Very helpful service from my first enquiry by phone to the Plymouth shop through to purchase on line. The used camera body arrived earlier than expected and in perfect condition.

The team at Plymouth Branch of London Camera Exchange are always helpful and friendly and the service provided is top drawer. On a recent visit they resolved an issue with a teleconverter cap and made a simple adaption to ensure the issue should not occur again.

The purchase of the Lumix GX9 camera was very smooth. Jacob and Andy at the Plymouth branch were extremely helpful, letting me know the progress of my purchase. The camera and lens, which to my eyes are immaculate, were delivered on the day agreed and were very well packaged.

I had a first class service from LCE Plymouth. I went in to purchase binoculars. They clarified my requirements and budget. Offered a range of options and gave me time to try them out. Offered good advice and most importantly listened to my needs. They were also very competitive on price. A great high street store offering a first class service the internet can never match.

Great service by knowledgeable staff. I was looking for a bridge camera, which was available in store, but other potential options were discussed with the various advantages and disadvantages. I purchased the Panasonic Lumix, confident in the outcome of discussions. I’ve purchased cameras from here in the past and can highly recommend this shop

I've spent thousands with LCE over the years from M4/3 to full frame kit, 6Ds mk1 &2, numerous lenses. Even brought a lens online from them three weeks ago, an EF16-35mm L mkii lens.
I told them this when I walked into their Plymouth store to sell a rarely used Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L. The assistant spent ten minutes fondling it. Inspected every millimetre. It was in good nick.
Then I got hit with a long script about how they don't buy lens of a certain age because it's too much trouble to get them repaired so he could only offer to take it as a part exchange deal.
So he knew that before I handed it over yet still thought it was good idea to poke it around for ten minutes while I stood there, before he told me.
The Canon 17-40 is a common, well respected, L class lens, parts are everywhere, it's easy to repair, of course an authorised Canon repair centre would repair it. I wasn't asking for or expecting much, anyway, — it's an affordable lens that mostly wouldn't warrant the cost of an expensive repair — but I didn't even get an offer.
Thing is they DO take the lens because he offered part exchange so he was obviously trying to make a sale instead of an offer.

Took it to CEX. Done without the nonsensical ramble. In fact I even decided to use their voucher towards making another online purchase with them for a camera...without being coerced into it.

LCE just lost an old customer.

I can use MPB, Wex, CEX, Park, and ebay, no loss to me.

Very responsive and helpful at all times - great shop (as with all LCE branches) and engaged, expert and enthusiastic staff. Rapid and personal email/phone contact making the issues with the courier easier to deal with. Excellent lens, too!

Called the store to check on condition etc and they were very helpful. Lens condition is better than described in my opinion and at a very attractive price compared to other outlets. Arrived on time and very well packaged. Using it and really enjoying purchase.
