Kinrara Distillery  Opiniões

I've been here every time I'm up in Aviemore, sadly that is only once a year. Its a beautiful little distillery with amazing gin. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the shop is gorgeous and their gin is my absolute favourite. Definitely a must to visit!

They are very experienced and know what they are talking about

Booked a gin tasting to celebrate a birthday and we had a fantastic time with Lorna. She brought the tasting experience to life and we didn’t expect to walk away knowing so much about gin (and the fantastic women behind Kinrara).

So friendly and made our dog feel right at home!

This is a lovely venue to visit - both in the shop and to enjoy a tasting.
Trish made sure our tasting experience was very enjoyable. It was informative, fun and the range of gins were excellent. Our group of eight thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Lorna joined us at the end for a friendly chat and both made us very welcome.

Fantastic experience. The distillery is unique and I was glad to hear that you cannot buy their products in any supermarkets as it would take away the magic of visiting such a beautiful and well presented area. Lorna the owner and presenter of the gin tasting experience was very informative and lovely. You can tell she has passion in her work and likes to see the joy her work brings to people's faces. Highly encourage people to taste the gins, the artist bottles that are special edition were definitely thoughtfully planned out and designed in a way to bring a sense of highland. Very nice touch!

Excellent tasting experience at the Distillery. Very personal and informative. Lorna was a great host and guide talking us through not just the distilling process but describing the importance of finding the right mixer for your personal taste. Will definately return. Oh and the Gins were delicious.

Fantastic gin tasting and very friendly informative and professional staff. The 7 ladies enjoyed their visit. Highly recommend

We had a fantastic time at Kinrara gin distillery we were made very welcome along with our dog on arrival and our host Tricia was fantastic.
Our journey started in the tasting room where the process of gin making was explained.
Tricia then went through the kinrara range of gins which was fascinating the art work on the bottles is stunning, I won’t waste the story of them I’ll leave that for when you visit. After the tour it was into the shop to buy our favourite bottles after the tasting
This is a family run business with a great award winning 🥇 product that they will be proud of

Had a fab gin tasting experience at Kinrara Distillery. Trish and Lorna were great; they were knowledgeable, interesting and a lot of fun. Our visit was part of hen weekend activities and was such a great thing to have included and the gins were fantastic! If you are visiting the area, include a trip to Kinrara in your plans

Hi, we had an amazing time at our tasting, Trisha is such a laugh along with her work wife. She made us feel so welcome & explained everything brilliantly. We have been to many tastings over the years but Trisha's was far the best, made us both feel relaxed & we really enjoyed ourselves & will definitely be back with friends.
Once again thank you for an amazing experience.
Thanks Amber & James

Excellent, interesting and fun gin tasting experience. Definitely worth a visit. Trish was a fantastic host and introduced us to lots of different ways of drinking gin. Great wee girly afternoon for mums and daughters on their family trip to Aviemore. Kinrara Gin is now a favourite.

We want along for a gin tasting for a friends birthday. It was fantastic. Gins r all lovely, Britney who was our host was such a lovely girl who did a fantastic job of explaining all about each gin and the process of how it’s all done. Tbh all the staff members were warm and welcoming. It’s very cheap for what u get. Highly recommend 🥰

We had a fantastic afternoon gin tasting at Kinrara with Britney and Lorna. Such a fun, friendly, personal and relaxed experience. We give you 100 stars! Thank you!

A nice small distillery with some amazing gins and lots of passion for there art. Well wort a visit and a taste. For sure would visit agen at some point. As only point id say they could do with having a little cart that tells you what goes well as a mixer with what gin since it alot to remember other wise.

Our trip to the distillery for the gin tasting experience was excellent. Trish was lovely and chatty from the minute we arrived! The gins were delicious and it was great to hear all about how it was made and the small team who run the distillery. The shop and tasting room were also so homely and inviting! The bar was also great for an extra wee tipple of our favourite gin for the road! Thank you again for a wonderful experience!

A fantastic tasting experience. Trish is a huge asset full of knowledge and humour.
We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon

Visited on 9th January 2025 with the area under a blanket of snow and a blue sky. A very warm welcome awaited! We were received and expertly guided by Britney, who seems to be a real jewel in the crown of this fantastic company. We were also fortunate enough to meet the distiller - in action - as well as the owner who came over during our visit. Having been thoroughly impressed by the award winning products, we did of course purchase from the shop afterwards! As driver, I was treated to tea and shortbread and a gift set of miniature of my choice plus mixer. During the tasting experience, I was still allocated 5 sample measures with sound advice to just dab a drop from fingertip to back of hand in order to study the properties. Effectively, my partner got double! I have to say even the mixers are first class - they enhance some of the (already amazing) gins. Other gins you can enjoy meat, such is the smooth taste. So impressed by Kinrara in every way - and of course we purchased one of the award winning bottles at the very end from the gift shop as we said our goodbyes. Best of luck, David & Christine

What really made this experience great was that £14 felt more like £140! This was my first tasting/distillery experience and WOW! we all left laughing, filled with knowledge of all the various gins and mixers! and we had a really good time. Our host was Trisha and she was brilliant! A no nonsense Bonnie Lassie, with a fantastic knowledge of the Kinrara gins and which tonics/mixers complimented the fantastic gins they distill. i cannot rate this distillery and the tasting highly enough! if you are within 100 miles, I highly recommend the visit! P.S the tasting experience was so good i spent £170 in the shop! oh and please buy the Cairngorm Whiteout Gin! it is an exceptional gin and Kinrara donate £5 per bottle to the Cairngorm mountain rescue team which helped to develop this particular gin.love this place
