I'm not sure what I paid $65 for. I could have simply uploaded a Google spreadsheet to my group chat for my son's birthday and had people tick off when they'd purchased something from my wishlist. The release date for our gifts states 12 February (today is 11 March). I've contacted customer service only to be told that they aren't responsible for the delivery of gifts... that my guests are. It seems odd that not one of the gifts has been received and when I phoned the charity they had no record of payment being made and are currently escalating this. Not only this, but several guests who purchased via the registry or contributed money checked in with me to ask if it was a safe and secure site. So, as it seems, my $65 was for a landing page - poor user experience for my guests, no gifts received and now I need to contact each of the guests to awkwardly ask them for their receipt and then chase up the individual websites for the items we listed.

Edit (response to your reply): I've searched my inbox and have a support ticket asking more about how the service works (prior to purchase), a receipt for purchase on 30/01/23 and notifications that someone has contributed at various points. There were no emailed instructions. I have screenshot the list of communication received from My Gift Registry, but I cannot attach it via an edited review. However, a public response to a review on this platform has taken priority over my support ticket submitted. It was not clear when watching your initial marketing video, which as someone who works in marketing - it's a great video, but it wasn't clear that you only give gift cards. And while I appreciate the laws surrounding money laundering, I would not have used your service if it was clear that I get gift cards and then need to purchase the products myself... and now I also need to ask each guest whether they purchased outside the platform or not so that I can follow up on their gift that they may or may not have purchased directly through the platform.
