Limpopo Biltong Opiniões 

When you refresh their website when viewing a product, the quoted number of 'sold in the last x hours' changes every time. E.g, it will go from "16 sold in the last 4 hours" to "7 sold in the last 5 hours". These numbers are obviously completely fabricated and have put me right off their products - laughable.

I order 1.5kg of thin and thick wors,somehow they lost my order but anyways after that I cooked the wors 4 different ways and the boerewors was still dry. I wouldn’t reccomend the boerewors at all.

Stumbled upon the stand in Twickenham just before the rugby the other week where biltong and hot food were being sold. Never seen a loNger queue for food in my life! Thought I must try this out, and the wait was worth it. I got a boerie roll and some garlic biltong and it didn’t disappoint. The service, despite the long queue, was excellent and the people were very friendly. Will definitely be repurchasing again soon, shame there isn’t a shop near me :(

Never heard of it before, but tried it at the Game Fair this year and I can’t get enough! The service was really good and they knew a lot about their product. Perfect for me to snack on in-between gym sessions. Will definitely be repurchasing online and look forward to seeing them again next year.

The butchers choice is my favourite as it’s different to any other flavour i’ve had before, and its such a good protein snack!

I ordered wet and fatty.. received dry with no fat. It had bits if sand in it. And it says on the label that it contains anchovies.. does not say this online! Not good enough!

The reason why this has two stars is due to the additives and preservatives in the ingredients. Surly the point of Biltong is and has always been to last for months once dried. This was the whole point of it!

Ordered biltong and droëwors in December 2022. Was very good. Reordered in February 2023, along with original boerewors and cheese wors. Big mistake!!! Droëwors tasted awful (went into bin after first few pieces), original biltong okay, but not as good as 1st order. Original boerewors & cheese wors absolutely terrible. Does not taste anything like boerewors. Also went into bin (would not even give to my dog if I had one).Will definitely not order again.

Wouldn’t use again. Bad customer service, quality different every time. No refunds offered. Delivery mistakes not compensated for. Bad!

Bought cheese boerewors from this company, but have to say it was dreadful. Myself, my husband and my mum all felt the same. It tasted like game, not beef and unfortunately I bought quite a lot which I will have to feed to the dogs instead. Very expensive mistake.

If I could give more than 5 stars for customer service I would. When their external delivery partner "lost" my parcel, we let Limpopo know, more as a courtesy than a complaint. Within 30 minutes I received a call from Fatima, who not only replaced the items but organised special next day delivery before 12, personally watched the tracking and kept me updated this morning about ETA, and shared my joy when I called to say it had arrived. The biltong is fabulous, and Fatima saved our weekend.. tomorrow my British partner and I will enjoy pap and wors - my first in over 4 years, and his first ever. Thank you Fatima and Limpopo for the incredibly sensitive customer service. Nou gaan ons braai!

Terrible dry and inedible biltong. The worst I have ever had.

Absolutely love it! Compared to M-eat, it’s 100% better.
I like the choices of wetness and fat.

I have no idea how this biltong has so many rave reviews - the quality must be highly variable which is not acceptable for such an expensive product. What I got is by far the worst biltong I have ever tried. The dry tough stuff you buy in the supermarket shelves is far better than this, which was inedible. I bought 4 packs, and I am not exaggerating to say that every single piece of biltong was inedible, and I would spit it out. It was so hard and impossible to chew. I do not know if I got a bad batch - but I ordered 4 packs and every single piece was like this. I ended up throwing most of it away or giving it to dogs. I can normally eat anything, but I cannot stress just how bad this biltong is - stay away!

This is an expensive product, if you are spending upward of £50 on a treat like this, then you should get exactly the same product, as you have specified everytime.

Unfortunately wont be taking anymore £50 pot luck shots.

They also never answer when you complain about poor quality, provide refunds or so much as an apology.

Wont buy and would not recommend.

Arrived promptly, ordered medium wet, medium fat biltong, very dry and the least fat I've ever seen, droe worse dry as powder, chilli sticks like wood so dry, flavours quite good hence the 3 stars, wouldn't repeat my order.

Although delivery was received the day after I ordered, I was disappointed that I had ordered wet and fatty biltong. What I received was not wet biltong, in fact more on the dry side and it certainly was not fatty. This was an order of £52 and if there was no wet and fatty biltong available, then it would be courteous to let your customer know. Flavour however, is great. Service very good based on fast delivery time but unfortunately for me, the quality of what I ordered for that price has let you down.
