A cleaner arrived, disappeared to get cleaning products (why wouldn't you come with us) then came back in the afternoon and did a bad job.

We had been assured that the clean would be finished by 1pm but instead didn't finish till 10/11pm.

The clean was then bad so we had to get the cleaners to return - over a week later. In terms of service, you can never get someone on the phone and they take AGES to respond.

Would never book again. Avoid.

I strongly recommend that you do not get any services from this company, or do not cooperate with them in any way, they are completely unprofessional and scammers.

I worked with this company as a carpet cleaner and after 70 days they have not paid me any money. There is no doubt that this company is run by incompetent people and they are scammers. Avoid any cooperation with this company.

booked a service, took payment in advance. On the morning texted them to know where the cleaner was and I was asked straight away if there was another time that suits me, so clearly nobody was coming. After we agreed for another time that day, but guess what?? 1h30 before I got a text to say that the cleaner was not coming and that she would have the following day, when i was not available. over a week and I am waiting for a refund!

Instructions not followed and when confronted, they said they would take me to a small claims court. I asked them for a resolution, and was happy to pay if they had done the job i asked for. Rude and unprofessional... and don't clean!

If there was a 0 star I'd choose that. 1 is far to generous.
Several times dealt with this company but they've cancelled more times than I've had the house clean.
Little communication or the cleaner cancels and you only realise this is when no one turns up. when you communicate with them they say they will find out and ignore you till the next day offering an alternative day. So you waste your time waiting.
Its common practice with this company as its happened to me several times.
I will definitely never recommend or use them again. Shocking.

Pathetic service please avoid. I hardly ever write reviews but couldnt help myself. I was in such urgent need of cleaning that even after reading all the bad reviews i booked them and they assured me that the cleaner would come. As all the other reviews mentions the cleaner did not arrive on time and when i reached out to management, he actually told me that i have a braised opinion because i have read the bad reviews so they are cancelling the cleaning service's basically i was left in the last minute without any cleaning. Absolutely unprofessional and cannot be trusted. Please do not waste your time and most importantly they are not trust worthy

I have paid for an end of tenancy clean with Key2Clean that was suppose to happen on the 16th of October 2021. The cleaner never showed up, I called them, emailed them, contacted them on Facebook - all in vain. I had to find a different company and pay them 3 times as much on the day. Key2Clean has only got back to me about 3 weeks ago, apologised and said that they will refund the £140. I’ve been chasing them now this whole time, they lied that they transferred the money - I haven’t received anything. And now they completely disappeared - they don’t answer any calls or messages again. So they took my money, I received no service and I will be taking this further. Won’t recommend this company to anyone or at least don’t pay them in advance. Real disappointment.

Booked them to clean a one bed flat when our tenants were moving out and paid online. I called them to check everything was in order to find out they hadn’t even allocated anyone for that day!! They had to then ‘find’ some cleaners for that day.

The people they found were quite clearly not professionals.. turned up an hour late so we had to wait inside the flat until they arrived. The cleaning was supposed to take 5 hours but they did it in 2 hours. Which would have been fine but we had an independent evaluator review the flat and she said the clean was inadequate and was not to a standard of a deep clean. The freezer hadn’t been cleaned, there was hair in the plain hole and dust on the top of the door frames. She took photos of all of these things to show us it was so embarrassing.

Owner has refused a refund and offered to come back and do another clean weeks later when new tenants have already moved in. Why they I would want their service again?!

The whole business also seemed so strange two men giving the orders while the ladies cleaned. No correct uniform or which rings alarm bells to me for these women.

Please don’t use this company if you want a good clean. They come out as the cheapest for that part of London but it’s not worth the hassle. If you want to go that cheap you might as well do it yourself I wish I had now :(

Please avoid using this cleaning company. Recurrent cancellations, cleaners not showing up and when they do only for a terrible job or just to work for a fraction of the time they suppose to. The management team is even worse.

Failed to clean. Refused to give a refund. Damaged items within the property. Turned up 1hr + late.

After a month of ignoring me they have offered to re-clean after I had gone elsewhere.

Not worth the hassle time or agro. Use a local company that cares about their reputation

I have used Key2Clean (Maid2Clean) twice now. The first time I had a lady clean our newly acquired home. After leaving her in the property to my work, I returned after a couple of hours to discover that nothing was done! She knew that was the case and worked the rest of the day with me watching her constantly and even returned the next morning to work those 2 hours that were not done. That should have been a warning sign for me but unfortunately I returned as a customer thinking it was just a hiccup.

The second time I used these guys was for an end of tenancy clean which was not cheap at £140 after promotion discount. This time it was a male cleaner and he set about cleaning the oven whilst I had to go to work. When I returned 6 hours later, the cleaner had left the property and after moving my wife and 18 month old baby we quickly discovered that apart from the oven being wiped clean and the floor being vacuumed only (not wiped), nothing else was done! Within 5 minutes of walking bare foot, my wife's feet turned black from dirt. I contact the cleaning team via WhatsApp and I was assured that someone would come the next morning to clean the flat. It has been a month and no one has turned up and my money gone. I would strongly advise you don't try them out. By the way I tried to search for them on Google to leave a Google review and guess what....they have removed themselves from there when they definitely were there previously. AVOID!
