. Just one attempt of a call. In fact my daughter sent an email to her on the 24th and 26th with a signed document and info about allocation of funds from the sale in which she did not respond. Only our purchase solicitor I would say has been good at responding to emails and any questions that we had. But because our chain has fallen through I’ve decided to use a firm closer to home and have to start over again putting my house back on the market. What I’m not happy about is the fact that I’ve paid for the file opening fee and initial payment and I won’t be able to get that refunded. I’ve paid nearly £600 for nothing and this has caused me so much distress.

Dealt with Katie and a couple of others at JS Law over the 14 months during our house sale / purchase journey. I spoke to Katie at least once a week for updates, and she was always friendly and fought for the answers we needed. Now we have moved into our forever home, I feel a little lost NOT speaking to Katie every week. Our delays and problems were not JS Law's fault, buyer/s dropping out, seller changing their mind and other solicitors in the chain. I would fully recommend them, and use them again.

Where do I even begin. My experience with JS Law has been exceptional, and that is entirely down to Jo, who handled both the sale and purchase of my properties. From the very start, she was pleasant, professional and an absolute joy to work with.
Jo explained everything clearly and never made anything feel like a problem. She always returned my calls, was genuinely great to speak with, promptly responded to my emails and consistently kept me informed about every stage of both transactions. Nothing was ever too big or too small for her to deal with.
There was one short period where my calls and emails went unanswered and it was difficult to get through to anyone, but Jo was away at the time and contacted me as soon as she returned, which says a lot about her commitment and the kind of person she is.

I would like to highly recommend Nicole Daldry, from a sales progressor perspective, the most important aspect of a smooth transaction is a communicative solicitor and one that is willing to work with the agent. Nicole stepped in to a transaction 3/4 of the way through and she took control, made sure all the legal work was progressed and worked with me to ensure exchange and completion took place.
