It has really gone downhill the past…
It has really gone downhill the past two years and this year especially. The teachers are overloaded with 500+ students so there is little to no personal contact, no way to get individual help, and it takes weeks to months for assignments to get graded. Also there are no longer outings, which has been a huge disappointment. It’s like the leadership is more worried about profit than hiring enough teachers to provide quality education. If my daughter was not headed into her senior year, we would be looking for new opportunities and I’m no longer recommending ALVA to friends looking for virtual school options.

Don't change anything...try to get everything situated for the big tests before hand...this ACAP TEST TAKING HAS BEEN FRUSTRATING..THEN ERIEL DRAGG TOOK 4 PARTS TODAY AND IT DIDN'T SHOW UP ON YOU END... OVERALL 5🌟

Great School and Wonderful teachers
The teachers actually care about your child progressing and learning that being prepped for testing all the time. They make sure the kids and learning coaches know they are there for help and respond quickly to emails and return calls. I am so happy we found Alabama Virtual Academy it changed my daughter's life and academic life.
