Company reported to trading standards over serious concerns regarding Lesters Nursery World selling unsafe child products

I purchased a pram from this company, and the chassis failed while my child was inside. Despite reporting the issue, the company has not accepted responsibility or offered a replacement or refund. They made it clear that they do not provide refunds or replacements even when a product fails through no fault of the customer, which is extremely concerning—especially for items intended for child safety.

Based on my experience—and similar reports I have since become aware of—I have serious concerns about the reliability and safety of certain products they sell.

Before purchasing from this company, I strongly recommend conducting your own safety checks, reviewing independent feedback, and considering whether a more established or reputable retailer may be a safer choice, even if the initial cost is higher

Nursery world .... where ? its tiny. Basically full of prams and at the back of the shop, the smallest collection of nursery furniture. Not much of anything else. There is more to buying for a baby than prams! Such a let down.

I bought an Uppababy Cozy Ganoosh from Lester’s, and I thought maybe the price was too good to be true, but turns out it was just a great item at a steal! Very happy with everything from here, will definitely be shopping again.
