I recently had the pleasure of undergoing a breast augmentation procedure with your esteemed clinic in Istanbul, and I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with the entire experience.

Dr. Turkmen's expertise in breast augmentation is truly remarkable. His skill and precision not only delivered outstanding results but also instilled a sense of confidence in me throughout the process. I had a breast augmentation almost 2 months ago and had a rough recovery journey… I had one of my wounds open slightly which had led to few other issues which delayed the healing process however now, after 2 months, everything is finally going smoothly and the wound is closing up. Despite this, Maya medical team have been outstanding and so supportive throughout my recovery! Any issues I had were resolved immediately so I want to thank all of them (in particular Nurse Havva and Dr.Turkmen) for being so attentive, patient and listening to any concerns. I absolutely love my results as they are exactly what I wanted - Dr. Turkmen is amazing at his work! I would 1000% recommend these guys and will definitely be back in the future.

I genuinely believe you can not truly judge a service until you experience how they treat you when things don't completely go right.. and for that I have to give Maya and my surgeon 5*!

I chose maya for my BBL/ breast aug and uplift! My surgeon is Dr Koray (aka the contour king). Delirah answered all of my questions and was very responsive.

My procedure was in June this year. TOP TIP… find a company and surgeon that won’t give you huge boobs even if you cry 🤣 (I am now so grateful nurse Hava and the surgeon did disagreed with my 550cc request 👀🙈)

Ok, the hospital Dr Koray uses is just amazing! Clean. Beautiful. Staff friendly and speak good level English. I’ve stayed at worse 4* hotels than this hospital. It was really nice.

In June my coordinator was Yagmur. Such a beautiful souls 🥰✨ Really lovely and helpful! With me through out!

We met Dr Koray who was just lovely. His team of nurses were were really nice too.

Went down for procedure and woke up feeling like I’d been hit by a truck! It hurts! (Those influencers on instagram lied!! It was worse than I expected or they told me 🤣🙈)

I met nurse Hava who honestly she was just an angel 😇 She went above and beyond. Gave me a massage. Helped me shower. Changed my dressings. Made sure the hotel maids changed my bedding etc.. she checked in on me the whole time. She is an Experienced nurse with a big heart! The best combination for any patient in pain regretting their life choices! 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️

I came home and care continued! Amazing! - a few things people don’t talk about… the poor mental health you feel the coming weeks. I hated myself. What I did. Money I spent.. etc etc.. I would message Hava and Yagmur often just feeling really rubbish. Looking for immediate results. They would always send me reassuring messages to ‘trust the process’ and were they RIGHT 😍 - my lipo BBL results are insane!

However, I had a small issue with one of my implants. It didn’t drop in place as it should. Maya arranged a FT with Dr Koray and asked to give it 8 more weeks. Advised I massage to try and manipulate it to drop. Unfortunately this didn’t work. I got really disheartened and convinced myself that I would have to live with it. I sent Nurse Hava and Maya a message with pics and without hesitation they contacted the surgeon who asked me to come back to correct it. Not a single push back or did I feel they felt I was being a nuisance. There only concern was me being happy with results and they did everything to help me get the result I wanted ❤️🙏🏽 (just to manage expectations. Take the insurance so you won’t have to pay hotel and flights etc again)

I went back recently. My coordinator this time was Zehra 🥰✨… I didn’t think I could have expect any better service until I met Zehra!!! What an angel she was! Such a beautiful helpful human. We met with Dr Koray. He carried out the surgery. Zehra took me back to the hotel the next day. Upon check in I realised I left my passport at the hospital 🤦🏽‍♀️ Zehra went out of her way to arrange for me to get it back. She went on to give me recommendations for places to see while I was in Istanbul and kept in touch with me through out!

Nurse Hava was overseas working on my second visit but again kept in touch and ensured I had all my medications.

My honest review is. The people working for Maya are 10/10. They are outstanding people who genuinely care!

The only negative is the behaviour and expectations I witnessed of some of the British patients there.. so please go expecting pain. Treat the staff with respect and do not go with a sense of entitlement. If you want a fluent English speaking nurse or a 3 course dinner at the hospital then pay 5x the amount and go to Harley st where they won’t care nor take the abuse! So please be kind. These people work very hard to keep you happy. Respect that ❤️

My breast revision is still pending healing properly.. but I have no concerns it won’t be perfect and I know if I have any problem Maya and Dr Koray will fix without question! ❤️

Where to start... having surgery with Maya must have been the best decision I have made in my life. The clinic is very professional and the surgeons they recommend are the best.

Havva was a great support for me; her professionalism and her patience are admirable. I am very grateful to have been assisted by her.

Then there is the clinic; what a great facility, and what a great organisation. Everything is taken care of, from the transportation to the accommodation and the way they looked after me; they made me feel very safe and comfortable.

Last but not least I want to mention my surgeon Dr Tuna; I can't highlight enough how well he works and his professionalism. I had rhinoplasty, breast lift and implant and the results he delivered exceed my expectations. I feel 100% confident to recommend his work and the work of all the team.

Before I arrived in Istanbul I was in contact with my coordinator Zehra who provided me with all the relevant details. I was picked up in a private luxury car which took me to the 5 star hotel and I could not fault the hotel/room.

Dr Tuna Turkmen was the surgeon who I chose. He was lovely and caring in regards to my breast lift with implants procedure. I did want to go a little bigger but was advised this would be to much risk so I took on the feedback and took his advice of size.

The food in the hospital was not to my taste or my partners, after surgery I could not eat anything they provided, and I’m not a fussy eater, none of the nurses spoke English in the hospital after the English speaking coordinators left before my surgery and trying to order food was a nightmare we had to use the nurses phone to order something as we had not ate all day. We had to use Google translate to do this. I would advise to take food for the day/night to the hospital before hand to avoid this just incase.

Havva was my nurse who visited me in the hotel every day and she was really nice and helpful. My dressings were changed. I was worried about some blood and she came right out to see me. I was provided with antibiotics and creams.

I would definitely recommend maya medical and would go back with them in a heartbeat. My coordinator Zehra was also lovely and messaged me every day to make sure I was ok.

I am still messaging the nurse daily on what’s app with updates and queries.

Maya medical is such a reliable company and Dr Tuna Turkmen is a great surgeon his work is amazing.

The whole experience from start to finish was absolutely incredible! As a young girl I was worried about travelling to a different country for cosmetic surgery. With Maya Medical there is no need to worry, the service they provide is second to none! Any question that I had was already given to me before I had to ask which made me feel very comfortable. Everything is very well organised, from flying out to Turkey,all the way to the aftercare they provide you with. The best results & care I have ever received!

I arrived in Istanbul on the 18th November for a breast uplift & implant. As a 20 year old female arriving into a foreign country solo, I was really anxious and nervous. However, from start to finish I received nothing but reassurance, support and guidance in achieving my dream breasts.

I was most impressed with how well Maya Medical communicates with there patients, any questions or support I needed I had a detailed response within hours. Maya medical provided me with an English speaking translator which helped me remain relaxed throughout my stay here in turkey. Zehra was allocated to me in support with my surgery, any questions I needed to ask she would fulfil. Zehra went above and beyond to support me before and after the surgery. She was kind, professional & approachable.
The standard of care in Maya Medical is beyond anything I have experienced here in the UK.

Dr Tuna Turkmen completed a full and complex consultation with me in person, prior to my surgery, he was detailed in providing information about concerns I had regarding my surgery. He talked through my ideal breast’s and things I would like to improve. Dr Tuna has helped me gain my confidence back with my body and I am so happy with the results!!

The hotel & hospital was immaculate in cleanliness. The nurses looking after me post op were so supportive. Any medication I thought I needed was facilitated. Physical observations were completed throughout my stay in hospital to discharge which reassured me.

I had a breast lift and augmentation with Maya medical beginning of Nov and all I can say is look no further, they have been so amazing! I was very nervous to get the procedure done as it was my first surgery, however from speaking to Dilara and first booking my surgery I felt I was in safe hands! She arranged a video call with Dr. Tuna Turkmen who was my surgeon and from that moment I knew I wanted them to do my procedure. I arrived in Istanbul and was picked up in a luxury transport vehicle, all transfers to the airport and hospital and hotel were included and set up by Maya so you never need to worry about anything! Next I met the patient coordinator Yagmur she is so lovely and will answer all your questions and help ease your worries. Dr. Turkmen is a very talented and compassionate surgeon, I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon I love my results and you can tell he really cares about his patients and has true passion for what he does. Lastly the private nurse Havva is an absolute angel, she came to the hotel to change my bandages and help me shower, even now being back in the U.K. I am in constant contact with her feeling very taken care of! The whole experience makes you feel like a princess honestly they all are so lovely and professional. If you’re looking for a company to book surgery through I can’t recommend Maya Medical enough! I will definitely be back if I ever want anything else done they are absolutely the best.

I recently underwent a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) and breast augmentation in Turkey, and I cannot express enough how disappointed and dissatisfied I am with the entire experience. From start to finish, it was an absolute nightmare that left me scarred, both physically and emotionally.

First and foremost, the quality of work performed by the surgeons was abysmal. Despite providing them with clear instructions and references, they completely disregarded my desired outcome. The results of both procedures were far from what I had envisioned, leaving me with a body that I am deeply unhappy with. The BBL left my buttocks uneven and lumpy, resembling a botched science experiment rather than the desired curvaceous figure I had hoped for.

To make matters worse, the breast augmentation was an absolute disaster. Not only did the surgeons fail to achieve the desired size and shape, but they also left me with additional scars that were not present before the procedure. I was forced to return to Turkey twice in an attempt to rectify their mistakes, but each time, the outcome remained unchanged. The scars only multiplied, leaving me with a constant reminder of the incompetence and lack of skill displayed by the surgeons.

Aside from the physical damage, the emotional toll this experience has taken on me is immeasurable. I had placed my trust in these so-called professionals, only to be let down in the most devastating way possible. The trauma and distress caused by this ordeal cannot be overstated.

Furthermore, the lack of post-operative care and support was appalling. The surgeons seemed disinterested and dismissive when I expressed my concerns and dissatisfaction. It was as if they were more interested in taking my money than ensuring my well-being and satisfaction as a patient.

I strongly advise anyone considering undergoing a BBL or breast augmentation in Turkey to think twice. The risks and potential consequences far outweigh any potential benefits. The subpar workmanship, lack of professionalism, and disregard for patient satisfaction make this a place to avoid at all costs.

In conclusion, my experience with BBL and breast augmentation in Turkey was nothing short of a nightmare. The terrible work performed by the surgeons, the need for multiple corrective procedures, and the resulting scars have left me feeling devastated and regretful. Save yourself the heartache and seek out reputable surgeons elsewhere who prioritize patient satisfaction and safety.

Wow. What an amazing experience I have had with Maya, from start to finish they’ve all been so amazing. From Dilara, Yagmur and my surgeon (Dr Tuna Turkmen) and his team. I was so worried about flying out to Turkey to get anything done but the hotel they put you in is AMAZING and everyone is so lovely and welcoming. But the main person is Dr Tuna Turkmen. Wow wow wow. He is soooooo kind, sweet, amazing and an artist in his work. He comforted me as I was crying in surgery before it started and just made me feel so at ease. The after results are just incredible too. I’m SOO happy I went with Maya and Dr Tuna, best decision I’ve ever made. Thank you all so much for changing my life for the better ❤️❤️

Loved everything from start to finish from the coordination of booking flights, transportation, hotel-everything they made it so easy! I got a 360 tummy tuck, lift with implant and was a little worried going from USA to Turkey but it was the best experience and my results are amazing! I have had work done in the USA and the care & results do not even compare to the treatment i received (not to mention 1/3 of the US prices)-and MOST importantly my results are amazing, better than I ever could expect!

This is my second review for Maya, (first is under the name Jakki Reid), I’ve had 3 other procedures with them in the past and I’ve never had an issue before. I had surgery on the 13th September, my surgeon was Dr Turkmen (who was very nice) and I had an endoscopic brow and cheek lift. After surgery, I had severe facial swelling and a lot of pain which was unmanageable with the naproxen I was given. Havva the nurse took a picture of me as she said it was the worst swelling she had seen. (Havva is lovely, she has looked after me a few times).
I took my own pain relief with me, as from my previous experiences, I know the pain relief given is not sufficient in the early days following surgery. I was told the procedure was minor, and I would be able to return to normal activities after 7-10 days. They told me with this surgery I could expect to have small dents in the side of my face, and some swelling but that everything would resolve totally in a few weeks.
After returning to the UK and removing the tapes I could see that my left eye was considerably smaller and more swollen than the right and looked much more stretched and there was a deep dent above the brow. I was also unable to move my left brow at all, this was very noticeable. I was understandably really worried and concerned, so I messaged my coordinator Yagmur. She said not to worry, it was all normal and would resolve in a couple of weeks. It didn’t resolve after 3 weeks so I messaged again and was told I had swelling on my eyelid and not to lay on the left side. I explained I was still sleeping on my back and had not slept on my side at all. I said I was concerned my nerve had been damaged during the procedure as I had no movement in the left side and I didn’t think eyelid swelling would inhibit movement of my brow. I did have a video call with the surgeon and he told me this wasn’t the case and the eye issues/dent could be a result of the stitches internally being too tight and to wait a bit longer, but after 5 weeks I still could not move the brow and the dent had little improvement. The incisions in my head were still scabbed painful and weeping. By this point I was starting to panic, I am fortunate enough that I do not work with the public, as facing people after the op would have been really upsetting, but I was still very self conscious and aware that my face (eye area) looked weird. I just basically stayed indoors and hid until around a week ago. I am now 8 weeks post op and my eyebrow has regained around 60% of its movement and my eye has improved in size. The nerve was obviously bruised/stretched during the procedure and is now regaining function again. I messaged Maya today as the dent still hasn’t resolved, neither have the scabs in my head and was told this could take up to 6 months and MAY improve. The reason I am writing this review is to give anyone else considering this particular procedure, an honest account of what can and does go wrong. I was told today that what has happened to me is not uncommon to experience and is part of the healing process, this is NOT what I was told prior to surgery. I was also told today this is a major surgery, but when I questioned why I was not told this before and stated that I felt it unprofessional not to fully inform people of the likely side effects, they then backtracked and said it was a minor procedure, but due to the nature of the operation it is still early days to see a full recovery which is contradictory to what was said to me initially.
Whilst I am confident I will recover and be very pleased with the results, this is a not a procedure to take lightly and I expected more from a company I’ve used several times and highly recommended to others. If you do not work from home and haven’t got several weeks to hide away then this may not be the procedure for you. I wouldn’t return back to them for any further surgery which is unfortunate, as I was very happy with them in the past. Nobody checked on my progress or followed up with me once I made them aware of the issues. I would also like to add I followed all aftercare and am overall, in really good health.
Edit. My face is now back to normal movement, but there is no difference in the brow position at all, you cannot tell I have had a brow lift. On the 28th December 3 and a half months after surgery, I went to my doctor as I still had swelling redness, pus and pain in one of the incision sites which was now a 3cm wound and I was given antibiotics and a swab was taken. The results came back a few days later with a Staphylococcus aureus infection, which can lead to MRSA. After taking antibiotic's again, my (4th course since surgery, as well as several antibiotic creams) the infection was reduced but not cleared. Finally a piece of surgical staple was removed from the wound a few days ago. This had been in there for 4 months, due to this and the poor results, I have changed the rating to 1 star.

Fantastic experience from start to finish . Dr Erkan Yuce is very skilled and delivered the result I asked for. The hotel was amazing . The hospital was spotless and staff were very supportive. The co ordinator Yagmur was very sweet but a special mention for Nurse Havva . Me and a friend travelled amd stayed together and this nurse was amazing supportive and so knowledgeable in her job . She was crucial to our recovery and extremely caring and helpful on all fronts . The medical standards are very high . Highly recommended

My experience was amazing , after my surgery which was more than I expected I am very happy because I choose maya medical as my doctor Dr.Tuna was amazing . Also Yagmur my patient coordinator was a lovely girl. My nurse Havva was amazing too , very lovely woman who take care of me as I was in hotel. I am 1 month post op and still give me support . Dr tuna Turkmen has done an amazing job of my breast augmentation listened to exactly what I wanted and they are even better than my inspiration photos.

It has been 6 weeks now post op and they look better than I ever would have imagined.

First couple of days little painful however plenty of pain relief given at hospital to subside it. Definitely recommend taking a friend with you to help move in the bed and pillows as be very limited first couple of days.
Hotel was lovely.
Faultless experience.

I had a TT and breast augmentation with uplift around 3 months ago with Maya. My experience has been incredible. I had a few bumps in the road not due to the surgeons work but due to how my body was healing. Nothing major, very minor issues but Nurse Havva kept in contact with me every step of the way, reassuring me and giving me best advice to promote faster healing and asking for regular pictures to give best advice. I am over the moon with the results of my surgery completed by Dr Ugur Horoz and extremely grateful for the follow up FaceTime chat when I was anxious about recovery when I got home. I would 100% recommend this company. A special thank you to Nurse Havva for the follow up care, I couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you so much for everything!
