Living in a property managed by this letting company was an extremely frustrating experience. From the start, communication was a complete mess. We were often left out of important emails, meaning we had no idea what was going on with the property. Even when we reached out to get answers, we were either ignored or had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for a response.
To make matters worse, multiple staff members would contact us about the same issue, with no coordination between them. It was clear no one in the company talked to each other, and there was no consistency or accountability.
Maintenance, especially during emergencies, was handled disgracefully. On several occasions, we were left with water pouring through the ceiling, and black mould appeared more than once. Despite reporting these serious issues, the company's response was painfully slow. We were left in unsafe conditions while they dragged their feet.
When we did manage to speak to someone, they were largely unhelpful and seemed indifferent to the situation. There was no sense of urgency or concern for the tenants' wellbeing.
I would strongly advise against renting through this company. Their lack of communication, slow response to emergencies, and poor organisation made for a stressful and unacceptable experience.
They need to start caring more about their clients.
When we moved, had mould in the house and had to deal with it ourselves. Had a leak, which I reported multiple of times, but all we had was a person coming in and doing the same job over and over (which clearly didn’t solve the problem, as the leak kept coming into the kitchen still.)
Had problems with the deposit, they took their sweet time trying to come to a conclusion, which we were still not happy about, and when we tried to negotiate, they were all rude and not understanding at all. Told us they will call us back, but never did, and even if we called a multiple times, they just kept saying “someone will call back, they are now busy” (that took whole week of them saying the same thing over and over). In addition, we had to file our own process for the deposit, since they said they started it, but on DPS records there was none, so much more delay (moved out on 27th April 2024, took over a month to do it properly). Wrote a review on Google, but clearly they don’t want it on there since they want to show how “good” they are. But whatever you see on reviews, do not trust, because all this company did was bring stress over and over to us.
Dishonest and greedy. Very unprofessional then making up stories to cover up for this unprofessionalism.
Avoid this agent.

I've been renting a flat through this company for almost 5 years and have been continuously let down. The fact that they have had such a high turnover of staff means that nothing is dealt with and you essentially have to chase them if you have a problem, yet when they want money or increase rents then they are straight in touch. I've had personal items damaged due to numerous leaks and have had to pay for heaters and dehumidifiers. I had to threaten legal action simply for them to carry out upkeep and repairs. I've been lied to and told that things are being looked into and nothing ever happens, they just get new staff in who you have to start from scratch with. Zero consistency, zero trust. If I could rent with any other agent I would but I don't have that option. Avoid at all costs whether a tenant or a landlord. (My parents rented a property through them and promptly changed after discovering numerous issues). A shame as using a local independent company would always be my preference but there is no responsibility taken to help tenants. I'm actually hugely out of pocket due to their lack of support and maintenance. Avoid at all costs
Failed to put my security deposit into a tenancy deposit scheme and then refused to return the money at the end of the tenancy. When it was pointed out that the guy was effectively breaking the law, he made a slew of ad-hominem remarks and closed the conversation saying "see you in court".
Furthermore, the let was disgusting, reeked of damp, there was mould growing over walls in the shower and bedroom, and the letting agents would not do anything to fix the issue. I eventually got the council involved who re-homed me due to the poor condition of the property.
Trust me, this is just the tip of the iceberg with these liars and thieves. Steer well clear.
These guys are just liars say one thing, get caught out, say another thing and get caught out and repeat
Good quality service from Stephen, very professional and responsive to e-mails. Liked his pro-active approach to renting out our property. I would highly recommend if you're looking for an upcoming estate agent in Preston to manage your property.
