In about 2000 I purchased a 4 x 8 MultiCam CNC for the company I worked for. The machine itself was great, no problem, no issues. However, the software was a different story. I went to school eight hours a day for a week. When I got out of school and back on the job the only thing, I had to rely on was my memory and my notes. Vetric software is FAR MORE sophisticated than what we had twenty years ago so I knew I would need the best training possible. I searched for quite a while and decided on Learn Your CNC by Kyle Elie for three main reasons
1. I didn’t have to drive for an hour to get to a class and sit for eight hours.
2. Kyle's attention to details and explaining them.
3. This may be the most important; the ability to search and or review the lessons when I forget how to do something.

I have tried other instructional web sites, they all have their good points. I settled on Kyle because he always made me understand the process.

I was able to learn some stuff from other online sites, but after I got this course, my abilities to utilize Vetric and my CNC went through the roof! Kyle has designed an excellent course that is easy to follow along with, and does not waste time with lots of filler. He does an amazing job explaining everything clearly so it’s very easy to comprehend. I wish I had started with this course and didn’t waste so much time with other videos. Absolutely worth every penny!

Kyle is a top notch instructor. He has the ability to keep those that are very knowledgeable, engaged with new skills or techniques, all the while explaining the basics. I have found the chapters and ability to go back to previous sessions beyond helpful.
I considered that my CNC, software and bits/tools were a worthy retirement gift to myself. Kyle’s training is has brought my skills and abilities to a level that I never thought I would reach this quickly. His weekly classes and chapters of explanation are worth every penny.

The training program is outstanding. You work at your own pace. Any questions you have you can use the class bulletin board for answers and suggestions. You have a class Facebook page to make postings and show your projects. Klye is always available for questions and he gets back to you very quickly. Students can post helpful websites for you to review. I would recommend this course for anyone who is interested in CNC machining. Your potential for excelling and creating projects to sell is endless. Klye is a very good instructor, and he is very compassionate with his student base. John Mitchell

I have used Vectric products for nine years and consider myself an expert. However, everytime I watch one of Kyle’s videos, I learn something new. It may be as simple as a new keyboard shortcut or it might be learning how to use one of the tools in a completely different way.

The weekly training sessions are always informative even when I have no interest in building that particular project. Kyle adds new information during each session.

I return to his classes whenever I start a project that uses a technique that I seldom use. While I am familiar with the technique, rewatching Kyle’s video about that technique, refreshes my memory and saves me from mistakes.

All in all, the program is highly informative and is taught by someone who has really mastered Vectric products.

Excellent service. Courses are very detailed without all the fluff that you don't need. Straight to the point. If you have any questions he is very responsive and helpful. Would recommend for anyone who is learning. Been using for about a year and always learning something new.

I had a lot, ok some, experience with Vcarve Pro but when I upgraded to Aspire in order to get the full value for modeling I needed help. Watched a lot of YouTube videos, most very helpful. Still not until I signed up for LearnYourCNc training did I recieve the knowledge I sought.

Kyle is very patient with his explanations. The lessons are in logical order so that each lesson builds on the previous lesson. What I found helpful was to open a copy of Aspire and follow along.

Be prepared to ignore your wife and kids while going through the lessons. Once started you won't want to stop. "come to bed, it's 2 o'clock in the morning" "ok, just as soon as this lesson is complete".

Were I to have any suggestions for improvement, improve the search feature to make it easier to find something that was covered but don't remember which lesson it was contained in.

I put off buying the course until the Black Friday discount enticed me. I wasted more than a year. This course is worth every penny of price and more.

My advice to any contemplating this course but is hesitating over the price, put your doubt aside this course will provide the information you need to maximize your results using Vectric software.

learn your cnc is a great course, i learned a huge amount from it. Everything is explained clearly and comprehensibly. It is also nice that you can look up everything very easily if you get stuck somewhere.
You can also always ask Kyle questions if you have problems with a project, and he will clearly point out what you are doing wrong and how to do it. This course is the best investment I have made in the field of
cnc.

One of the features of the live lessons is the ability to go back and review they (and the ability to search for topics) Today I needed to add a form tool to the database, something I have done but so infrequent that I had, just searched for adding a form tool and the lesson came right up and a quick review highlighted the step I was forgetting. I've often said you don't need to know everything about the software just need to know where to quickly find the answers - You supply this

Kyle was able to help me with a few 3D guitar necks that I imported to vCarve Pro but was having issues with the 2 sided carving. Very professional and knowledgeable. In our 1 hour session Kyle was able to help me with all my issues and more. Highly recommended!

This is one of the most comprehensive courses on how to use Vectric Cad Cam software that you will find anywhere. Kyle covers every component of the software clearly and concisely in an easy to watch and learn manner. Kyle also responds quickly to questions, and asks questions as well to make sure you understand what he teaches. If you're a novice, or even an experienced CNC creative, this course is a must have to put in your designing toolbox.

Kyle’s expert understanding of CNC software and step-by-step instruction really got me out of a jam with musical instrument design. I was stuck for months on multiple complex curved vectors that require exact tolerances.
