As with other reviewers I thought this was legit i built up just over 15 pounds and then was permanently excluded saying an issue with activity which is incorrect and no way to appeal - SO avoid - assume for the company a nice way to fufill survey requirements without actually having to pay out

I got sent the survey link after applying for a job, it asked me to complete it before a phone interview, clearly a scam and can’t believe Indeed allowed it, I have reported them

Avoid this site at all costs! Its a scam! I wasted my time doing surveys in the hope of exchanging my points for money, as soon as i got near the 1000 points mark where I can start exchanging the points for money, they closed my account permanently saying my account had been permanently closed without explanation.

I had a very bad experience with Maru UK. In my opinion, they are dishonest and misleading. They allow users to complete surveys and initially show that points have been earned, but later those points are removed using something they call “Survey Reconciliation.”

After spending time answering surveys honestly and completing them fully, it is extremely frustrating to see the rewards taken away afterwards. It feels unfair that users invest their time and effort but may end up receiving nothing.

I believe practices like this should be looked into more closely, and cases like these should be reviewed by the appropriate organizations that monitor and regulate business practices.

Based on my experience, I would advise others to be cautious before spending their time on this platform.

It's clearly a discriminatory, ageist organisation.
It rejected me on the basis of the small amount of personal information for which it first asked. I entered my DOB and where I live.

If I could give this company a zero, I would!

Signed up on Wednesday to earn some extra money after an article I read suggested this one. Well, how wrong were they (and myself)!

After signing up, I had a couple of surveys that I managed to complete, but many stated that I wasn't applicable for the survey. I had only been on for a couple of hours and had less than 500 points. A few hours later, I was logged out and tried to sign back in... but I couldn't due to "suspicious, dormant or illegal activity."

I emailed them to ask why and about a day later, I get a reply:

We regret that we have to remove anyone and we don’t take it lightly. In order to be flagged by these measures, you must have provided questionable data multiple times and over an extended period of time. Some examples of questionable data include:
· Providing answers that are inattentive, gibberish, inconsistent, or contradictory
· Using rude, profane, or otherwise inappropriate or abusive language
· Using a device which triggers multiple fraud detection measures (e.g. disguising your IP address, responding from outside the country)
· Completing studies far too quickly
· Operating multiple accounts

Well, I hadn't even done anything that they thought I had done! A couple of surveys done and you're banned! What an experience!

Please do not sign up to this - I wish I had read the reviews before signing up. You'll be treated like you've done something wrong when you're innocent.

I do not recommend completing surveys on this platform.
On other survey websites, it is already frustrating when you complete a survey fully and then are told that your profile did not qualify. However, on Maru Voice UK this goes even further — they frequently apply something called Survey Reconciliation. This happens to nearly half of the surveys I complete.

You invest your time answering all the questions, only to later find out that you are not rewarded. In my opinion, this feels misleading and unfair, and it strongly resembles deception or scamming practices.

Always get screened out at the last minute. I completed enough to get the voucher but it's impossible to get your account validated to claim it, so you're doing the surveys for free. Every other survey site works better than this, avoid at all costs, it's a con.

I asked this shower to close my account several weeks ago. I heard nothing further but started getting emails frim them again.
Clearly they have ignored my request.

Simply pathetic. Do you have to be an alien to sign up to this site. Apparently you can't if you're male, female, from Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales or England.
Judging by the reviews it's maybe as well as it sounds like I'd have totally wasted my time and effort and been left frustrated and angry.

ONLY APPLY IF YOU WANT YOUR TIME WASTED! So i thought i try this app and see how it would go. Got my points to claim a £10 reward. Firstly be warned you go through a time period to verify you as a user so this was like a month wait. I claimed a voucher and thought that was the only problem and it will be fine from now on.

BUT NO!!! i tried to continue to do more surveys but i am unable to log in due to "suspicious activity or a dormant account. Dudes, I've been with you for a month!! I did email the "suppport" but they get back to you in 4/5/6 days OR not at all.

So anyone thinking of signing up. DON'T. There are better survey apps out there. Avoid this one like the plague! You have been warned.

I have completed their surveys in the UK and they paid me about an hour after I requested cash out.

Claimed Amazon Gift Card after completing required number of surveys and points, but nothing arrived and unable to contact company.

A waste of time and a definite SCAM

What a con!

I filled out surveys, accrued enough for a £10 Tesco's voucher and four months on and numerous emails chasing them up, queuing numbers and showing them the confirmation email, It's a constant "we'll look in to it" via their Zendesk NOTHING

This should be shut down once all outstanding vouchers have been honoured, as it's fraud to take peoples time and not reward it as agreed with the pittance they offer

I agree with many of the contributors. Perhaps I was lucky to receive a £10 Paypal voucher as my first reward, although I had to chase it when my account was continually being “reviewed”. I stuck with them and am now approaching my second payout but there are either no surveys or, today, I can’t login. I just keep getting sent back to the login screen after entering my details, I will no longer waste my time. They are nothing but hassle.

SCAM - Avoid! You will complete surveys and you will not be able to redeem rewards because they tell you online your account needs verifying. Mine has not been verified for 3 weeks and Customer Service do not respond. I fear this is a scam to get you to complete surveys for which they will get paid by the survey companies but they will not pay the survey completers in return.

Signed up. Spent considerable time answering surveys accurately. Got turned down for many or got so many redirects it was a waste of time. Got close to my 1st payout then got permanent ban with no good reason. Avoid these timewasters they are getting rich on the back of your goodwill.

I logged into my account today only to see that 75 points had been deducted with no explanation. Also have completing a good percentage of a survey it is terminated with a message saying you are not a good fit. So I decided to cut my losses and unsubscribed only to get a message saying my account had been frozen due to illegal activity.....NO Maru voice I quit!!!!!! Due to your illegal activity. This company is dishonest with no transparency.
