Fantastic cabin bed with cosy corner
This is a wonderful bed and my daughter loves it. The built in chair/bed makes a wonderful cosy corner for reading. I paid for assembly and it was worth every penny. The boys assembled it in no time at all and were very punctual.

Love the bed! Hate the instructions!
The bed is absolutely beautiful. Clearly high quality materials used. Would have given five stars if it wasn't for the absolutely horrendous instructions. Please start putting stickers or something onto the pieces so you dont have to spend ages working out which is which, when alot are similar. Also break the instructions down more to make it easier to follow for those of us not great at diy.

They lost my order
They lost my order, then told me they hadn’t been able to contact me to say there was no stock of the bed I ordered. Then I get a notice of delivery but was told a box was missing - nothing was missing. They obviously don’t have a clue.

We’re really sorry for the confusion around your order, we completely understand how frustrating that must have been.
Just to clarify, we had actually been trying to contact you for a while, but unfortunately your email mailbox was bouncing back, so our messages weren’t getting through. When we eventually managed to reach you by phone, we explained that the bed had gone out of stock the night before due to a supplier stock count issue. We sincerely apologise for this but sometimes there are external factors that are out of our control.
Regarding the comment about a missing box, that message came from a conversation you had directly with the courier. It looks like there was just a mix-up in their box count upon delivery, but we’re glad to see that everything arrived safely and in full.
We do take feedback like this seriously, and we’re always looking to improve communication wherever possible. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

I had a great experience buying a new bed!
The bed is great & really solidly made. The drawers and cupboard underneath have loads of space.
I did need to talk to customer services about the delivery and Kelly couldn't have been more helpful. Really good service all round.
The instructions could have been a bit clearer, but it all came together with no issues and our daughter loves it.

Fantastic customer experience
Fantastic customer experience. I called up as I had a question around availability and which courier(s) were used. Spoke to the owner who was really friendly & personal. They checked stock and confirmed it could indeed be delivered next day. Sure enough by 8:30am the next day I had received the bed. The quality of the instructions and packaging impressed me as well. Every piece was clearly numbered and fixings were individually grouped, labelled, and bagged. The only feedback I could give for improvement is that you don’t work through the boxes from 1 to 4 but need pieces from each of them at once. That is IT! Very happy customer and wishing this company every success.

Just great customer service
Just great good old fashioned customer service, asked a few more questions about a bed and got a reply almost immediately with clear and friendly answers, can’t ask for anymore than that. Delivery was quick and easy and the guys that built the bed were amazing, just a seamless experience start to finish, I will only be buying my children beds from Millie and Jones from now on , thank you guys!

Very well made, nice to see its mainly pine not chipboard. My son loves it. Great to have the option to put the ladders etc on either side. The instructions are pretty good, fortunately its possible to easily disemble and reassemble the bits where you are likely to make a mistake :)

Quick delivery (3 days), great product quality, easy to install instructions, great response from customer service team. However only downside was the pink sofa bed cushions were not the colour advertised (given fuschia pink and not pale pink), so had to have them replaced which was easy to arrange.

StowWell 4 Drawer double bed frame
We assembled the StowWell 4 Drawer Double Bed Frame in white today ourselves. First of all, the headboard is thin and sounds cheap and the 4 drawers underneath don’t line up perfectly. Secondly, the smell of the frame are awful and irritating. After having left the windows open for a few hours, I had to leave the fan on tonight while sleeping on it. I really hope the smell will be gone very soon. We never had this problem with a similar bed bought from John Lewis a year ago which was even slightly cheaper. It’s also not convenient that you don’t offer the option for same-day assembly. I am very disappointed with the quality of the product and the inconvenience of the assembly service.

Thank you for your review and we’re sorry to hear you were disappointed. The StowWell is crafted from solid wood and is one of our better sellers for older teens and adults, so we are surprised to hear this.
Just to clarify, the assembly wasn’t carried out by Millie & Jones, as we don’t currently offer assembly on this product. We mainly provide same-day assembly on our children’s beds, which are our area of expertise.
With regards to the odour, new furniture can sometimes have a temporary smell from packaging and finishes, but this usually fades quickly once aired. If you’d like to discuss your order further, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at support@millieandjones.co.uk

Pricey but worth it so far.
This is the only company I could find that did the staggared single beds and inbuilt storage, so the price wasn't surprising, despite being high. The actual fitting together process took 2 days (with a sleep inbetween on the floor) and was very exhausting. We still havent finished the doors and drawers, as we can't face more. There is an option for fitters to come, but we couldn't afford more than the price of the bed. Overall, it is as sold. Incredibly heavy (which makes it super sturdy) but prone to chips if placed awkwardly on the floor while building. Fits sloped roofs amazingly, with ample headroom for both beds. Bottom bunk has bedside cabinet built in, top bunk has shelves. There is wasted space under the bedside cabinet, which we were a bit upset about, but it may be structural? So we didn't adjust it. We were thinking of putting a few hinges on it and storing school bags or wool in there. (The open hole is against a wall)
All in all, not a bad purchase. It has only been a few months though, and the review emails have been quite pushy, so we will see if it holds out for long.

I am so happy with the excellent…
I am so happy with the excellent service from Millie & Jones from start to finish. Their website is easy to navigate and I could add the mattresses, I required for the Axton daybed, easily to my basket. There was no need to search endlessly, which I particularly liked. I spoke with Jess, on the phone, a few times regarding practicalities of the delivery. Wonderful to get through to a human straight away, bonus! She was brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable. Jess is an asset to the company.
