What in Heaven’s name has happened with the service & faster shipping times with Lens Discounters?!

I re-ordered a box of contacts that I’ve been ordering for YEARS, in February 12th - today is February 23rd, & I *still* have absolutely *NO* idea where the shipment is.

Add to this, I’ve been provided with *2* different shipping numbers - one that showed that the order was being processed in Washington, the other tracking number shoring that the order is being processed out of Canada. (Is the United States now relying on Canada for its contacts - & has the manufacturing prices gone up so high, that we can no longer manufacture contacts here, in the United States?!

Reading the other reviews below mine, I can definitely see something has changed (& not for the better) & something is wrong with Lens Discounters. Whatever it is, I hope they can get it worked out & improved, so that they don’t lose too many customers, & with them, their sales. 😕

10 year customer will look to another supplier next time. Slow shipping. Increase in prices.

Lens Discounter takes 1-2 weeks to ship your order even when they have a current prescription on file. With shipping times, a customer must be prepared to wait a minimum of 2 weeks and normally 3 weeks before receiving lens. Customer Service is of no help and will even lie to you.

I've used the for fifteen years and they were flawless up until this year. Something changed, either the company sold or they reorganized or they just gave up. My past two orders have sat in processing for two weeks prior to shipping. I never had an issue until this year and now two bad orders back to back. I would shop around now; a year ago, they were the best in the biz.

I ordered my contacts 4 weeks ago they took my money out of the account and still no contacts I messaged customer service and they said they would give me a tracking number never happened, this is not the first time this has happened either always on back order.... this is a horrible business

HORRIBLE> They will take you money for expedited shipping and not even have your contacts in stock. I received my son's contacts 16 days later. One was the canadian brand and the other was the actual brand I ordered. I'll still to 1-800 contacts who was only a few dollars more, but I never had any problems with them. This was my second experience with the company and never again. Both times were horrible....

Ordered my contacts through them because they offered 1 day shipping, or so I thought. A few days later I still didn’t receive my contacts and was told that even though I paid for 1 day shipping, it was sent to ups priority 3-5 day shipping. Nobody informed me of this until I called lens discounters. I asked for a refund and they told me I they could not give me one since my contacts were shipped (but nobody knows where they are) I will never purchase from this company again.

They ship and that the order went through properly. I also did the online eye exam which was very easy and I didn’t even have to leave my living room. It was also a lot less expensive than going to the eye dr. In fact mine was free with a promo they were having. I have ordered a few times and I will definitely be back again.

I bought here because they had the frames I wanted, with magnetic clip-ons (the best for driving). Their website is a bit confusing, and especially hard to get my doctor's correct listing. They had an out-dated one, and no obvious way to update it. Glasses arrived quickly. Did not include a micro-fiber cleaning cloth that many other companies include. Lenses were poorly mounted in the frames, so the front edge of the lens sits slightly in front of the frame (~1mm), making the edge significantly more noticeable while wearing them. My prescription is fairly weak, so the lenses are thin and this shouldn't be an issue, plus I got polycarbonate lenses specifically to minimize the thickness. I have the identical frame with a similar prescription from elsewhere that was mounted properly and does not exhibit this issue--the lens is exactly flush with the front of the frame.

The same thing that John below described happened to me, only my order had a month delay! Mine was also biofinity toric lenses. When I complained to them, they blamed it on their vendor. If they don't have enough in stock, why do they keep taking orders? Just say out of stock from the beginning so the customers don't have to wait a whole month or more to get their much needed contacts! Or give an accurate ETA!! Stop making false promises. I will not be doing business with them.
