MSM getting it wrong
This site isn't anything like what a lot of the media is trying to say. I lurked on and off for awhile, reading the stuff on the Vic case mostly (as court cases interest me), and honestly, it's like 4chan in its audience, if 4chan required registration to participate and people had usernames. There wasn't a concerted effort to try to cause people to commit suicide (the one that widely gets touted has no official information from the Japanese government, who would have the death reported as they report deaths of foreigners on an official site, from that time period that would match the person), and any 'harassment' that they supposedly cause is probably not a concerted effort. Knowing the internet, whoever pull the crap with Greene just used the name of the site as a scapegoat. The "doxing" of Keffals was something she more or less did herself (she posted her hotel info). There might be a few bad eggs on the site, but Null has never allowed actual violent speech - he bans people who go too far.
Honestly, no worse than 4chan or, in many ways, Twitter. People are just more raw and less likely to take crap there. Free speech should take precedent, even if you disagree with what some people may say.
