For the last 6 months I have been using Marshall Perfecta Natural paving both 600x600 and 450x450 sizes for a large landscaping project amounting to over £4000 in cost just for the paving.

During this project I have come to bitterly regret using Marshall products, as time and time again they have proven to be impossible to deal with, indeed the company is a complete shambles.

There is no quality control at all every pack I have received has varied in colour so much that the paving does not match and all the packs have been damaged, in one case every slab was very badly chipped and cracked and unusable as a whole slab.

This damage appears to be mainly due to the slabs overhanging the pallets which are far too small and are hit by clumsy fork lift drivers and there is no protection on the sides and top of the packs at all.

The customer services department is utterly useless and are unable or refuse to sort any issues.

The technical department are even worse and in communication their responses are irrelevant and meaningless, both departments just make up any excuse and hide behind corporate claptrap to shut me up.

I understand Marshall are the largest manufacturer of hard landscaping products, but in my experience have proven to me to be the most unreliable and the worst possible quality.
I will never buy Marshall products again.

Update: Yes your technical department replied to say; we can not guarantee colour shade or quality not even a mass produced paving slab to be even the slightest in similar in appearance, Beware you have be warned absolutely Bonkers!

The product is good but the delivery experience was very poor. It didn't arrive on the scheduled day and the chat service didn't provide any helpful assistance. The tracking service doesn't provide any help as the only two information points concerning delivery are 'en route' and 'delivered'. It isn't rocket science to provide updates as to where your pallet is.

Paving supplies. I am a paving contractor, I do not advertise and use my reputation to keep my diary full. I have just bought some Marshalls Tegula project pack in Pennant grey colour. They have just under 10 square metres of paving in a pack, there are three block sizes in the pack. After opening the pack there was only 10 of the small size blocks included. There are 52 small blocks per square metre so in a 10m2 pack the blend of sizes is one block per square metre. This is absolutely ridiculous and I ended up buying separate small blocks from another pack but the colour was nothing close. The morel of the story is sort out your quality control Marshalls or if your purchasing this style of block as a consumer use another manufacturer.

The patio slabs I ordered are good quality, but the delivery was a nightmare. I waited in all day and took the day off work, the delivery never arrived, then I had an email the next day to say they would be delivered then. I had put my phone number down as a note on the order and asked for the driver to call one hour before arrival (which is fairly standard with large deliveries), so I went to work as I have limited holiday days and had already wasted one. Again, I never received a phone call and the slabs didn’t get delivered, leaving my builder without work for the day. They eventually arrived five days after the original delivery date, but I still never received a call from the driver, so it was lucky that someone was at home! I feel this is unacceptable after charging a £95 delivery fee.

Paving stones are excellent quality, so pleased to find manufacturer sells to normal people as DIY store had none in stock and I was desperate to match pavers.

Marshall's attempted to deliver the goods I ordered on the correct day and time I had been given. Unfortunately due to over head cables they were unable to unload the lorry with the attached crane. I contacted Marshall's services and spoke to a Very pleasant woman. She informed me the delivery had been rebooked for delivery four working days later and was to be delivered by a lorry with a falk lift. The delivery occurred as stated and the delivery driver was very pleasant to deal with. Top marks from me 😁

Ordered more than 60m2 of Marshalls Indian Sandstone paving, partly because the quality looked good and partly because the price was reasonable compared to alternative quotes.

I have to say, the ordering process was fine and their communication for delivery was very good. On delivery day, I got updates and the truck delivered on time and craned the slabs onto the drive. Driver was polite and professional and the quality of the stone was really good - even better than we expected.

Now it's all laid, the result is superb. The quality is great and it looks fabulous. We've cleaned and sealed and it looks great, so this kind of sandstone needs to be sealed.

Overall, great service from Marshalls, excellent product at good value delivered on time professionally. That's 5-stars from me.

I ordered two packs of slabs, 60 in total around 15 had major manufacturing defects so more than 20% they cost over £900 so wouldn’t expect such poor quality, delivery took over a week from order, still waiting for refund for damaged ones

My Marshalls cobbled driveway was completed around 10 years ago and grouted with the Weatherpoint 365 compound. I thought this product would’ve lasted longer than this but it has now started to break down and it’s more like grit sand. I’ve ordered another 54 tubs of this product 14 from another supplier which have been delivered and 40 from Marshalls which I’m now having to wait at least a month before being delivered.

The product arrived late and the communications were awful

Delivery was very easy and the driver polite and helpful.
