I purchased the Luma medium firm pillow and am very pleased with both the quality and comfort. I highly recommend these pillows.

Love these Talalay latex pillows. It was time to replace our older ones so I’m glad to have found Luma online. My husband is allergic to down so we have been sleeping on latex pillows for years. We chose one soft and one medium firm. They are perfect for us. The price was very reasonable, and Luma has great customer support!

Amazing mattress and the only one I can sleep on and not wake up in pain. Was a lifesaver during my pregnancy and now with other joint conditions. Firm but really gentle on body. Plus the customer service is fantastic - someone actually picks up the phone without an automated prompt. It was so cool!

I want to begin by sharing that I waited to write this review until after we have had our All-Latex mattress system for two months. Whenever I write a review, I try to capture what should be in the review that I would have wanted to know when I was investigating a product. My review attempts to be the review I wish I had read.

I found Luma Sleep via The Mattress Underground and decided to give them a call. Stefano spent 2 hours talking with me about my current situation: our current likes and dislikes of our current mattress, what we hoped for in a new mattress, and he even brainstormed ways to attempt to make a warranty claim on the mattress we had. In other words, he wanted us to investigate all options before making the purchase. Stefano was ready to recommend other companies if we needed to go down that avenue. If you are used to the experience of talking with a sales person in a store, this experience is nothing like that. This company knows what’s in the mattress, why, how much, what is best for various body types and weights, and how to determine the level of firmness we needed. We spoke again a few days later, and he could remember every detail of our previous conversation. This experience was very unique. I made my purchase on the Web site without issue.

Next, I will share the process from purchase to delivery. I'd have rated 4.5 stars if possible, but I could only choose between 4 and 5 stars. The only reason this is not a five-star review is due to some issues with the logistics involved in getting the white glove delivery to a smaller town. The setup and delivery from the white glove team was excellent – outstanding! The process of getting to that point was less than seamless. You need to know that your location may cause delays or scheduling hiccups, but Luma Sleep will be in touch throughout this process to keep you fully informed. Once the mattress arrived, and was set up for us, my husband and I both laid on it for a moment without any bedding, and we both sighed with delight – who cared about the white glove logistics anymore?

Now I get to talk about the most important part – the mattress. The feel of the materials under my hands is so pleasant to just touch it. There is a cotton cover that goes around the wooden foundation we purchased with our mattress, and even that material is so nice to just run my hands over it. The material that covers the latex is soft to touch, and even the mattress protector that goes over both the comfort layer and mattress is so nice to touch as well. The sensory experience is really very neat. After having our coil mattress for so long, this was a welcome feeling of newness.

You need to know that the entire system works together – the mattress, the topper, the protector, and the pillows. There is a reason for each. If you decide to not use the mattress protector, you may find yourself sleeping hot – we did. The cooling properties of the mattress protector complete the temperature controlling aspects of the system. The pillows just give it all that nice touch. We kept our other pillows in case we wanted to go back to them. We did not.

We chose the medium-firm, All-latex system. I wondered if I would feel a sensation like with memory foam where I lay on it and it feels wonderfully comforting, then a feeling of hardness like someone put on the brakes. I hate that feeling like the mattress is divided into two sections. My experience is that this system is not like that at all. When I lay on this mattress, there is no feeling of finding that bottoming out sensation. There is not that sensation of sinking in the wrong places. The mattress feels like it knows what you need, and where you need it. I can’t tell where the comfort layer ends and the mattress begins. The two parts to this system work in tandem.

I am a side sleeper, and I have issues with many mattresses where my arm will be numb in the morning. The first night, I woke up a few times with my arm in unusual positions, and it hurt in the morning. I didn't know what to do with it since this was a new mattress and I was used to my old sleeping habits. The next night, no arm numbness or pain.

I noticed right away that I woke up with more energy. With my old mattress, I used to wake up because I would get too hot, or my husband would get out of bed. I’m no longer hot, and there is no motion transfer when my husband gets out of bed. If I do wake up, I fall back to sleep in just a few minutes.

I notice my husband’s sleeping breathing is much deeper, and it comes much sooner after he gets into bed. He doesn't toss and turn like he used to. My husband also has a sleeping disorder that makes him tired no matter how much sleep he gets. With this mattress, the quality of his sleep is so much hire that his day-to-day waking hours are so much different. Even if he is tired, he has the energy that he did not have with our old bed. This mattress has been a nice addition to our household, for sure.

I notice that I never used to dream with our old mattress. I dream all the time now. I think I am finally achieving far more REM sleep that I just was not getting before.

And lastly, what happens when going to a hotel? We recently stayed at a hotel that has mattresses that we previously loved! This time, we were miserable for the six nights we spent away. We missed our mattress, and we were glad to get back to it. So yes, this passes the hotel test.

We are very happy with this mattress. I invite you to just give it a chance. Don’t over analyze the thing for the first little while. The mattress puts your body in positions you’re not used to, but they are good positions for me, and I don’t hurt in places where I didn't even realize I was hurting before, until I didn't hurt anymore. My husband used to have a headache that never left him due to neck and shoulder pain. He never has that headache anymore. There are just a bunch of little things that we notice, from day to day, that are different about our lives because of the quality of our sleep being so much better.

I pay on this mattress every month, and it is funny to say this: I actually like paying the bill because this mattress was worth the money, and I’m glad we have it. But how will we ever figure out how to bring it with us to hotels? Well, perhaps that is for another conversation.

I love my Luma Sleep bed.
It is very comfortable and supports my back.

They really worked with us to ensure delivery on a certain day as we were moving into a new home across country and needed our beds on arrival (not before or after). And we love the mattresses and the adjustable frame! Wish we hadn't waited until we moved to get them!

Communication was good and I got an upgrade to “white glove” delivery. Delivery took a bit longer Han I expect at about 2+weeks
Beyond that I am very pleased with the bed. I don’t wake up stiff anymore and my periodic lower back pain has resolved. It was a little firmer than I am used to but I ordeeed this based on the website recommendation. I’ve only been on the bed for a little over a month but am pleased with the quality and would not hesitate To order from them luma sleep again

THE MATTRESS IS AMAZING! I got the "Firm" Queen mattress, half spring half latex, and I absolutely love how both bouncy and soft and firm it is.

However, be aware that the delivery company they use, "Manna Delivery", is not so good. They asked me to work from home on 2 different days and then failed to deliver, temporarily lost the package, failed 2 more times, and then after I called to yell at them, finally delivered.

And now I'm happy because the mattress is perfect! :)

My wife and I had natrowed our choices down to The Luma Sleep Hybrid System and two competitors. After calling Luma first and speaking with Stefano we decided to move ahead with Luma. Stefano was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient answering all of our questions and helping us to select the correct firmness for each of our TwinXL mattresses. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the mattress and the support after the sale from Luma. I don’t think there is a better quality per dollar than Luma. Thanks!

They use a lot of scammy techniques on their website, like pretending there's a time limit to order and limited stock BS, but so far I am fine with the actual product. Look around for coupon codes.

Our bed foundation arrived in a timely manner and in good condition. We used 3 people to put it together but 2 would've been fine and I'm sure 1 ambitious person could do it alone. Assembly was easy and once the foundation was fully assembled it seams very sturdy. After 2 months of use, it has not made a squeak or creek and we have a toddler that uses our bed as a trampoline. The cover that slips over the foundation was nicer than I was expecting. The only downside was the dry clean only sticker on the cotton cover even though their website leads you to believe that you can machine wash it. Or at least that is how I understood it. Overall, I am very happy with it and ,if I needed another foundation for another bed, I would buy this brand again.

I know this is primarily a mattress company, but I've ordered four pillows from them so far and they are the most amazing pillows that I and all of my guests have ever used.

I can't say enough good things about the product quality and service I've received from Luma. I was sort of a high-maintenance customer. I misjudged what I wanted and ordered a mattress that I loved but my back unfortunately did not. Not only did I do this once, but twice. Talked to Stefano in customer service who asked some good questions and provided very helpful information on their products that steered me to the perfect mattress for me. They went out on a limb to find out what would work best and delivered on it, even though it meant a fair amount of work for them (special order/return/exchange). I'm thrilled with my new mattress. The firmness and support features are perfect for me. The return process for the mattresses that didn't work was efficient and no-hassle, as was the refund process. Extremely happy customer here!

After a few weeks, definitely noticing the benefits of the new bed. No longer do I wake up with one of my arms numb as I am a side sleeper, and my one shoulder with cartilage damage doesn't have any pain to sleep on (plush version of the Hybrid mattress). Base went together with no problems and the bed is definitely comfortable, so I have only good things to say about the first-time experience of buying a bed set-up online.

The pillow, so far, seems a bit too soft for my tastes. As a side sleeper with broad shoulders, there's a decent distance from my head to the mattress (even a soft one), so I need a little extra support to keep things aligned. The pillow is definitely good quality and comfortable, but I've had to use an older, hard pillow as a support for the talalay latex pillow. Not sure if they can make a pillow have different layers of firmness without cost overruns, but it's probably something they'd be smart to research.

Overall great experience so far, and I also have to add that any questions submitted to the support emails were answered promptly and thoroughly, which is definitely a plus when it comes to my interest in a company or product.

My Luma sleep is great! I was on a mattress for far too long and didn't realize the impact on my spine and rest the old one was having. Since sleeping on my new Luma Sleep bed, my back feels better and be rest has been deeper. A 3:00PM drag I was experiencing has been diminished greatly.

I had an issue with delivery as I paid the extra fees for a white-glove delivery, but it was incorrectly shipped by fedex instead. While unpacking is not difficult at all, I was paying for a convenience that was essentially disregarded. A quick call was immediately answered and resolution was worked out in minutes with the customer support providing multiple options in making amends.

My thanks to Luma Sleep for quickly addressing the minor situation and to improving my sleep. This is my first latex bed and really can't compare quality across the multiple vendors, but I am very happy with this bed thus far and look forward to how long it holds up.

I spent a lot of time looking at mattresses online as I was pretty dead set on just ordering from a "bed in the box" type vendor. I liked the feel of latex-on-coils so I started looking at my options. I eventually landed on luma sleep after reading reviews from mattress underground and reddit, hearing that they used high-quality materials and faster than average shipping time.

So, I ordered the base mattress, queen medium firm. Shipping took slightly longer than expected due to some issues with UPS (about 2 weeks).

The mattress is very heavy! I slept great on it, however after several months I noticed some tears on the topper. Luma replaced the mattress at no charge very quickly (less than a week) and took the old mattress back. I swapped for a firm as I thought the medium firm was a bit too squishy (im a stomach/side sleeper)

I was on the market for an all-latex mattress and after doing a lot of research, came across Luma's offering. I decided to take the chance with a relatively new company that had garnered a lot of respect, and with two of the founders having come from a background as mattress professionals. I only noticed rave reviews. Well this is another one. I've had my mattress for a few months now and it has changed my life. From the beginning I had a great feeling as while making my mattress, Luma sent me thoughtful updates on the progress. Few companies can give such a personal touch while delivering extraordinary quality directly to the consumer.

I should preface my review by saying my husband and I are overweight (I'm 260 lbs., and he is 360 lbs.) I am a side sleeper, and I sometimes wake up feeling somewhat sore in my pressure point areas. At first, I wondered if my husband's weight was causing the mattress to dip down, thus causing my hips to also dip down, causing pressure. Then I realized his weight was not the culprit. Instead, it is probably this: My own weight + a long time in one position = soreness in my pressure point areas Therefore, I believe ANY mattress in the universe would cause me some soreness as long as I'm overweight. When I haven't been in one position for a long time, the mattress is very comfortable.

I have heard about Luma Sleep on the mattressunderground.com after I returned a $1600 mattress back to mattress firm and was looking for a new matress. I wanted a latex hybrid mattress and I saw their "slumber system" latex hybrid mattress. I had an online chat through their website and had all my questions answered via live chat. I made the purchase online right after the live chat. I had the mattress delivered with their white-glove delivery service within two weeks after the purchase. The whole experience was pleasant. The delivery and sales teams were professional and courteous. And, of course, the Luma mattress is excellent! I have been sleeping on Luma slumber system for three months now with no issues. No heat, no sagging, perfect firmness (I got the medium firm). I am confident the mattress will last for years to come. Very happy with my purchase and I certainly recommend Luma Sleep to all mattress shoppers.
