If they had been honest with the delivery date I would have given a full 5 stars but emails and phone calls were just excuse after excuse. Our great-granddaughter was very excited when she saw it!
Already waited 3 weeks for delivery
Already waited 3 weeks for delivery, complained to company today after sending emails. Been promised that delivery will be next week. If delivery fails next week then proceedings to start a chargeback with bank will commence. Will update review with outcome.

Poor customer service, Broken promises and Ongoing unresolved issue
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. I received an incomplete order -the bed was delivered without the foot end, which is not what I ordered or paid for.
For more than four months,I have been chasing a resolution. During this time, we have exchanged multiple emails and phone calls. On several occasions, I was clearly assured that the missing part would be delivered , yet it has never arrived.
Most recently, I was assured that the foot end would be delivered this week, it was not. I asked for a tracking number or delivery reference to confirm dispatch but my request was ignored AGAIN!
The repeated assurances followed by no action have left me feeling misled and very frustrated .
The level of communication and lack of accountability has been unacceptable .
After months of unfulfilled commitments, I have completely lost confidence in the company!
Today 26.02.26 I have finally received the missing foot end. While I appreciate that the matter has eventually been resolved, it took several months, repeated chasing, and stress to reach this point. I hope the company improves its communication and delivery process in the future so other customers do not experience the same issues.

Placed an order on 30th Nov after checking with them delivery time would be in time for Xmas. I was assured that it would be…that was the first lie! I was told bed would be arriving 20th December. It didn’t arrive. I was assured bed would still be with us for Xmas as they were ‘sorting out a courier’. We then spent the run up to Xmas waiting in everyday for a bed which I now know was not going to arrive until well after Xmas. I was annoyed by the lack of communication and false promises of call backs but thought these things happen and we got on with it. I was then assured it would be with us the first week of Jan ‘100%’. Unfortunately this didn’t happen either and and no communication followed. When I did speak to them by ringing myself we were just told more lies. I was actually only able to call them because they rang me ONCE from a phone number that they used on Xmas Eve to say the bed was on a truck that had ‘broken down’. Without having this phone number I’m not sure I would have been able to communicate with them at all. If anyone is waiting on a bed and wants this phone number please feel free to message me and I will send it you! After using this phone number to demand where my bed was literally everyday the bed finally arrived on January 27th. The bed is nice and being totally honest it’s good quality and well made but honestly it’s just not worth the hassle. Spend your money elsewhere. If you do decide to risk it please use a credit card so at least you can do a charge back when you get sick of the bad customer service and lies. This company should be ashamed of themselves.

We visited them and they helped us pick out the right bed for us, taking into account our space and other requirements. The process was very swift and i think its the best value for money i have ever seen for such a high quality bed and mattress. 10/10 would recommend .

Soooo impresssed with this bed. It is such great quality and well made. Solid frame and bottom. A great selection of fabric choices.
Just be aware the beds are made from scratch so its not next day delivery.
I brought it for my daughters bedroom. She has the boxroom and it has stored all of her toys and gives her lots of space.
I brought my son a cheaper bed and you cant compare the quality. I am so impressed. We are going to get a double for our bedroom.
Avoid miscommunication
Ordered two beds to go to Northern Ireland had to pay extra £150 for delivery all together was £776 pound this was on the 9th of September. Asked them over and over for delivery updates every time I asked for a refund they would just say the items will be delivered. Told them my daughter is sleeping on a mattress on the floor I need these beds. I placed an order and did not receive the item. Despite repeated contact, I was given shifting delivery information and was later told a refund had been issued, which PayPal confirmed was not the case.
I was advised to open a PayPal dispute and was encouraged by the seller to close it, which I did at the time as I was unfamiliar with the process. I am now having to go through my card provider to recover the money.
PayPal advised me to report the matter to Action Fraud. All I am seeking is a refund for an order that was never received.

Ordered a bunkbed (double with single upper) on 11/11/25 still have not received the beds even after multiple emails and phone calls where they say they will call back with an update but never do. They even stated that the order will be delivered next week in an email dated the 01/12/25 but no delivery was made.
Requested a full refund 09/12/25 and again on the 22/12/25 by email plus I also requested a refund over the phone 19/12/25 all these requests have been completely ignored to the point where I have now contacted the credit card company to retrieve the funds on my behalf.

Happy with the items ordered.
Ordered an ottoman bed, mattress and storage box from My Child’s Room on 29th October. Delivery time was reasonable. I received the items in just over two weeks. The delivery drivers were pleasant and polite. They were cautious and considerate of my property when trying to manoeuvre the bed upstairs. However, there was a miss communication over installation, which I had paid extra for. Therefore reached out to the company’s customer services.
Communication was not great, as many messages and emails were not replied to. This went on for nearly two months, until the owner of the company contacting me directly. They apologised sincerely and resolved the matter there and then, issuing a refund for the installation fee.
Very happy with the bed, mattress and storage box, great quality and reasonably priced. I was impressed with how well packaged the items were. They arrived without any damage or dirty marks from transporting. (Unlike what I’ve previously experienced from other furniture companies)
Overall, I’m happy very with the products, but unfortunately had to deduct a start as the initial customer service was quite poor.
POOR COMMUNICATION. AVOID
Despite the website stating that the bed would arrive within 7-14 days. My bed took 33 days to arrive and this was only due to my constant chasing of the company due to extremely poor communication. Emails not responded to, phone calls not answered. The only way I got a response was through WhatsApp and I felt fobbed off every time I asked for an update. Absolutely no proactive communication to a customer whose bed was delayed. Up until the point it had got past 30 days which I requested a full refund due to breaching the contract as part of the consumer act, funnily enough within minutes I had a senior manager on the phone who was very apologetic and said would look into what was going on and get back to me, of course he didn’t and I had to contact the next day yet again for an update. It’s actually such a shame because when the bed did finally arrive it’s a lovely bed (although with no instructions!) but it was absolutely not worth the hassle of having to constantly chase a bed that I only ordered because of the quick turnaround time listed on the website. If they MASSIVELY improved their communication I would recommend but unfortunately due to my experience I would absolutely not wish for anyone else to go through the absolute hassle of getting a bed from this company. I’ve also since seen comments about the negative trust pilot reviews being deleted which I have no idea how that is allowed, I did my research before hand and ordered due to the previous positive trust pilot reviews, hopefully the few more recent negative reviews will warn other customers to take their business elsewhere, fingers crossed this review does not get deleted. Avoid at all costs.
UPDATE 14/01/26 - mychildsroom are responding to any negative review trying to say that they can’t match up the details with their orders I.e. trying to imply that we are not genuine buyers which is obviously not the case at all, it’s very clear to see that they are trying to their hardest to dispel any negative reviews, I myself was given a trust pilot violation because they had reported me which obviously after proving what they had reported me on was incorrect, it was removed. It’s highly embarrassing on their behalf - if only they put this much effort into providing a proper service to their customers then they wouldn’t be in this situation. Seriously avoid.

If I could leave Zero stars I would!
I chose this company over a few cheaper ones because I read that the customer service and quality were better. I thought that if I paid a little more, the bed would last longer. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case at all.
The delivery took over three weeks, the bed arrived without instructions, and it broke as soon as we tried to assemble it. Even the material of the headboard feels very cheap and you can see it won't last long. I’ve been trying to get an exchange since early October, and now it’s December and I’m still waiting.
I paid almost £400 without a mattress for a broken bed. I would NOT recommend this company at all!

I bought a bed which I never received
I bought a bed which was supposed to arrive to requested room with a 15 day(maximum20 day ) period. Nearly 90 days waiting I still do not have the bed I paid for. I seem to keep speaking to the same person who continually fobs me off with excuses. First blaming the couriers they use then apparently unable to communicate with the next couriers. It is just a big con and has been a waste of my time and money. I don’t usually write these things but thought it might help someone else from making the same mistake as me.

Don't recommend.
