What a lovely bunch of people! Very friendly, very helpful. What a relief to have this store still on my high street when so many others have disappeared off to the hinterland or into the Internet ether. I'll be back there soon.

The staff were friendly and helpful…
The staff were friendly and helpful when needed, but not too pushy when I wasn't sure what I wanted (looking at hiking shoes). And very willing to find what I needed when it wasn't on the shelf in the shop.

Friendly, helpful staff, offered advice on size etc once I'd explained what I wanted purchase for.
Also directed me to where I'd find other requested items along with relevant purchasing offers.

Walking shoes!
Isabelle served me today, she was a friendly, personable young woman and had good knowledge of the product range I was looking to purchase from.Great service received and a new tip about threading the top hole of the walking shoe from another member of staff! Good returns policy, incase there’s a problem once I get the shoes home. Very pleased, would recommend :)

We have been using this shop for over ten years and it still great every time we go.
We have been using this shop for over ten years now. We are frequent buyers, All the staff are helpful and have an in depth knowledge of the products. They all know where things in the shop are, and what alternatives there are. Today was all about Maps and walking trousers for me. Both found and bought speedily.
We both would encourage anyone to go in and see and touch what is available - or get advice on getting an alternative sent to the shop. This is probably the best shopping atmosphere in Ipswich delivered be highly capable staff.
Boots and anoraks are tricky to buy in many ways - the staff are exceptional in their patience and advice. They have kept us well booted and waterproof. They always smile and the discounts for having National Trust cards are great.

Good Service & Unexpected Discount
Short trip north next week & checked them out for a new fleece. Chose a Berghaus & jokingly said "any discount for an old man". Didn't expect one but got £10.50 knocked off so no complaints. Always found the staff helpful & friendly there.

The female assistant was incredibly helpful and patient in helping me choose a good pair of weatherproof trainers. She really did go over and above in customer service.

Outstanding customer service by Chantelle and Jason. I arrived at the Ipswich store an hour before closing Chantelle spent 45 minutes providing advice on walking boots to aid my purchase. Jason - great advice on clothing gortex jacket and bottoms, trousers all purchased. Really helpful great store.
