BUYER BEWARE!!!

I made the mistake of not researching reviews on this company. I bought a brand new JVC DLA-NP5 projector which had a bad processor. The rep that I bought it through had to submit a warranty claim and I was given a shipping label to send it to National Pro Video to be fixed. It's going on the start of 6 weeks now and I still can't get a clear answer as to how long they will be holding my projector hostage trying to fix it, claiming the "parts are on order"! I spoke with one warranty rep who said that I should have gotten a replacement unit and not have to wait for my new projector to be fixed which is what I would have expected, but some manager sitting behind a desk somewhere made the decision they won't replace it and that I just had to wait for it to be fixed. Meanwhile I have had to cancel 2 events planned for use of my new theater that I just spent $70,000 on. I demanded they call me to give me the why and the reason I'm just out a projector right now. I was told I would receive a call and it's been 12 days now and still no call. I have followed up 3 times and still can't get any straight answers.

This company's customer service and quality control is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I will definitely never buy from JVC ever again.

I had a Bose warranty claim just a few months ago and Bose had it back to me in 3 days! WOW, that was amazing and they kept me up to date on everything via text messages! They set the standard and JVC is the worst example.

JVC is apparently now the Walmart of electronics even (at least that's how they are treating their customers) though I didn't get Walmart prices and spent thousands of dollars on my projector!

JVC Roku TV LT-24CR230…

I bought a JVC Roku TV LT-24CR230 24inch from Currys. It's absolute garbage. The sound is very tinny like a cheap transistor radio. Had to rig up a PC sound system to make it audible. The OS has slowed to a crawl after 2 months. The Roku platform is restrictive. You have to create a Roku account and add information just to get the TV to work. More info harvesting. AWFUL. The live pause feature only works for about 20minutes, if the screen saver comes on, it forgets everything. I had a JVC boombox when I was young, it was the envy of all with the quality of sound. What happened to you JVC. Your products are now a waste of good resources and rate below garbage. Do NOT buy any of their TVs!!!! You'll regret it.

Absolutely shit tv,slow unresponsive,glitchy, screen turns blank, changes from app your watching to different one,remote unresponsive, picture freezes, spend more time unplugging and plugging back in than watching it,never hated a object more than this tv can't wait to put hammer to it. will NEVER BUY ANYTHING JVC AGAIN.

JVC smart tv.

I bought a JVC smart tv a number of years ago and was happy with my purchase at first. But a few years later this tv started playing up by not switching on when the on/off switch is pressed and also when changing channels the screen freezes up and you have to wait until it comes on again. So I won't be buying a JVC again.

Worst TV ever

Worst TV ever! Had 55" and got blank screen sent it for repair under warranty. Didn't even come back.

Boy I was dumb and bought another 65" instead which dies in less then 2 years after purchase. So yeah no warranty.

I will never buy this pile of crap tv brand again. It's full internet of it. Better to add 100 and buy LG or Samsung as before...

I bought your ear podes and in a period of 1 month they broke 2 times, I returned them and they gave me a pair of phones that lasted 2 weeks, I went to exchange them and now I have to wait a month for them to be returned or the money, ridiculous!

Worst TV ever

Worst TV ever. Doesn't do anything you want it to. Regularly screen goes blank when changing channels and have to unplug to get it going again. Had for about 3 years but not been good from day one. Looking forward to taking to the tip and smashing it up. Would never buy a JVC product again.

Streaky screen

Having purchased a JVC TV Model LT-50CF890 thirty two months ago the screen turned streaky from the bottom to the middle of the screen,resulting in a poor picture. It is the worst tv I have purchased, no more JVC products for me. Don't waste your money.

Screen completley gone

Got a JVC Tv 2 years ago and the screen has almost completley gone. Turned on the tv one day and the whole right side was streaky and white it then spread into the middle of the tv after another few weeks and now the whole top half of the screen is gone and its now spreading to the bottom. Only a matter of time until this whole tv screen is gone. My brother also owns a JVC tv and has told me the exact same has happened his too that there is lines going across the screen. This problem has made the tv completley unable to be used.

GUI and settings unreliability

My mom bought 1 of these Android tv's and she wants me to set it up. to get all the channels ordered, fernsehliste_at didn't showed any model and showed us (All models) instead. and the whole list didn't worked at all wich is in this case not fernsehliste_at fault because other tv's that isn't from JVC works great. the GUI was not programmed correctly, channels are missing when you customize the channel and orientations that you selected (it skips from 6 to 11) it rarely noticed my USB stick when I tried the tv list sorting, long story short, my mom bought a TV that is 110% E-Waste and a waste not only my time, but also her money

TV is usless

Tv isn't even 2 yrs old, constantly loses WIFI signal even though the router is in the same room. Only an unplug or full reset will let it connect again.
SW is up to Date but tv is just useless.
Don't buy a JVC smart tv, it's not very smart.

40" JVC Fire TV. Good/Bad in equal measures!

When it works, it works great. Fantastic picture on HD channels and PS4 with HDR support. Colours/pictures are crisp, sharp and clear and the sound has a decent volume and dialogue is easy to understand. The downside to this is the UI. Very slow to load the Freeview guide and the aerial feed drops out at least once a day ( a software update could possibly fix this but there hasn't been an update since I purchased the TV). WiFi connectivity is slow/cable connection is better. On a plus note, I have an Aura Humax plugged into the TV and whilst using this the TV works fantastically. For the price I payed for it I can't really complain. If JVC don't release a software update and the TV eventually fails I won't be buying JVC again...

Really bad andoid jvc tv

Really bad andoid jvc tv. keeps losing sound and strangely even on aerial feed it goes out of lip sync and only complete reboot corrects issues. will have to recycle and buy another tv but not JVC
