Our en-suite is now complete and this positive review is based on our experience with MB
MB was the only estimate which was logical and easy to cross reference against the catalogue. We had four in total.
John advised little extras which no one else did and these created or more enhanced end finish.
We were also able to physically see most of the products purchased in the showroom, which was important to us.
John was contactable throughout and communication was spot on.
MB got our business based on your expertise, making this a great customer experience.
The plumber, JMR Plumbing and Heating also commented on the quality of the products
Delivery was also seem less and well communicated.

I needed some more yale 3 star platinum keys. So ordered from MB DIY cheaper than direct with yale which I brought last time and keys were longer than original but these are same size and work prefect and nearly half the price. Won't hesitate to use this company again if needed more. Disgusting yale charged so much. Postage was tracked and on time

Bathroom suite installed by professional plumber and within less than ten months the toilet and sink units started to de-laminate badly.
Its an average size bathroom. Its not a wet room.
Had to replace units from another company.

I needed a single length of 6m trim delivered. It was delivered within 24 hours at a cost of £5. Accurate and mapped delivery. That’s a great service. The whole set up at MB is really functional, good products, great staff. An outstanding local business in the Northeast.

We needed a new lock for our upvc door - MB is always my first port of call for this type of stuff. Anyway, dopey me managed to need the full door locking mechanism as well….however, all was not lost, as Peter sorted me out with a replacement, given my few measurements, and after a false start, my door is now better than new!
Many thanks to Peter for his patience, good humour and helpfulness to the amateur lady DIYer who can now call herself a locksmith!

Had some excellent customer service today from Adam when visiting the store in Middlesbrough. I had an issue with a door lock and he demonstrated his breadth of experience diagnosing the issue and saving me both time and money providing the most efficient solution. Thanks again Adam I will be visiting again.

Asked MB to email quote me yesterday morning for 3 euro cylinder locks, all keyed alike and 6 keys.
The quotes arrived promptly and I placed the order at lunch time, to my amazement the postman delivered them this morning. The locks and keys are perfect and exactly as ordered, looking forward to doing business again soon and more than happy to recommend to anybody looking for quality service.

I needed 3 Yale security keys cut and delivered.

I ordered these at 07:30 Friday morning and delivered the following day at 11am.

They are a perfect fit, no catching or wiggling about, and are original Yale's.

Bought two showers and wall pannelling for two different jobs spending north of £2000.
They changed one shower tray that had a hairline crack after admonishing me for been over the 30 day returns policy.
I cracked a bracket holding shower glass (too easily) which I admitted but wouldn't replace said bracket as I was outside 30 day returns policy ( this must be a very localised made up policy the company spurt out)
So I bought 2 replacements as belt and braces to hold very heavy shower glass in place seeing as the first broke so easily.
Due to personal circumstances didn't get round to job til ( wait for it!) after their 30 day returns policy. When I opened packaging the crucial said bracket was missing from one rendering the support arm useless. Informed MB who are refusing to replace said missing item (that probably retails at no more than £10 and costs them pennies).
So I am now having to submit a complaint if I can be arsed cos I've wasted enough time chasing up damaged goods etc which the staff do not seem to appreciate. Very poor, very dissapointed cos I always like to support local business.

Went to the Middleborough store for wall cladding and floor A lady called Debbie showed us Around helped me pick flooring wall cladding absolutely amazing customer service lm new to this she helped me what a great lady

Great service. Graeme persevered in finding me the lock we needed, though it was non-standard, followed up the order and arranged for special delivery. A personal touch which is missing from many transactions these days. Goods arrived yesterday and are exactly what we needed. Five stars for MB.

Excellent company would have no hesitation buying from them again, fast delivery, excellent technical support, after sales were so helpful and efficient, had an issue with one of the products but MB DIY fixed the problem very quickly and fuss free, very impressed and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic range of products at good prices, but what makes this company stand out is the absolutely amazing customer services - I ordered a number of wall panels that were delivered exactly as planned by very helpful delivery driver (useful tracker kept me fully informed). After delivery I experienced a couple of manufacturing faults with some of the panels, this is where MB Customer Services (Viv) really went above and beyond to get us sorted. Viv was straight on it and arranged for the products to be replaced and delivered to us in Manchester. Really could not have dealt with the situation any better.
I would have no hesitation to use this company for any purchase big or small.
