The finance company has now investigated the matter and issued a final decision in my favour, ordering the dealership to collect the car and return all funds. Even with the official verdict, they continue to cause major problems. Save yourself the stress and money—stay away from this place!

Really Great service throughout well looked after and supported throughout the purchase, great vehicle great condition and great price, staff very very helpful, Buzz , Tom, and other (sorry do not know his name), waited later for us to turn up from London, could not have asked for a better service, and highly recommended by myself, friendly and a great experience overall , many thanks everyone .
2017 GLC
Went up to view the 2017 GLC they had for sale, looked lovely took it for a test drive and seemed perfect. Can’t really knock the approach from the dealer at the time really friendly and zero pressure. Paid the 18k and part exd my car, quick and easy. Fast forward 45 minutes heading on to the m6 for it to lose power and stop struggling to get onto the hard shoulder, with the engine not turning over. Rang up said someone would get it on the truck to take it back luckily not too far as I was driving back to Birmingham. 1 to 2 hours go by and driver comes and takes it back to mylson, to be told my old car was no longer there so gave me a ropey golf to drive back while they would look at it over the next couple of days. Monday comes say it’s a fault with the ECU, fine it’s a used car I’ll give them the benifit of the doubt. Wednesday they say it’s all sorted but could they have Thursday to give it a test drive and drop it down Friday midday, sound no worries. Thursday comes Ian messages about there being a rip on the passenger seat could they get it sorted over the weekend I said no I need the car Friday so I will get it sorted myself fully knowing he was trying to gain time because the car was still faulty no worries he says Friday it will be there. Friday comes and not one word after I messaged and rang, to be told at 2pm that the fuel rail was damaged and I could have my money back the following Monday with my old car now sold so was left with zero car after they took there courtesy car back. Do you not check these cars properly I’m confused? Or just let your customers know what’s properly going on with out all the lies. Nothing but head ache off this place so if you are buying make sure you drive the thing properly

I am absolutely devastated with my experience purchasing a car from this company. I paid £14,000 cash for what I believed was a reliable, low mileage vehicle, and just over a year later the car has completely broken down to the point it may need writing off.
I specifically chose this car because I was assured it was a good, dependable vehicle that would last me a long time. I worked hard and saved up for a long time to afford it, so to now be left in this position is incredibly upsetting and stressful.
I feel completely let down by the quality of the car and the experience overall. Based on what has happened, I personally would advise others to think very carefully before purchasing a vehicle from this company.
Above and Beyond Service – Even Stayed Late to Help Us Drive Away Same Day!
I had an excellent experience with Mylson and especially Tom, who looked after us from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, everything felt relaxed and professional — no pressure at all, which made a big difference compared to other places.
I initially went in on Saturday to look at a silver-blue Mercedes, but the colour didn’t quite appeal to me in person. When I got home, I checked their website and found a black Mercedes that I really liked. I messaged Tom on Sunday, explained my situation with work (I’m only free on weekends), and asked if it would be possible to part exchange and drive away the same day.
Even though Tom was due to finish at 1pm, he went out of his way to make it happen. We arrived just before closing time, and despite being on his own with other customers there, he stayed calm, professional, and kept apologising for the wait — even though there was absolutely no need. I actually told him to take his time because he was already going above and beyond.
What really stood out was how genuine and friendly he was. My 4-year-old son took a real liking to him and hasn’t stopped talking about him since, and my wife also mentioned how helpful and approachable he was. That says a lot.
I part-exchanged my Kia and drove away in my new Mercedes the same day, all thanks to Tom’s effort and flexibility. On top of that, I realised after leaving that I had forgotten to bring the spare key for my part exchange. Tom was very understanding and even offered to meet me halfway or allow me to post it when convenient, which I’ve now done. That level of trust and flexibility really stood out.
I’m genuinely very happy with the whole experience and would highly recommend Mylson to anyone looking for a car. Great service, great people, and no pushy sales tactics — just how it should be.

Fantastic place to get a motor! From the moment i got there it was relaxed which is how i like to buy a car! I was left to look around the car for as long as i wanted so i can get a good feel for it. Buzz the sales guy was amazing and very friendly and even sorted delivery of my vehicle by the general manger who was a great guy too. Overall i would highly recommend this place. Ticked all the boxes for me. I hate buying cars normally as you normally get hounded and preasured but this place was amazing. Thank you all. Love my new Leon 😃😃🥰

I’ve purchased three cars from Mylson over the years, and the experience has been outstanding every single time. I bought my first car A Mercedes c class around five years ago, and it’s still as good today as the day I drove it away. That alone speaks volumes about the quality Mylson delivers.
Most recently, we purchased a W204 C-Class for my wife. The car was in immaculate condition with impressively low mileage. The team provided amazing service from start to finish, and we also opted for the extended warranty package, which was explained clearly and gave us extra peace of mind.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! My Father purchased a car who had an oil leak and the radio was not working. They changed the screen on the vehicle to a tiny tiny screen which looks silly on a big vehicle, they then said they fixed the oil leak but we took the vehicle back to our mechanic who confirmed nothing was touched in the car at all!!! It looked like the oil was just cleaned off!!! We are now 15 days after returning the car, the finance company have their funds and we still don’t!! We are owed £7000 by MYLSON who told us we won’t be receiving funds from them but the lender which again is in correct as I have just spoken to the lender who knows nothing about this! My father is disabled and MYLSON know he can’t go long distance alone, he’s been home bound for 2 weeks now and still no site of our money. PLEASE AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP IF YOU DON’T WANT TO GO THROUGH THIS! And to add on they drive their vehicles which are meant to go for sale, my dad px’d a mint condition Audi Q5 which the staff were driving whilst it was up for sale on the website, DO NOT BE FOOLED WITH THE MILEAGE ON THE WEBSITE

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Misrepresented Specification & Hidden Poor-Quality Repairs
**UPDATE FINANCE COMPANY AGREED THERE WAS MISREPRESENTATION WITH ADD** I am writing this review to warn potential buyers about my deeply disappointing experience with Mylson. While the car I purchased, a BMW 520d, looked great on the surface, the reality of the vehicle and the shocking after-sales service have been appalling.
1. Grossly Misrepresented Specification
The primary reason I chose this specific car was its advertised specification, which was listed as having a "Total value of factory fitted extras" of £16,040. This was a complete misrepresentation. The advert was structured to be deliberately misleading, listing individual options and then also adding the full price of the "Packs" they belonged to, effectively double-counting the value.
When I raised this, their excuse was that their system automatically generates the spec and that "errors may occur". This is unacceptable when they have given direct verbal assurances.
2. Hidden Damage & Substandard Repair
After a few washes, a poor-quality repair on the rear quarter panel became visible, with the paint going flat and showing ripples. This was not noticeable on collection because the car was so highly polished it completely masked the defect.
I have since confirmed through my own investigations that Mylson acquired this car from British Car Auctions as a "Grade 3" vehicle, meaning it had existing damage. Mylson have repeatedly tried to deny responsibility for this.
3. Abysmal Customer Service
Dealing with Mylson after identifying these issues has been a masterclass in evasion and delay.
* They consistently tried to avoid creating a written record, attempting to call despite my explicit requests to keep all communication to email.
* They delayed for over a week by claiming they needed to consult their "external legal team" for a straightforward consumer rights issue.
* Ultimately, they refused to take any meaningful responsibility. Their only offer was a "full and final offer" of £300, not as an admission of wrongdoing, but on the condition that I did not leave any bad reviews. This isnt about financial remedy now
I feel completely let down and misled by this company. My experience shows a pattern of misleading advertising and a total refusal to take responsibility when caught out. I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a car from Mylson to be extremely cautious. Independently verify the entire specification, get the car professionally inspected for hidden repairs, and do not trust their verbal assurances.
Im sure they will respond with even more lies , if this review makes just one person think twice about purchasing form this dealer then its served its purpose.
