K12 - Digital Academy of Florida Opiniões 

I registered my child for the digital academy of Florida. Throughout the entire experience the teachers were active and attentive to the needs of my child. Though every need was not met immediately. It was understandable because there were many students in this program.
This past graduation season my child graduated. The digital academy didn't do a great job at organizing the ceremony. I have another child that was a student in Florida Virtual School. That ceremony was very well organized and was done nicely. If K12 could collaborate with FLVS on making there ceremonies run smoother K12 would have little to no complaints from me. I will also be doing this program a disservice by not mentioning that something needs to be done about having easier contact to guidance counselors. It was incredibly hard for my child to get help when needed.
Overall, despite the ups and downs that comes with any school. I would chose this path over and over again. I'm grateful that I learned about this institute and that I chose to enroll my child. I hope that anyone else who has a child will consider this path for their child's education.

Teachers are responsive

This school was terrible, they make promises that are not fulfilled. Communication is the worst as I’ve sent emails to administrators as well as the registrar and testing coordinator with zero response. In addition, this school also withholds/steals the internet refund checks that are disbursed to students. I Do Not recommended.

Update: K12 initially responded by simply acknowledging the lack of response but completely bypassed my other concerns regarding the refund check issued. 3 edits later they say that they will reach out to me. I will come back with an update.

I love the school.The teachers they're so kind and caring.They're so intuitive of the needs of my children.The curriculum is very intense.Especially designed for my kids learning.I couldn't be happier and I'm honored to be a part of the DOA family.

The teachers and curriculum are great! My son has the challenge and flexibility he needs.

I truly believe k12 assist students to success with our being bully in real school. In K12 students feels more comfortable to learn in their own space with our the challenge of others student while in real school. K12 is the right school for those students who are low key.

The school was very helpful for my child. The teacher were fantastic.

I love how flexible my child schedule was and how the teachers are always helpful and always willing to go above and beyond to help my child understand anything new they were teaching. I love how the teachers email links and different video that helped my child understand different assignments. This school has help my child mental and physical. He was nonverbal his kindergarten year and now going to the second grade he can hold a full conversation. He understands so much better his school understood my concerns and help me get him into speech Therapy which is also done online thru school so it's very easy and convenient for our family I love the program so we'll I will soon have my other child attending kindergarten this upcoming 2025 school year. I love this program I have told so many parents above it and I love to see a whole neighborhood of kids school books and etc be delivered right to our door. The only thing that now I figured out I don't like is I wish at the end of the year the return items would be the only items listed on the list. I hate going threw the list see the items that are marked keep I wish the list was just a return these items please list it would make it so much easier. And now that I will have two children in the programs I hope they come up with a better return items list. Other than that run don't walk to sign your kids up. I also wish that the apps kids need to use for testing was uploaded on the laptop so children can access it much easier. It's honestly alot of steps to do and the teachers done have time to go back to explain how to get to a certain area when it's testing day.

We love how the staff is all about the students and will always make time for them. We didn't have that same experience in a brick school.

I love the flexibility! The teachers are nice and helpful! They respond to questions fairly quickly. This year there were two in person events that was wonderful! My daughter really enjoyed both events. The curriculum is helpful, but there are days that can be overwhelming. Overall, we love Digital Academy of Florida and look forward to next school year!

They have some awesome teachers as well as helping your child reach there potential. We're they can work at there on Pace if needed.

Our experience with the school has been very wonderful, the teachers, the counselors, every single person who was interacting with us are wonderful, and very professional, it’s simply the best school for us, ‘’thank you so much”.

My son does better here than anywhere else.

My son was unenrolled several times this year due to "missing immunization record" even though we sent it in several times and got confirmation, then the week he was unenrolled, they reset all of his progress and he basically had to start over, barely passing for the year. Its homeschool, NO immunizations should ever be required!

Me encanta la atención de los maestros, La comunicación entre maestros y padre. Mi hija tiene IEP y ellos son diligentes en revisarlo al año. Los materiales escolares llegan a tiempo y en buen estado. Mi hija está súper feliz. La coordinación para los exámenes del estado excelente. 100 % recomendable.
