I own a North American Saturn Astra/Vauxhall Astra/Opel Astra and the muffler/silencer needed to be replaced. There are no options in Canada, so I ordered the Klarius muffler from ebay.uk. Once installed, the muffler is very tinny and when you accelerate quickly it lets out several loud "cracks", which is definitely not the sound I was going for. Honestly, it is only slightly better than the bad one I replaced. Overall this is not a quality product - cheaply constructed and noisy.

I work in a busy garage and have often been supplied klarius replacement exhaust parts to repair customers vehicles. I have to say that the quality and presentation of these parts is extremely poor. I have never had a part fit correctly or nicely and have even had to re weld joins that have been missed completely. Not only this, i have also found that any heat shields attatched to the system are made completely useless wen the bolt brackets are in the wrong position. I actually dread it whenever i see there parts turn up and generally advise to stay clear of this companies products.

I purchased a Klarius Exhaust. Turned out to be poor quality and badly manufactured - It lasted 7 weeks before failing. The inlet pipe came away from the box because the weld had not penetrated the thin outer skin and the mounting area on the box itself was clean and free of weld metal except for a centimetre or so. it is surprising that it held in place as long as it did. I attempted to claim on the two year warranty and attached photos but was met by silence from the vendor. so I contacted Klarius. Their National Customer service manager said he would get back to me but he did not.

Had a Klarius exhaust fitted to my vehicle 2.5 years ago.
Just been to another garage and it’s had to be replaced
The material had cracked between the silencer box and pipe.
