Layered Lounge has transformed my…

Layered Lounge has transformed my Christmas décor this year. The ceramic trees, and candle houses are absolutely beautiful and feel so unique. Friends and family keep asking where everything’s from. Gorgeous products, excellent service and a brand I’ll definitely keep returning to.

Sensational service and beautiful items - special shout-out to Rhiannon, Jo and Alex

We travelled down from Chester to visit the Layered Lounge showroom as we wanted to try out some chairs and a table before ordering.
Rhiannon, Jo and Alex went above and beyond to help us pick the perfect table and were so patient and helpful. An absolute first class service from such a friendly, lovely team.
The communication since our order has been fantastic too and Rhiannon even managed to arrange for the chairs to be delivered before Christmas, which was the cherry on top of an already great experience.
The items are beautifully made and we can’t wait for our new chairs to be delivered! Thank you so much Rhiannon, Jo and Alex for your help - we really appreciate you and will definitely be ordering from Layered Lounge again in the future!

I have numerous items from Layered Lounge…

I have numerous items from Layered Lounge in my home and they are stunning. Their customer service team is always so helpful when I have called with any questions. Delivery was super quick even though I didn't pay for next day delivery and I got a free shopping bag which looks lovely. Would definitely recommend.

You asked me to review...

**Update, this did get resolved by Rhiannon in the end but LL should have acted quicker. Products are good, so no complaints there**

You asked me to review LL even though I am yet to receive all my order -- so here it is:

- I made a large order (£695) on LL
- In my order notes, I specifically requested LL arrange a Saturday delivery. This is because I work 5 days a week in the office.
- LL only contacted me about the Saturday delivery request once the order had already been dispatched via DPD. They said it would cost £15 to upgrade.
- By that time, I had paid extra to upgrade the delivery to Saturday myself via the DPD app, although it only cost £10 - interesting discrepancy. I sent an email back to LL noting this, hoping they would confirm directly with DPD as well. They did not, clearly.
- On Saturday, I stayed at home waiting for my DPD delivery slot. As it happened, I had another DPD delivery that day from another retailer - this was successfully delivered, but no news on the LL order. Called DPD. They insisted it would be delivered that day ie, Saturday. It was not. On Sunday, I called again. Went through the same rigmarole. You are 'worrying for nothing', the DPD customer services rep exclaims, as I express my doubts. No delivery, again, on Sunday.
- On Sunday evening, I email LL to explain I am travelling next week. Given DPD had messed up, could they recall the order to sender, I ask? On Monday, LL customer services respond to say "sorry for the problems, but no you need to request return to sender yourself via the app". So then I speak to DPD - "no", they also say, the sender, needs to do that. I email LL customer services to relay this information. Silence, no response from LL.
- Monday passes, no delivery or delivery attempt.
- Overnight, my travel plans are cancelled and miraculously DPD send a delivery slot Tuesday. Finally, I think (naively), this nonsense will be over. BUT NO! Only half the order arrives, no explanation. I've emailed LL, silence again.

Now, I am quite sure that DPD's incompetence has a large part to play in this, but it is the role of LL customer services to help with managing that. Especially, you might think, with a relatively high value order. Well clearly that threshold has not been met. Delayed responses, no courtesy calls, no solutions. You want good reviews? Then take responsibility for the whole supply chain, it does not end when the parcel leaves your warehouse.

Highly Recommend

I’m delighted with my purchases from Layered Lounge, all the products are exactly as described and the quality is excellent. They arrived quickly and were beautifully packed. I had a problem with my order but the customer service team was quick to respond and resolve the issue, they were incredibly helpful and I’m very impressed with their service. I would highly recommend Layered Lounge to anyone and will definitely be ordering again.

I would unfortunately avoid ordering…

I would unfortunately avoid ordering from this company. I ordered a table lamp which, when it arrived, had several noticeable defects. I immediately emailed them with photos, and asked them either to send a replacement lamp or (if there were no more lamps in stock) advise what discount they were able to offer. Almost a month later and I have received no response whatsoever, despite several chasers. In short, there has been a total absence of customer service.

UPDATE: following the suggestion below that they had no emails from me, I emailed yet again and have had no response. They plainly have my name and details on their system, as I keep getting asked to post a review!

Excellent customer service

I ordered Christmas decorations - the decorations I received had faults but customer service couldn’t have been more helpful. I emailed them and received a call the next day, they sent out replacement decorations before I returned the faulty decorations so it didn’t delay me putting up my tree, and the replacements were absolutely perfect - my tree looks amazing. Thank you so much!

I ordered some table linens from…

I ordered some table linens from Layered Lounge after struggling to find ones in the right size and style elsewhere. I really liked the story behind the company and the product pictures, but almost didn't place an order because of some of the poor reviews on here. However, I took the risk and I received the correct items promptly, in nice packaging and even the packing list/return form was printed on lovely thick paper. The linens are the colour I expected based on the pictures and appear to be of good quality (although I have not used or washed them yet). If they hold up well after use, I will definitely be ordering from here again!

I love layered lounge <3

I love layered lounge, they always have such beautiful products. I have bought a few items from them and I’ve always been very pleased. Recently I ordered some barstools which I’m very happy with, they’re perfect. I was kept up to date with delivery and the barstools were exactly what I hoped for. I would 100% recommend this company.

Arrived quickly

Arrived quickly, love the faux paw branches- look great in my vase, very realistic and lovely pale orange colour. The branches work very well in my vase. The online question service was great - I was reassured that I would be able to cut the length- and I could! Beautifully wrapped and securely parcelled up. Fantastic product and service! Highly recommended.

Dreadful customer service

I wouldn't recommend this company.

I was sent some obviously light polluted faux flowers and provided photos clearly displaying the problem. The person in chat blamed my lighting so I provided a comparison of a white item alongside. I also pointed out the difference between the picture on the website and what I received.

I was then told that they are not meant to be white, despite the description saying white, not off white. The fuller descriptipn does say creamy, but still my flowers are almost beige and bear no resemblence to the much whiter online picture.

Poor customer service. I will not be returning to purchase again from this company.

They will not be in business for much longer if this is how they deal with obvious quality control issues.

Update: The company did not reach out to me directly as promised. I suspected as much. I asked them for a label to return and was told they couldn't supply one unless I had a printer. It was obviously too much to ask for them to print one out and post considering the state of the goods they supplied. I believe the reply I received was disingenuous as the language used accepted no blame on their part whatsoever. Their failure to make contact and their refusal to go out of their way to help just proves to me that they are not a company I wish to deal with in the future.

Missing wall hanging.

My parcel was delivered by DPD yesterday, minus the contents. Rhiannon at Layered Lounge, has dealt with my issue, promptly and efficiently. I’m now receiving a replacement wall hanging, within the next few days.

Nice products, very fast delivery

I think this is my 3rd purchase from them. They have some really nice products that are hard to find elsewhere and generous discounts. The latest purchase was art which for the size I felt was a good price. I was also sent a free candle which from memory was worth £27 so can’t complain! Every order has also been delivered the next working day.
