The tour itself was brilliant, as the route was lovely and spectacular.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and told us a lot, starting in York, so the ride was interesting throughout. He was a very calm and safe driver as well, negotiating the narrow roads and oncoming traffic admirably.
All in all I‘d highly recommend this tour and am very glad I got the last seat on the bus.

My wife and I are both in our 80's now, and have visited he Lakes many times before on walking, climbing and sight seeing trips. It was great to revisit some of our favourite spots on such a beautiful day. Our driver, David, was extremely good, and had extensive knowledge of all the places we visited. He ensured that all the passengers were happy and that everything kept to time.

We wanted a tour that made it easy to access parts of the Lake District that weren't easy to get to by public transport and that's exactly what was provided. Mark was an excellent guide who knew how to adjust the tour based on the weather, road closures and the interests of the group. Based on this experience it was possible to gain a great overview of the lakes and how easy or difficult it would be to get to different places by ourselves. The following day we took a bus from Windermere to Keswick and walked up Skiddaw.

Our guide John made our tour of the North York Moors and Whitby memorable. We visited an Abbey and an ancient church we would never have found if touring ourselves. He very quickly got us off the beaten track and onto country back roads which again we would never have discovered. All the time he dropped in nuggets of history and geology to give a sense of what we were seeing and why. At stops along the way he was very clear on how long the break was and his good humour ensured everyone on the bus was prompt at rejoining which can be an issue on some guided tours.

It was amazing . I would like to have had more time to visit other places connected to Beatrix Potter , her museum , other factories, other houses! Without other topics . Only Beatrix and her extraordinary life.

Graham was a great driver and tour guide. He showed great patience and diplomacy when 2 passengers kept us waiting for 15 minutes when we re-boarded the bus from the ferry. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was due to 3 staff who sat directly behind me and constantly chattered through Graham’s commentary.

A great day out, we saw so much. Peter our driver gave us so much information all throughout the day.

We took the 10 lakes tour at Lake District. Our driver, Mark P., drove us to excellent locations, made the right stops, provided the right amount of information. The only stop I might skip would be the slate mine, and devote some more time in Keswick.

The Yorkshire Dales tour was enjoyable from start to finish. We drove through many beautiful areas and our stops allowed us enough time to explore the area we were in. The bus ride was comfortable, and our driver, John, was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of history about the area.

I cannot truly explain in words how good our tour was. Everything Ai said is true. High Adventure with Mark was very memorable for all the right reasons. Plenty of stops, excellent driving skills. Very helpful driver, excellent knowledge. I am a nervous passenger and felt very safe with Mark driving. Dinner at Muncaster was a wait and not the the best but that is the only negative thing I can say. Would highly recommend Montain Goat.

I joined a tour to Lake District. The driver was humourous and emphasied 'safe driver'.
The coach was new and clean.
The yellow cruise and the steam train ride were good although it was very hot on the train that day.
The stops at services were considerate arrangements.

We really enjoyed our 6 lakes tour from Windermere. We booked at the information centre and everything was easy and quick. Our guide Peter gave excellent information all through the tour and we would highly recommended this company

This is undoubtedly the best such tour I have taken! We did the North Yorkshire Moors and Whitby tour. Barry, our driver and guide, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Would highly recommend!

The tour of North Wales took me to all the places I wanted to see. The time spent at each stop allowed you to have a good look around and get plenty of photos. Our guide Jean? did an excellent job of meeting everyone's needs.

What a fantastic tour! Ten Lakes Spectacular. It was made all the more special by our fantastic guide Mark. Knowledge, humour, driving skills, Mark had it all. The train ran late, but our Mountain Goat tour driver kindly held the tour for us.Drove 20 minutes through gorgeous nature to Windermere. Since Hill Top House is closed on Fridays, we visited the World of Beatrix Potter—a once-in-a-lifetime experience I recommend for every kid! Took a beautiful 30-minute cruise on Lake Windermere, visited an old castle with mesmerizing views, and viewed three stunning lakes during the drive. Finished with a peaceful Afternoon Tea at Lindeth Howe.

Tom was an absolute superb guide… both knowledgeable, articulate and witty. He made the day truly memorable. The logistics were well done and the scenery really delivered. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour.
