The frame of the old window was rotten. It was replaced. The process was very well organised and the installation carried out expertly.

We were very happy with how smooth our experience was. I was able to get a first home visit very quickly, and Jonathan was very professional and knowledgeable. The work was done in half a day, by a really kind and professional builder. There was also a misunderstanding about a detail in the quote and they were generous enough to charge me less than initially invoiced because of it. I would have loved a bit more follow up and detailed info in the lead up to the work being done (proactive info on when it would start, length of work, what we needed to prepare etc) so I could plan around it sooner. But other than that, very happy!

Very happy with the service provided by Mortice & Green. Asked them to design and install new wooden sash windows to replace the existing windows which were old.

They were very professional from the first visit to determine the requirements through to the final installation. They kept me informed throughout the process and showed flexibility when trying to confirm the installation dates.

I was relieved to find this company as I had approached many other sash window companies but had not found the right one.

I would have liked to give them a 5 star, truly. The quality of the windows is flawless, and for the price on the market, they are hard to beat. However, their general service leaves a lot to be desired. They were about 5 weeks late in delivering the windows, which has made our lives very difficult in many ways, and the admin people responsible for this were not responsive at all, at times for weeks, about this issue.
Another problem looming large is the installation service. They sent a team of two, and one of them was irreproachable, very conscientious and diligent, and really good at his job. The other one was terrible at what he did, played techno extremely loudly and shouted over that sound in order to communicate with his partner, despite my explaining i had sick clients who were in my office downstairs. He almost totally broke one of our external walls in installing a window--which the other guy then spent an extra day repairing (on his birthday). Finally, he refused to come in and do any work in his last two days, due to his racism and homophobia. I had to step in and help the other guy install various things back in place, and then he had to go, and i was left putting back the house in place. this all took a good 3-4 hours of my time, and is extremely unprofessional for a company of such renown.

Friendly. Advised helpfully and explained what did and did not need doing. The work was completed really well and it was cleaned up when they finished. I feel I can face a cold winter in future - no more drafts.

The fitter, Christian was professional, polite, courteous and very informative . The repair work involved replacing the rotten bottom rail to the Sash Window. Excellent craftsmanship! A very dedicated team of workers who did an excellent and thorough job even in the searing heat! Our windows have been wonderfully restored without the need to replace them all. The assessment was honest and the office kept in touch all through the process. They took care of some pretty horrendous rotten wood and replaced some broken glass as well. The workers were pleasant and respectful as they had to work in the confines of a small flat. I highly recommend this company.

From my initial enquiring about getting my wooden window frame and broken glass fixed through to booking the job and completion of the job. The service they provide was professional, very friendly, easy to deal with and a very outstanding high level of work. The cost for my broken window wooden frame and one broken glass panel was very reasonable too.
I had an initial survey consultation to have my window looked at before I proceeded with job. We discussed the options of fixing or replacing the whole window.
The gentleman that came to look at the window first to work out the quote was very informative, professional and great to deal with. They did not charge me for this initial survey to work out the quote for this job. Once the job was booked in. The next gentleman that came out to fix the window was also lovely to deal with he took my window frame away to get the glass fixed. He also fixed the broken wooden window frame. When he came back the the actual window frame was all fixed and only had to be re-installed. The craftsmanship of the work fantastic. My window looks brand new! I highly recommend using Mortice & Green. Everyone that you deal with is lovely, professional, helpful and work they do, speaks for itself.

Six sash windows refurbed. Great finish and customer service

Really happy with service & the work carried out. Professional, informative & high standard. I would recommend & use again. I think probably slightly more expensive than others.

I had seven sash windows - some of them very large - completely refurbished, and three other windows insulated, in a listed period house. Very pleased with the service and result all round. Whilst not cheap, I considered the price good value. I want to give particular mention to efficiency of the office back up: Klaudia and Vijay; also to estimator Jonathan on surveying and costing. The fitter, Radek, was extremely hard working, conscientious, punctual and above all, very tidy! I did not need to do any cleaning up at all after he had left. Finally, I experienced a small problem with a window sticking once the job was finished, and this was fixed within days, at a time convenient to me.

An excellent experience. Office staff efficient and courteous, and the men who came to the work were efficient, polite, very clean and tidy and did exactly what we wanted. They were with us a whole week and it was a pleasure to have them around. Could not fault the company - I very rarely write these reviews but these folk deserve one.

Job well done! The bay window of my 200 year old property had parts of rot. A job complicated by the uniquely curved shape of the window. Work was done meticulously. The team visited several times to make sure the measurements were 100% accurate. Good service from the back-office as well. The window has been saved and looks beautiful. Thank you Mortice and Green.
