Our arrangements were excellent and that tricky Indian visa was all done for us. We were able to enjoy Chennai through the skills of Story Trails, guides who took us on enchanted walks and experiences all arranged by Millis Potter Travel. Our ongoing trip to the Andamans had a bit of a hiccup, but Marcus was in the loop the whole time and ensured that everything went well. We had a really great time and look forward to travelling with Millis Potter again.

We have a great trip and brilliant customer experience with Millis Potter. A completely bespoke holiday, catered for many different family requirements with minimum effort. Even whilst we were abroad we were constantly looked after and provided with excellent customer service and care.

Eventhough I work for a travel company I knew Marcus had to be the one to book our 2 week India journey. We have a baby who was 9 months at the time so really had to get it right, and that's exactly what Marcus did! We love our adventure but also our luxuries! We stayed in some amazing hotels and all of them made it so easy travelling with a little one. Marcus ensured everything was provided on our arrival at each hotel which is vital when you have a tired and hungry baby! We were able to explore temples, visit local villages, go on lovely walks and even a safari drive to appreciate the amazing countryside. We have the view that life shouldn't change too much when children arrived and this holiday proved exactly that. All details were thought of travelling with Millis Potter, and I was even getting a message when we were at the airport leaving London telling us to go to the gate!

Marcus at Millis Potter is very knowledgable regards their destinations has intimate and valuable knowledge. He was very enthusiastic & put together an amazing 3+ week trip touring Rajasthan in March 2018, listening to what we thought we wanted & providing several options both terms of price and luxury and suggesting numerous experiences to truly understand the culture and lovely people. We booked with just over a month to departure (our normal last minute decisions) and our trip truly delivered ALL & MORE that was briefed and suggested by Millis Potter.

All the details were worked out & visas arranged for us at the outset. All the tours & experiences were amazing and the guides all arranged by Marcus and the TEAM were fantastic.

Even when things went a bit belly up for a days (our fault not hotels) the next stop hotels and transport were rescheduled and rearranged by local managers who looked after us really well and Marcus thoughtfully called just to double check to see if we needed anything else.

From the first phone call I knew we were in good hands. We got excellent advice and were given a personalised programme that worked extremely well for us. Everything went like clockwork and we felt we got an excellent introduction to India, The team in the ground were extremely knowledgeable and we got to see places not on the traditional tourist track.

I would certainly recommend this company if you are deciding to go on a tour anywhere in the country. They are professional and they really looked after my mum and I and made sure that our stay in Kerala was comfortable and enjoyable. They took care of our needs and we had a very good driver through out our journey!!

We travelled to Rajasthan with Millis Potter to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. The service was excellent from our initial enquiry to our return, and the attention to detail on every day of the itinerary made for an unforgettable trip. The private dinner that was arranged for us under the stars at a remote fort made for the most memorable meal, and a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary. I doubt there is a company that can provide greater insight into travel in India. Will absolutely travel with Millis Potter again.

Marcus organized an absolutely terrific vacation for my girlfriend and I in Sri Lanka. His knowledge of the country was outstanding, and his advice before, during, and after the trip was very useful. We will 100% use Millis Potter again!

Great experience with Millis Potter both before our journey and the preparation of our itinerary and the journey itself which lived up to all the expectations. We got exactly as we paid for and felt the service was very good for the money. We did a trip of Kerala, India with ur own driver all the way and had amazing places to stay including a Tree House. The staff were always friendly and accommodating and no leaf was left unturned. Anything that wasn't exactly right was down to our own choices. Would highly recommend and will use again if they cover Borneo in the future.

Millis Potter was our choice for a trip to Southern India and The Maldives at the end of 2017.
We were looking for a small company that was knowledgeable and flexible .
We actually found the company when researching our Maldives leg .
Marcus at Millis Potter was knowledgeable and had been to our Southern Indian Hotels personally so was able to find us exactly what we wanted ,which was an individual private tour with a bit of a lie down at the end.
Southern India is absolutely vast of course, so to avoid overkill and exhaustion , plus being 'Templed Out', Marcus put together an itinerary that meant we could enjoy the lovely properties that we stayed in as well as having a good variety of uninsulated experiences.The majority of our guides were charming and again FLEXIBLE .
Millis Potter were good on price too ,particularly the Air legs.
We were slightly put off by meeting Marcus in a Northcote Road Café , rather than an office , but this proved no barrier to the delivery of our holiday , and we got exactly what we paid for - PLUS.
If you are looking for a non package holiday and have an idea of what you want to do and where you want to stay , fine tuning by Millis Potter is for you !

We have used Millis Potter once before and are now using them again. Our first experience of their service was in a holiday to Sri Lanka. It was extremely well organised, with the itinerary more than meeting our expectations. We have recommended Millis Potter to two other friends, both couples reporting a similar experience to that of ourselves.

Marcus organised an absolutely amazing honeymoon for us in Nepal, Bhutan, and the Andaman Islands. Knew the area like the back of his hand, always available and approachable both before and throughout the trip, attentive to all our needs, and made it an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend Millis Potter Travel - excellent customer service with a personal touch - and nothing is too much trouble.
They recently organised two trips for us to Morocco and Mauritius, both were flawless.
We were kept very well informed at all stages of the process, given excellent advice on hotels, locations and fun activities to do whilst out there (sky diving, hot air balloon'ing and motor bike side car'ing!) and most importantly..the little things - organising candlelit dinners, booking the best local restaurants, organising champagne on arrival etc. Marcus and his team are fantastic and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We had another fantastic adventure through Millis Potter. As always, Marcus is able to put together a perfect itinerary based only on a smattering of vague and disjointed ideas from us! We had a fantastic and unique experience, taking in Chennai, Kolkata and the Andaman Islands.

Marcus did us proud with all the arrangements for our 'Golden Triangle' trip. This included arranging our visas and making changes to the original dates we specified as well as recommending suitable flights. All five places we stayed were so special with luxurious accommodation, exceptional service and a number of memorable meals. Our driver, Dollar, amazed us with his skilful driving in sometimes unbelievably manic conditions - a very amenable guy. Mostly the guides were helpful and informative and there never seemed to be a problem with meeting up. The one exception was the guide in Delhi who seemed bored by the whole business of showing us round Old Delhi. Marcus produced a wonderful illustrated booklet containing an extremely detailed and accurate itinerary of our whole trip. The places we visited and the activities we witnessed gave us a wonderful insight into the life and culture of this remarkable country. It was in every way a truly memorable holiday and we feel very indebted to Marcus of Millis Potter Travel for all the arrangements.

I have had the pleasure of using Millis Potter for two trips to India in the past twelve months and they are totally brilliant. We went to the Andamen Islands, Chennai and Pondicherry on one trip and up to Darjeeling and Shimla on the next trip.
