Order never shipped
I ordered lobsters to be delivered for Christmas. They offered 12/26 as a delivery date. On 12/24, they realized they couldn’t pack the order on Christmas. After 2 email went unread, I finally negotiated a new date, and a new order as the 1.5 lbs lobsters were unavailable. I spoke with jason who confirmed deliver the next day, 12/31. The order never shipped. Do not use rhis service.
The worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever. I had lobster meat sent to me as a birthday gift. The packaging and info inside did not state whether the meat was pre-cooked or not. In reading the fine print on the vacuum-sealed package, it said, "Do not allow to defrost above 38 degrees prior to cooking." One would assume that means it must be cooked, right? Wrong. We cooked what had apparently already been precooked, and the lobster turned out tasteless and rubbery. The worst part: it is impossible to complain to the company. Their chat bot uses canned answers ("go to our website for cooking instructions."). Their website email form responds with the same canned answers. I finally got a 'human' email response, which then repeated the same canned answers, claiming I should have used their website prior to cooking (who consults a a corporate website to cook food? Even that wasn't mentioned on the packaging), and now 'consider the matter closed.' They simply do not want to deal with customers, even when a simple "pre-cooked" wording on the packaging would have changed the entire experience. But they don't care.
Horrible
Horrible! Ordered a large amount of snow crab legs for 7 people for our family Christmas Day meal. Only TWO clusters in the package!!!!! Still charged my credit card for hundreds of dollars and had to contact them to get it reversed. And we ordered a month ahead of time so that we were certain to get it right. Seriously, what the heck is wrong with this company. Scam..................Beware

One disgusting lobster tail out of 4. No apology-Just said "we're looking into it"..The date on the package was 10/26 and it was Dec 4 2025. They want to know if it is no good after 4 hours. Do not buy
Unshipped items-Refuse to refund money
Unshipped items. Refused to refund for unshipped items. Play games by providing store credit when you obviously would not trust them in the future and order again.
Lobster meat for lobster rolls
The lobster meat and other accoutrements arrived well packaged and as promised however the lobster meat was extremely tough and quite overcooked. It was like trying to eat rubber with no flavor. A shame because I was so looking for to having lobster rolls. I threw out the lobster.
Major Disappointment
Major Disappointment — Poor Customer Service and Ruined Family Event
We ordered from Maine Lobster Now to create a special sendoff dinner for our college student with family from the Midwest — many of whom had never had lobster before. What should’ve been a memorable evening turned into a frustrating, expensive disaster.
We were told by customer service that a delay notice from UPS was a mistake and that our lobsters were out for delivery and would arrive that day. Based on that, we waited around all afternoon at the delivery location — only for the order to never show up. As a result, we wasted over $250 on the original order and had to send someone out last-minute to spend an additional $300 to throw together a backup dinner. A fun lobster night turned into a basic backyard BBQ that our family can have anytime. Extremely disappointing.
To make matters worse, the response from customer service was incredibly dismissive. First, they claimed they weren't responsible for shipping issues. Second, they made us feel foolish for relying on the UPS tracking text regarding the Friday delivery now being Monday— which they themselves told us to trust earlier. And third, we were told that only because we had purchased extra insurance would we be eligible for a refund but we would have to wait until Monday to initiate. There was no empathy, no sense of urgency, and absolutely no attempt to make it right.
As a business owner myself, if I had been in their position, I would’ve overnighted a new shipment at my own expense to ensure the customer still got their order in time — and turned a mistake into loyalty. I would’ve been happy to leave a glowing review and return for future business. Instead, I’m left writing this one.
We are incredibly disappointed, not only in the failed delivery, but in the total lack of care. This was a special event that cannot be redone — and Maine Lobster Now let us down completely.
Order from MLN frequently
Order from MLN frequently. They ship promptly to Fairbanks Alaska and never had a bad shipment. Did have an order delayed and cancelled because of UPS but that happens We were re imbursed for the order. MLN is my go to company for all my seafood stuff
One of the tails were spoiled.
One of the tails I ordered was completely disgusting. I believe it was spoiled because the texture was just mush and it fell apart when it came out of the shell after cooking. It completely ruined our meal since I didn't have a lobster tail to eat.

Lobsters were mushy
Lobsters were mushy, clams so so muscles not so good. Got food poisoning from Muscles. These were eaten on separate days so know it was muscle. When you took muscle out of shells they came out in pieces, not whole. Should have known not to eat. Have contacted company & they are not doing anything. Wanted pictures. If you eaten it how are you supposed to send pictures. Maybe of me being sick. Very disappointed. Sick for at least 8 days.
Dead Lobsters... Horrible customer service
All 4 lobster were dead when they arrived, half of the clams were spoiled. If that is not bad enough the customer service is absolutely horrible!! You will not be able to get ahold of anyone at this company. A special occasion was ruined; you might want to order from a different business.
Great short turnaround, great lobsters
Our normal place-to-order lobsters couldn't do a short turnaround for NYE, so we tried Maine Lobster Now. The two lb. lobsters were huge. They arrived alive and well-packed. They were of excellent quality, and MLN gave us four complimentary tails. We had ordered six lobsters. I was looking for a place to give MLN a good review and was surprised by some of the other reviews. All I can say is our experience was very good, and the prices were very reasonable.

We placed an order with Maine Lobster Now for the first time. The order was shipped free next day. Our lobster meat and crab meat were fresh and cold not frozen. From start to finish very easy to order online and delivery was great. We just placed second order for more Lobsters and Crab meat for New Year's Eve dinner.
Entitled Employees
This company hires "Entitled" employees. After being talked over, I finally said "If you don't want my business" and was hung up on. I later found out that their employees are allowed to hang up on customers. They call that being "Combative". If you run into problems with this company, this is what you have to look forward to. There are plenty of other companies out there that are happy to take your money. After reading the reviews for the company, I'm glad I wasn't able to order.

I ordered the lobster roll kit for a friend and their family. I have ordered in the past from this company with no issue. Delivery came in 3 Jul just one small minor problem the package did not include any lobster meat!!
They referred me to their url for a refund, nope no refund just store credit. Why would I want credit for their gross mistake. I am not ordering again from this “business”, they need to. Up their game list me as a customer. Have a great 4th you really made mine special
