I arranged a full service on site a Cluny cooker. The service man was on time, extremely efficient, very clean and tidy, and also exceptionally friendly, and positive about what is quite an old cooker

We have had our Lacanche Cluny for 23 years now and wouldn’t change it for anything else. It still looks great after pretty much daily use and we have only had it serviced 2 or possibly three times so it is a well made product that stands the test of time. Yes, they are expensive to buy but as you can see from my comments and those of other reviewers, it lasts forever! We have just had a premier service and the engineer, Graeme, was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing so I knew nothing was being done that wasn’t necessary. Cannot recommend him, and Lacanche cookers in general, enough and as I said, I would never have anything else.

Kieran came out to do a service on my 19 year old oven. He was amazing and my oven is like brand new. Great service and a fantastic product. Lovely to have something that lasts for once! Will never have another brand of oven again. Thank you all.

The Lacanche is a real statement piece, beautiful French styling, timeless details and so much character. It takes a little getting used to because it’s a proper chef’s oven, and you do have to spend some time getting to know it. But that’s part of the charm: it makes cooking feel like an occasion, even when you’re making something simple. A little French country magic and a beautiful centrepiece for the kitchen.

Absolutely delighted with our Lacanche Cluny, it looks stunning and has taken our cooking to the next level. The quality is brilliant and it is the wow factor of our new kitchen.

Our Lacanche Classic is as much a feature of the kitchen as it is a cooker. It looks absolutely stunning and has a reassuring sense of quality about everything it does.

More importantly, it performs beautifully. Quiet, consistent and completely effortless, it simply gets on with the job, day after day.

When buying a brand-new Lacanche cooker, I reasonably expected it to arrive in perfect, undamaged condition. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

No customer should have to pay full price for a damaged item and then wait around ten months for the issue to be resolved. During that time, three replacement parts also arrived damaged, making the entire process extremely frustrating.

I was told that my case would be reviewed once the defect had been resolved. However, the review did little more than state the obvious and offered no satisfactory response to the experience I had endured.

No discount was offered to reflect the fact that I had paid full price for a damaged cooker. It still aggravates me that a brand-new product was supplied in this condition and that resolving the issue took so long.

Lacanche presents itself as a premium brand, but the quality control and after-sales service I received fell well below the standard I expected.

Further to your response saying compensation was offered - the offer was for damage to the door at time of delivery - not for the amount of time there after that it took to fix a damaged part of a new cooker. There was no offer of compensation for having to wait so long for a repair and be let down 3 times on this matter. Your promise was that at the end of the matter it would be reviewed, your review was no more than a letter of apology with no real substance or resolve to the matter.

The engineer was firstly friendly and was happy to answer my continuous questions. He gave me confidence in my oven (which I acquired with a house purchase) He was thorough and very knowledgeable. I couldnt have expected any more from him.

The service experience for our Lacanche range cooker was brilliant - the booking team clearly communicated everything and then the engineer Graeme came to our house in rural wales and checked everything thoroughly and gave us useful tips and tricks!

About 8 years ago, we bought a Cluny from friends and, while we had building work carried out, it just sat in a damp part of the house. We used it afterwards and then it started tripping out the fuseboard. Fearing the worst, we booked a Premier Service (very straightforward although we are in Devon) and the engineer (Chris) turned up on time and was excellent explaining faults and correcting them all. He clearly had no interest in 'over-selling' and advised that the oven dates from the 1990s. It is now working far better than before and has been safety checked. The bill, bearing in mind travel and the expertise was totally acceptable. Thank you.

Absolutely delighted with the service from Lacanche. I have a new Saulieu oven and one of the lights wasn’t working on delivery. They came out in a flash and the engineer was possible the nicest man I’ve ever met! Nothing was too much trouble. He fixed the light in a second then spent 20 minutes showing me how to use the oven - I was a bit daunted by it - and giving me tips for maintenance. All whilst making a fuss of my high maintenance dogs.
I’ve just had a new kitchen and if I’d got this level of service from everyone it would have been a much happier experience!

Had a premier service on our Cluny and the technician that visited was excellent…. Took time to fully explain what he was undertaking at each stage and offered hints and tips to obtain the best operation from gas hob rings and the dual electric ovens…. he gave excellent advice on oven performance and his input changed our ongoing use…. He was polite and extremely courteous throughout the over 3 hour visit…. Great service all round

The Lacanche is a joy to cook on. It bakes wonderful cakes, feels every bit like a professional oven, and looks absolutely glorious. I couldn’t be happier with it.

I’ve honestly never experienced customer service like it. During quality control they spotted what was apparently a tiny nick on the oven door that was imperceptible to the naked eye. A month later, an engineer came to replace the entire door. That level of care and attention to detail just extraordinary.

Fantastic company. Julian came to service my 18 year old oven that had never been serviced. I paid for the full service and I’m so pleased I did as he found a small gas leak. He replaced worn parts. He was very polite, knew exactly what was wrong with the oven and fixed it. A good old fashioned company with built to last ovens and an old fashioned customer service where you speak with a human, from start to end. Excellent service. Thank you

Theo Clarke arrived on time to service my Lacanche cooker. He was knowledgeable, polite, respectful, professional and efficient. He made the whole experience very easy. I’d highly recommend Theo and Lacanche.

Absolutely wonderful first class service. Slot booked, engineer phoned 30 mins prior to confirm his arrival time. He did a thorough job and after 25 years our oven is still going strong.
I know Lacanche ovens are expensive, but really it is such a high quality product and I still appreciate the design!

Engineer was amazing - super friendly and sorted the issue very quickly, even insisting he clean up before he left. Will absolutely use again.

Engineer arrived as agreed and was very helpful in discussing and sorting issues. Service carried out as expected including some minor repairs. Communication skills excellent. Left the cooker and kitchen looking good. All in all an excellent service.

Beautiful looking cookers but weve had to have ours fixed twice in 8 years parts call out charges are very expensive...wont be buying another .
