Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback following your Bhutan tour. We truly appreciate you outlining your experience so openly, as this will be very helpful for other travellers considering a journey to this unique Himalayan destination.

We are very sorry to hear that certain aspects of your trip did not meet expectations, particularly regarding the food quality and variety. Whilst Bhutanese cuisine is often simple and locally influenced, we fully agree that there should be greater variety—especially for non-meat options—and better temperature and presentation standards. Your comments have been taken seriously and are being addressed directly with our local partners to ensure improvements are made.

We also note your feedback regarding limited fruit selection and difficulty with currency exchange. Bhutan’s infrastructure can be more limited compared to other destinations, but this should have been better explained and supported on the ground, and we will be reinforcing this with our team.

Regarding the Changangkha Temple hike, we are particularly concerned by the lack of communication. Whilst guest safety is always the priority—especially in the event of an incident—there should have been a clear explanation provided to the group, and we apologise that this was not the case.

Your point about the Tiger’s Nest Monastery hike is very valid. This is one of Bhutan’s most iconic experiences, but also physically demanding due to altitude and terrain, and we will ensure this is communicated more clearly so guests can prepare accordingly.

At the same time, it is worth noting that many of our travellers on the same itinerary have found Bhutan to be an extraordinary and rewarding experience, particularly appreciating the dramatic Himalayan scenery, spiritual heritage, knowledgeable guides, and unique cultural immersion. However, we fully recognise that consistency is key, and your feedback highlights areas where we must improve.
